technically it means crazy drunk, but my friends use it as an adjective meaning "awesome" or "cool"- example: "That movie was crunk!" but they are kind of weird. i actually told them that wasn't what it means, that it means crazy drunk, but they just looked at me like i was stupid. so yes, it means crazy drunk and my friends are really dumb.

Crunk is the words crazy and drunk but together. They changed the D in drunk and put a C for crazy. So basically you were kinda right, but when your drunk you usually are crazy so you were on the right track.

cecaaa answered Friday July 28 2006, 2:32 am:
actually it DOES have something to do with drunk
rappers have been using it in songs for years to mean really fucked up, crunk actually means "crazy drunk"
also, on the conan o'brien show he was talking about a way to get around having cuss words censored on tv. so he decided to use "crunk" to fill in for all the cuss words that are censored (ex. "that was really crunked up", instead of saying "that was really fucked up")

I'm going to bet this is your answer. I got this from answers.com if you want to check. :)

Crunk
Crunk music is a specific type of hip hop music, based out of the Southern United States, particularly on the eastern side of Atlanta, Georgia; and Memphis, Tennessee. Crunk is classified as a subdivision of Dirty South or Southern rap and is an outgrowth of Atlanta-based Miami Bass and perhaps more directly, New Orleans' Bounce music.
