Milly203 answered Monday July 31 2006, 1:23 pm: No... it doesn't stay there forever. I had the same problem once and it went away in about a week, but if you don't touch it or anything it could go away faster.

iheartyoussx3 answered Monday July 31 2006, 1:03 pm: hey, well popping pimples is a part of life. you need to do it to get the [ sounds gross ] but puss out of it to prevent further oily skin. because oily skin causes pimples. pro-activ is the best for getting rid of acne scars, but there is also other products out there. do not use toothpaste on pimples, it makes them worse. also getting frequent facials helps with oily skin and helps prevent further pimples.
cecaaa answered Monday July 31 2006, 12:25 pm: Try not to pop pimples. That only pushes the bacteria down further into your skin, which causes the pimple to resurface later. Instead, either put some toothpaste or acne medication on it every night.
The scar shouldn't be permanent, but if in a week or so it is still there buy Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Acne Mark Fading Peel. It is about $12 at drugstores. Here is the link to it:
TEENAGExHEARTS answered Monday July 31 2006, 12:25 pm: well the white stuff that came out was the core of the zit. it is all of the buildup that got clogged in your pore. so its a good thing that you got the white stuff out, because now the zit will eventually fully go away. what you have left is not a scar it is just your irritated skin around your pore. if you keep it clean then the swelling will go away gradually. yoliv answered Monday July 31 2006, 12:07 pm: hi.
No. The scar may stay a couple of weeks (possibly a month) but you could try rubbing a type of scar medicine (maderma for kids or whatever) and then if the white stuff comes out again ask youer doctor about it. [ yoliv's advice column | Ask yoliv A Question ]
Laf16 answered Monday July 31 2006, 11:38 am: yes it will eventually go away... you dont want to pop to many or you probably will have scars...but i no its hard to resist.. but i found out that it takes longer for the pimple to heal after you pop it than it does for it to just go away on its own... so idk... im now trying to resist popping [ Laf16's advice column | Ask Laf16 A Question ]

What you're seeing now isn't scar tissue, but damaged skin.
Before popping a pimple next time, try heating it up with really, really hot washcloths, or putting toothpaste and a bandaid on it for several hours - or overnight.
If you must pop it, put a really hot washcloth on it for 10 or so minutes. Then get a small sewing needle, disinfect it with rubbing alcohol, peroxide etc. and find the opening to your pore if possible. Using a needle will help minimize the redness because you're not squeezing as hard.
If possible, use cottonballs or Q-tips instead of just your fingers, it'll help some with the redness.
For now though, put some toothpaste on it for a little while. Then put a bandaid and Neosporin on it to help it heal. If you have to go out, use some green concealer makeup to balance out the redness of the pimple, but then immediately wash it off when you get home.
pinkers answered Monday July 31 2006, 10:09 am: Ok, next time before you pop a zit, try warming it up with a hot washcloth or putting toothpaste on it overnight first. To get rid of the redness now, put toothpaste on it overnight, and rinse it off in the morning. The scar- At walmart or target you can get a bottle of vitamin E pills. Break open a pill and ooz the stuff on your scar and cover it with a bandaid overnight. That should work. [ pinkers's advice column | Ask pinkers A Question ]
