what time of cycle to go to gyno...

hey,
I am just going to start taking birth control and I am sexually active, i know that i have to go to the gyno and I recall hearing my doctor say something about what week of the month it would be best to go..it was somtime like after my period, but i just don't remember...do you know?

I don't think it really matters. You will have to get a pelvic exam and the doctor won't want you to be on your period when you do. That's all.
If you want to be positive about it you can call the office and ask his nurse. She will be more than happy to talk to you. :)
