My husband has scoliosis and he has found doing Tai Chi to be very helpful. He used to suffer a lot of lower back pain and discovered that movements and breathing exercises kept him feeling limber and made the pain virtually disappear. He also believes golf has helped, the twisting action of swinging.

Do you swim? I enjoy swimming and although I dont have scoliosis I do get a lot of general back pain that swimming helps.

Hope this is of some help to you!

I know that swimming helps, and i think maybe yoga, but im not sure on the yoga, but i am 100% sure on the swimming, some of my friends have scoliosis!

also, besides swimming, check with your doctor for some more exercizes, and if they are right for you, to be sure that the things that you are doing will help you and your degree of scoliosis.

They say Yoga is a good way to exercise. There are some yoga books for it. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
go to that site and they explain somethings and they have people who wrote about how they worked with it. I hope that helped a little. *mDezzy
