Try not to pop pimples. That only pushes the bacteria down further into your skin, which causes the pimple to resurface later. Instead, either put some toothpaste or acne medication on it every night.
The scar shouldn't be permanent, but if in a week or so it is still there buy Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Acne Mark Fading Peel. It is about $12 at drugstores. Here is the link to it:

My best friend is an every sunday, church and really religious parents, and i took her to a party and she met a guy. She has only told me her secret, but she has already missed two periods! She might be pregnant and she really needs to tell her parents, but she is so afraid of how they react. If she is pregnant, she wants to keep the baby, she doesn't beleive in abortion or adoption, but she is afraid her parents will make sure she gets rid or the baby.

First, make sure she is pregnant. I don't know how old your friend is, but her periods might just be really irregular. Did they have sex without a condom or any type of birth control? If yes, then there is a possibility of pregnancy. Go to Walgreens or some other type of drugstore and buy a pregnancy test. They are really easy to use, directions will be included. Either that or go to Planned Parenthood if there is one near you. The people at Planned Parenthood see teenagers like you guys come in every single day with problems like this, so don't be embarassed to go.
If she finds out for sure that she IS pregnant, she is going to have to tell her parents. Just think about it, how is she going to hide a big belly from her parents? How is she going to support the baby once it is born? She just needs to tell her parents that she needs to talk about something. Then sit them down and just straight out say "Mom, dad, I'm pregnant". That's probably going to be the hardest thing she will ever have to say, but she can do it. She needs to tell them that she realizes that a consequence of having unprotected sex was a possible baby, and she feels that she is willing to take on the responsibility of a baby with their help. She also needs to tell tham that it is HER baby, and there is no way she is going to get an abortion or give it up for adoption. If her family is really that religious, they will want to keep it anyways. It's going to be hard for her but she will get through it!

I am going to be a freshman as of aug. 24 and i really want to make a good impression on everybody.What would be a good outfit to wear on orientation and the first day? i wear mostly peppy clothes i guess rather pricey brands: like a&f ae juicy and hollister but i am going to a school that is very mixed so i dont want to look like a snaob or a slut.

If I were you I would wear a tube top with a wide belt cinched at the waist with some nice dark jeans and heels. You don't need a necklace, just wear some fun earrings. Here is a picture to show what I mean:

I wore an outfit similar to this to my orientation and got many compliments!! Plus, there are no labels on the top or belt so no one can call you a snob because they won't know whether it is designer or not.
If you think this is showing too much skin you could always throw a cute jacket on top of it, but thats up to you. Good luck at orientation!

rappers have been using it in songs for years to mean really fucked up, crunk actually means "crazy drunk"
also, on the conan o'brien show he was talking about a way to get around having cuss words censored on tv. so he decided to use "crunk" to fill in for all the cuss words that are censored (ex. "that was really crunked up", instead of saying "that was really fucked up")

I just got a speeding ticket a little while ago but the cop was just the biggest jerk ever. He pulled me over after I entered the highway, telling me that I was speeding on the ramp. Wtf is that? I was accelerating so I could catch up with the drivers on the highway, WHAT YOURE SUPPOSED TO DO!
The speed limit on the highway was 70mph but everyone was going like 85 (crazy Houston drivers)so going up the ramp I was going 77 (what he told me) and he pulled me over! I didn't argue with him too much because I didn't want to get in trouble but should I try to fight it? I mean, yeah I was over 70 but only to keep up with the traffic. So fight it or just pay up? I don't think I would fight it if I were you.
I completely agree 100% that you shouldnt of gotten this ticket, first of all you were only going 7 over the speed limit anyways (ive never heard of anyone getting a ticket for going this little over) and second of all you were just keeping up with traffic, but the court isnt going to look at it this way.
The court is just going to look at it as a black&white situation. Speed Limit is 70, you were going 77 = speeding ticket. Plus, there is no proof that all of the other cars were going a good 15 over the speed limit. I mean, I believe you, but how does the court know you arent just making it up to try to get out of a ticket?
If you fight it, they will most likely win, because technically you were breaking the law, and then you will have a bad name with the court for the next few years, so just pay up.
I know it's stupid but it's just the way it is.

it couldnt be more obvious to me.
when a guy likes a girl, he tends to give all the attention to other girls EXCEPT for the girl he likes, because hes so nervous to talk to you cuz hes scared that hes gonna say something stupid and he really cares what you think about him, where as he doesnt care as much what the other girls think.
and he obviously doesnt hate you if he says hi to you and smiles at you all the time!
what i think is going on is that hes giving you all of these hints that he lieks you, but he doesnt think you like him back because you havent really been returning the same vibe, and thast probably just because YOU arent sure if he likes you either!!
so thats why he said "hell no" when his friend asked, because he didnt want to look stupid liking some girl that didnt like him.
wow sorry this is long. but what you need to do is approach him and tell him that you like him, because i am positive he feels the same way and he is too shy to make a move on you. so if you like him go for it or else it may never happen!!

Ive been told that you can still be preg. even if you get your period.. Most of the people who wrote before this are wrong.
No, it isnt tenchnically possible to get your period if you're pregnant, but it IS possible to bleed a little bit, the bleeding just isn't your period.
Not to gross you out, but just think about what the blood looked like. Was it like your normal flow and just as heavy as it usually is?
Or was it just a spot or two?
If it was just a little bit of blood this is called "spotting" and can happen even when you're pregnant.
But if it was your normal flow and lasted about a week like normal, you're definitely not pregnant.
I would suggest taking a pregnancy test just to be sure though.

i dont know if i put this under the right category or not..but..my friend from school is having a little going away party for her..and theres gonna be guys and stuff and i just got the invite and it says, "COME READY TO SWIM" and the last party we had for the end of the year party..i didnt go to becuz i was self concious..now im 115 pounds and im 5'3 but i still feel like im wide and from the front i have all that lower tummy fat..and like everyone of my friends are skinnier than me and i just cant go to swimming parties cuz im always so down on myself! i dont know what to do! all answers are appreciated! thanks! I wear a size 0 in jeans, and I'm guessing since you are about the same body type as me that that's about what you wear.
Trust me.... THIS ISNT FAT!! and EVERYONE has a little bit of lower tummy fat, we are born with it it's completely normal.
Don't miss out on any of the fun all because of being self conscious. In my experience, other people are only gonna make fun of you if you arent confident in the first place. If you are confident about yourself then everyoen else is gonna look at you in a different light, trust me!
I mean, obviously these people liek you if you keep getting invited to parties with them!
And if any of those guys say anything to you about your weight like they said to your friend, just fire one right back at them.
Maybe try repyling with a "Hey how old are you? 12??" or a "Hey how many girls could you get? 0??"

i think its really obvious that she still likes you.
its probably really hard on her that you guys still hang out all the time even though you are broken up, and she probably is hoping that you guys will get back together.
so when you started making out with her, she was thinking that you liked her again but then you were like "but were just friends" and she got all upset cuz she realized that you just want to get on her and not actually be in a relationship with her.
if you guys hang out all the time, and get on each other still, i dont see what the point of not being in a relationship is really. i meant thats what a girlfriend is - someone you like to hang out with and like to get on.
so if thats what she is to you, why arent you guys together?
if its because you want to get on other girls also, then shes gonna feel really used and you might ruin your guyses relationship and friendship. decide if shes worth it. if you really like her, then you should be perfectly fine getting on only her and not other girls too.
but if shes not worth it to youand you really dont like her that much, then you guys need to stop getting on eachother and just call it quits cuz its probably torture for her.

Ok .. i dont know if this is the rightr catagory but..
I used to have acne really bad on my chest (I still do but not even near as bad as i did before). And now, even though it's better, i Have acne scars on my breasts and it makes me so self conscious. I also have what looks like stretch marks (but they might be scars too.. i dont really know why i would have stretch marks because my boobs aren't that big).
But is there any way to get rid of these things? I dont even like letting my fiance see me... is there some kind of lotion or laser surgery or SOMETHING? Please help me. (link)

You could try Neutrogena Acne Mark Fading Peel. It's only about $15 at drugstores (like Walgreens, CVS or Target) you can find it in the face wash aisle.
I used to have acne scars on my face and it's worked really well for me, so I imagine it would do the same for your chest.

wow thats a tough one
i mean obviously you like this guy if youve dated before and even after the breakup youve still continued to mess around with him and want to get back in a relationship with, but you really need to think about if he is worth your time.
what i think you should do is give him one chance, approach him and tell him that if he really likes you that it should mean more than some stupid bet with his dad and that this bet could cost your guyses entire relationship, and if he really wants to blow it like that.
tell him there are lots of other guys that you could be with and getting with, but youve chosen him and that should mean something to him, and if he says that he doesnt feel the same way or that being single is more important to him than a relationship with you then i think you should move on.
you dont want to be with a guy that just tries to control you like that, trust me this almost exact same thing has happened to me before (im also 17) i waited around for a guy and once we got back together we ended up breaking up soon after
its gonna be hard but i think you should talk to him about it and if he chooses to be with you, great! but if he says no he wants to stay single than just forget about it and stop hooking up with him or calling him all the time or whatever, or else you will never get over him.

Hmm I don't think I have ever heard of something that you can practice ON, but you could always have a stylist at a salon or a friend show you exactly how.
If your eyebrow hairs are just beginning to grow back, then they should be a lot shorter then the rest of your hairs. So it should be easy to pluck the smaller ones without overplucking. Make sure everytime you pluck a few you look in the mirror to make sure you are not overplucking though.

And as for your armpits, I wouldn't use soap&water or lotion as other people have suggested. Just use normal shaving cream that you use on your legs (my favorite is Skintimate) and a razor. Shave in downward strokes, and then follow with upward strokes afterwards to make sure you've really gotten all the hair. It's not hard and it doesn't hurt so don't worry too much about it.
And if you are too embarassed to talk to your parents, you can always ask your friends about either of these things also, as I'm sure they are going through the same thing. Hope that helped! :]]
