I've been having this horrible pain, about 5 inches to the right of my belly button. It'll come for about 30 seconds, then go away. But it`ll hurt so bad it forces me to sit down.
(its not period cramps, it hurts much worse, and its totally different, plus I had mine last week)
And now, I feel faint, really hott, and super dizzy. When I was at the movies I was nauses (sp?)

Let your mom know about it. It could be your appendix. Not saying it is, just don't get sick and not tell her. :)
Just to prove those with no medical knowledge wrong here are the symptoms of appendicitis.
Symptoms:
· Generalized abdominal cramps. Pain usually begins near the navel and moves down to the lower right. The pain becomes worse when the person moves or touches the area.
· Nausea or vomiting.
· Elevated temperature.
· Increased pulse rate.
· Loss of appetite.
· Constipation.
· Abdominal swelling.
In appendicitis these symptoms tend to become more severe as time passes. Not everyone with appendicitis has all the symptoms. Never should a laxative or enema be taken if you suspect appendicitis. These medications can cause the appendix to rupture.

hi ..um i probably sound really imature about it, but i am starting birth control for the first time and i was waiting for sunday to take the first one, and i thought it was today but its actually saturday ...what do i do now?.. do i keep taking them and pretend that today it sunday for the rest of the time...or do i restart a new package tomorrow. Baby oil is good for your skin and it is gentle.
Perhaps that is what she uses it for. You could just ask her...mom what do you have baby oil for.

You are probably all right. Stress, exercise...many things can throw your period off or just make it skip now and then. Don't worry about it yet.
If for some reason you don't get it...lets say by the end of August, go to walmart or any drug store and get a home pregnancy test. They are easy to use and easy to hide.

the other night my bf was riding home on his 4wheeler..he only lives like 2 or 3 miles away..and he got stopped by the cops! they gave him 5 tickets! one for uninsured driver, one for unregistered, one for unlicensed..one for no head light..one for no tail light (he shut them off because he was almost home..like 3 houses away!) the 4 wheeler is a class A vehicle. im guessing in all it will cost about $500 because he got 3 major tickets! does anyone have a better guess? what if we cant get the money together by the date it says to turn the ticket in which is august 16th? is there an arrangement you make? Can you do community service instead? how can we get money together if we dont have jobs? (link)

Sounds to me like he better tell his parents because I think 500 dollars might be a pretty low estimate. I'm not sure about that but driving an off road vehicle on the street is pretty bad.
He can't make arrangements until he goes to court. Sometimes they let you and sometimes they don't. I doubt they will let him do community service for a traffic violation.

My husband and I are divorcing over the fact that I wasn't a virgin when we got married, 5 years ago. Back when we were dating, I'd cheated on him and fooled around with another guy. Write him. Tell him everything you have always wanted to tell him. It is much easier than talking. He won't interrupt your train of thought, he won't get you off the subject with an argument. Its just you and the paper, computer, whatever you want to write on.
Tell him you want to get together and talk about it after he has read it. Maybe he needs to write you as well.
Then, when you get together to talk about it really talk. He will know what you want for the future and will have had time to think about it.
Hopefully to the point where no arguing will be necessary.
Then, AFTER you have discussed the other issues that have you separated and hopefully a decision is made to try again, tell him about the baby. If he does come back, you want to know it is for you. The baby will be a bonus. If you tell of the baby first then you will never know if he would have come back otherwise and it will bother you in the future.

ok... im 16 and a girl, and i really haven't done alot w/ guys, actually ive done very very little.. but my boyfriend has (with girls that is).. i think if he would have had an std he would have told me... espically since he says he loves me.. well recently i was at his house... we didnt have sex (we never have had).. but he wanted to.. so we ended up just touching eachother... well he fingered me more than he normaly does and i did thouch him but we never touched ours together (just hands)down below... since i havent gone swimming in a while i havent shaved my bikini line... well i shaved it a couple days ago.. and it got really irratated.. ive had razor burn before and this is the worst ive had... im worried that he may have given me herpes... im not so sure thats possible.. i feel like i may have some of the sypmtoms but i also could just be sick...... is it possible that i could have gotten them? please help me out (link)

I don't think you have herpes. It is just irritation from the shaving and the hot weather
probably isn't helping it. You have to have had sexual contact ( other than just hands) to contract herpes. Use some powder to help with the irritation and excess moisture from sweating and you will be OK in a couple of days.
If not then you may need to go to the doctor, but I don't think it will be necessary. :)

I just got a speeding ticket a little while ago but the cop was just the biggest jerk ever. He pulled me over after I entered the highway, telling me that I was speeding on the ramp. Wtf is that? I was accelerating so I could catch up with the drivers on the highway, WHAT YOURE SUPPOSED TO DO!
The speed limit on the highway was 70mph but everyone was going like 85 (crazy Houston drivers)so going up the ramp I was going 77 (what he told me) and he pulled me over! I didn't argue with him too much because I didn't want to get in trouble but should I try to fight it? I mean, yeah I was over 70 but only to keep up with the traffic. So fight it or just pay up? Just pay it. You were speeding regardless of the reason so the cop will win.
A hint for the future...just take the ticket quietly. If you want to fight it later the cop is less likely to remember you. Makes fighting one easier. :)

I don't think acne bothers boys to much. Most of them are fighting it too!
Tell her (and you too) to try and wash her face with just hot water. No soap. That's what I did and I never had a bad acne problem. Its sure worth a try.
They also make facial sauna things that mist hot water on your face and open your pores up. Those are good to use if your face feels extra yukky. If you are careful and can't afford one of those, you can boil some water and put a towel over your head and catch the steam off the hot water. Put your face with the towel hanging over your head over the water. It can burn you if you get to close so use caution.
Acne just has to run its course. Some will last a couple of days and other blemishes last a week.
About all you can do is tell her she looks great and stop worrying. Stress can cause acne! Have yourselves a weekly beauty day or something and don't worry about the acne. :)

Hi, I asked a question about itching 'down there,' it's off and on and once I go to the bathroom and scratch it, it's okay. Do you think it was caused by masturbating? .. I don't think it's a yeast infection because there's no burning .. I did shave there once a while ago, but I don't think it's from that. (link)

Ah ha! If hair is growing back...that itches something fierce! Try putting some powder on until it grows back in. That's one awful side effect of shaving there and why I don't recommend it. I would bet that's the reason.
Masturbating won't give you a rash. Don't worry about that.
Just for future information though and just in case. A yeast infection won't cause burning when
you urinate. That's a urinary tract infection that causes that. I will give you the website for yeast infection. You can check your symptoms with what it says and go from there. This is a wonderful website that all teen girls need to read though because it is loaded with great information.
If it is from shaving it shouldn't last much longer. Just hang in there. :)

I'm kind of "addicted" to Gatorade. Everytime we go to the store, I buy it. And, instead of buying cokes to keep around the house like I use to, I now buy Gatorade.. and drink atleast 1 a day. It could be many things. All of them needing medical attention. If you don't, it won;t get better and could become infected if you continue scratching. I know you don't want to say anything to your mom, but you honestly need to. :)

I don't think it really matters. You will have to get a pelvic exam and the doctor won't want you to be on your period when you do. That's all.
If you want to be positive about it you can call the office and ask his nurse. She will be more than happy to talk to you. :)
