Hey, so I have a question about my orgasms. In my previous relationship, I was fingered and eaten out but I never orgasmed. Partly, I blame this on my ex because he stopped after about 30 seconds, so I didn't really have time to build up to that point. I think he didn't realize that it takes a little bit of time and effort.

Anyways, when I masturbate, I have really nice orgasms and when I keep going, I can orgasm many, many times in a row. The thing is, I can only reach orgasm by squeezing my thigh and butt muscles together while I stimulate myself. I've tried to orgasm without doing this, but I have to tighten at least a little otherwise I can't. Is this abnormal?

I feel like this is another reason that my ex couldn't make me orgasm, because I wouldn't be squeezing those muscles. If we were still together, I could probably explain what I needed to do so I could orgasm, but I'm a little scared that with the next boyfriend I have, he will think its weird or something. So I'm just wondering if its normal?

Okay thanks!

Everyone is different and everyone finds different techniques that work for them.

Squeezing those muscles is a pretty common thing and you'll probably find that alot of people do it without even realising.

Any boyfriend you have shouldn't really care that you find squeezing some muscles helps you orgasm and to be honest, if you didn't tell him he probably wouldn't even notice.

Finally, bear in mind that it's really common for women to only be able to orgasm alone. If you end up stressing and worrying about the fact that you can't, you won't be able to enjoy sex at all and you'll just further reduce your chance of orgasming with your next boyfriend.

my question is if im not already on the pill will it work to stop my period for the night ? Im on my second day of my menstrual cycle...

The Pill can DELAY your period but unfortunately, it can't stop it mid-flow.

I know this girl and she is really pregnant but totally wants to sleep with me. She got pregnant from a one night stand so it isn't like she has a boyfriend or husband in her life. I think she's pretty and had a crush on her before she got knocked up so I do want to do her but I don't know if it's safe and all of that. I don't want to like cause her to have a miscarriage or abortion or whatever you call it. She's been calling me and asking me to come over and I keep making up excuses because I just don't know what happens. Anybody know anything about this?

It's perfectly safe to have sex while pregnant it's just a case of how comfortable it is for the two of you.

Depending on how heavily pregnant she is, some positions are obviously out. It's also a good idea to go gently.

At the end of the pregnancy, sex can actually induce labour, so you might want to be wary of that.

I know blood is red but what color should period blood be? I mean, healthy period blood...

I get brown colored blood sometimes at the beginning AND at the end of my period. The color in the middle days is usually a bright red though. Red color sounds healthy but...the brown sounds...weird. Is having brown period blood normal? Should I see a doctor?

Sounds normal to me.

Period blood varies in colour and anything from red to dark brown is normal. It's common for menstrual blood to change colour throughout your period so I wouldn't worry.

You should probably also bear in mind that once the blood exits your vagina and hits the air, it's going to change colour. Often the blood will actually be red when it first comes out but change to brown after a while.

I'm having issues at school and because I go to a catholic school we have a Chaplain. And we never talk or anything but I'm thinking of just writing a letter to himand sharing my problems to him. Do you think that's a good idea?

I don't know if he can do anything but many students share secrets with him and he's very trustworthy I hear, but I'm just hoping a tiny bit that he might be able to help me out.

But I'll feel so embarrased if he gets the principal or brings up the whole issue in our assembly in two weeks. The issue is bullying/racism.

And I chose a letter because people write leters and rip/burn them up to cheer them up but I don't see the point in wasting paper and want to send him the letter (sip under the door). But I'm just not quite sure (I always have problems deciding).

So should I send him the letter ro no? Maybe sign it anonymously?

If you feel more comfortable sending him a letter than speaking to him personally then that's absolutely fine.

However, as the issue concerned is quite serious, I think it's important that you let him know who you are so he can help you sort things out. If they do decide to bring it up in assembly I doubt he or the principal will mention your name, especially if you ask them not to.

Please do not be scared of bullies. If you are too scared to seek help, then they have won. Racism is an incredibly serious and unpleasant matter and it needs to be dealt with. Even if you decide not to send the letter, please be brave and speak to someone.

Hey, just wondering when girls start to get their periods. I had just read a question about periods on here and stuff and then I started wondering, when? Is it when they hit puberty or when they hit their teen years? Puberty sounds more logical to me, but I don't know, I'm a guy and so I don't get periods. Anyway I'm 13(m).

There is no one answer for this.

That's to say, although the average age is around 12, anytime between 11 - 16 is completely normal.

You're right in that periods are a sign of puberty but they are usually one of the final stages. Generally, girls will have already have developed things like breasts and pubic hair before their periods start and just like with guys, the age at which that happens completely varies.

So i have a guitar and i want to get lessons. i want to get lessons from someone my age (17). Theres this kid that is really cute and has nice eyes and i really want him to teach me ( so i can become friends with him and potentially date him but who knows) but i dont know him well.

i asked my friend (not a close friend at allll) who has a band, if any of his friends will teach me and he said '___ can give lessons' (the guy i wanted!) i was so happy and i said how i dont know him.

my friend is introducing me to him tomorrow!!

my questions is: how do i act and what do i say when he introduces me? any other advice?

Why would you act any other way than how you usually act?

If you want to become friends with this guy and potentially date him, then you should act entirely naturally with him and be yourself.

Don't scare him off by coming on to him and don't ask him anything inappropriate. Be friendly and see what happens. You have to remember that for now at least, your relationship is nothing more than guitar teacher and student. I doubt he'd be too happy about taking the time to teach you, only to discover your main motive is to hit on him.

I have incredibly pointy breasts that look unappealing. I look like Madona with those pointing cups when I am braless and I hate it. I would like nice, round but firm boobs. How can I make my boobs less pointy and more full without surgery?

Unfortunately, the simple answer is you can't.

However - you don't specify your age but I'm going to assume you're in your teens, in which case I wouldn't worry. Your boobs have got some developing to do yet and they never start off full and round. It's highly likely that they'll change both size and shape as you develop.

Regardless, breasts come in all different shapes and sizes and there are lots of inserts, padding and bras which will make them appear rounder. I know this isn't an ideal situation but you should remember - anyone you let see your boobs without a bra who cares what shape they are shouldn't be seeing them in the first place.

I have to wash my hair every other day to get it to stay not greasy and pretty. Some days I just get so tired of washing it and I want to go longer. It doesn't smell or anything but it looks so dirty and gross. What can I put in my hair to make it less greasy looking without actually washing it in the shower or bathtub? THANKKKKS

The best thing to do is to get some dry shampoo. They come in aerosol cans and you just have to spray it and brush it through. They work really well and you could probably get by for a couple of days on it if you had to.

If you'd rather not spend money or you can't get hold of dry shampoo, then talc/baby powder works really well. The powder will absorb the excess oil and works in much the same way as dry shampoo. Either sprinkle it on your roots and brush through, or put it on your brush first for more coverage.

I'm 18. I've had sex WITH a condom ONCE since my last period (I am not on the pill). My last period started on April 27th. This month I should have started on May 27th, and I did, but all I've experienced was a little bloody the first day (light) and it has just been brown discharge ever since.

This is not the first time this has happened. I often get brown gunky discharge instead of a period.

Should I be worried? I'm out of town until Tuesday.. but I plan on taking a test when I get home. Is it worth my trouble?

Could this be in the place of a period?

As you get older and near the end of puberty your periods can change. The brown 'gunky discharge' you're getting is actually probably just a light period. Menstrual blood can look like that sometimes and it isn't anything to worry about. I doubt you're pregnant, especially seeing as you've had this before but it's a good idea to take a test if you're worried, even if it's only to put your mind at rest.

I don't think it's a cause for concern but if you're still worried then it wouldn't hurt to visit your doctor just to make sure everything's okay.

How much do u think i would lose if i stoped eating for awhile, and drunk nouthing but water?

Alot, but you'd probably also cause yourself some serious damage.

Starving yourself is a terrible idea. What's the use being thin when you're seriously ill or even dead?

If you want to lose weight, do so through healthy eating and excercise.

i'm writing a paper on slang terms from a british novel we read. one word i found was "tussle" and when i look it up it says it means a fight. but the sentence in the book was along the lines of "apart from being alone for 3 years i had a drunken tussle with a guy here or there" and thats a girl speaking so i assumed it meant that she would hook-up with guys not fight them. any idea? any british people who know what it means?

Tussle can mean 'hooking up' in the sense that it's a drunken, rolling around type experience (kinda fight-esque). It's definitely not common 'Bitish slang' though.

where do u shop?

I'm not sure where you live but I'm really lucky to live in the UK, where we have some amazing shops.

Personally, I love Topshop, which actually has a US website: http://us.topshop.com
The stock is identical to the stuff you can get in the UK and is really fashionable and always bang on trend.
They also ship to most European countries, Canada, Australia & New Zealand as well as parts of Asia.

I also really like Miss Selfridge. Their clothes are vintage inspired and they do lots of pretty dresses. They also have a brilliant Petite department. They don't have a US website, but their UK site ships to the same countries as Topshop.
http://www.missselfridge.com

Urban Outfitters is a US company, with websites for loads of different countries. You can find the site for your region here:
http://redirect.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/user/site_preference.jsp?originalURL=/&
They do amazing clothes and accessories. It tends to be a little more expensive but the quality is usually great and the stuff is really cool.

Another brilliant place is ASOS, which is web based. The amount of stuff on that site is ridiculous - they are a one stop shop for clothes, accessories, shoes and beauty products and they're great. The prices range from super cheap to designer and the choice is endless so you're bound to find something. They are UK based but ship to the US and Canada.
http://www.asos.com

Finally, it's really worth hunting down boutiques and vintage shops. You can find some amazing bargains and it's really fun. You're also more likely to end up with one-off items that no one else has.

hey sry this is personal, but i wana know if u and/or ur friends shave.. "down there" should i? or shud i not? thanks ;)

I know lots of people who do and I know lots of people who don't. I also have friends who wax, use hair removal cream and some who just trim it regularly. It's completely down to personal preference and whatever you choose, it's normal.

The bottom line is that if you do decide to do it, make sure that you're doing it because you want to, not because you should.

how far should you go with a guy at age 13...and don't say "however far you wanna go"--thanks

According to the law, you shouldn't be doing anything more than kissing.

Obviously this depends on where you live as the age of consent varies from country to country but in most of the US it's 18 and in the UK it's 16. This means that having sexual contact before that age is illegal and if you were to engage in sexual contact with someone above the age of consent, they could be charged with statutory rape.

Obviously no one can physically stop you from doing what you want but you should never do anything if you aren't ready and you should never let anyone force you to do something you don't want to do. I know alot of people who really regret having sex and engaging in sexual activities as young as they did and wish they'd waited. 13 is very young and you have your whole life ahead of you to do whatever you want.

If you do decide to have sex then please remember to be safe and use protection.

does sex hurt the first time?

Assuming you're female and referring to sex then the short answer is yes.

Most girls do find that the first few times does hurt, although the pain level varies from person to person.

The best way to minimise discomfort is to ensure you are completely relaxed and ready, both mentally and physically. If you are nervous and not ready then your muscles will tense up, making it 10 times more painful. It's also really important that you spend some time on foreplay. As you become turned on, your vagina produces a natural lubricant which is essential for the penis to enter smoothly. It might be a good idea to have a synthetic lubricant on hand, such as KY Jelly, as this can really help the process along.

The most important thing to remember is that you should only ever have sex with someone who respects you and who makes you feel comfortable. It's absolutely fine to say no or ask them to stop if you're finding it uncomfortable or painful.

And remember - ALWAYS use some form of protection.

So I started taking birth control About two months ago, I am on my third pack right now and have not started my period since i started taking them. I was already three weeks late before I had sex so that was pretty unusual. That was three weeks ago and I still haven't started my period. Should I be worried?

It could be that your body is still adjusting to the birth control, which is pretty normal. It's probably worth taking a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side and to put your mind at rest. If you aren't pregnant then try not to worry too much, your body should adjust in time. If you still aren't getting your period in a month or so then check in with your doctor (who whichever organisation prescribed you your birth control) to make sure there aren't any problems.

is there a way to get more melinin in your skin so u will tan betteR?

I believe you can get injections containing a compound which stimulates the production of melanin. However, these injections have been shown to be very unsafe and expensive. You're better off tanning as safely as possible - the fake way. Even if you avoid skin cancer, having wrinkly skin and sun spots by the time you're 30 isn't worth a tan when you're young.

I know that sounds weird but I went to a waterpark this weekend, and my face is like all red. I mean I use this stuff to wash my face to prevent acne.. But I don't really feel
like that's it. And the waterpark the whole ceiling ofthe entire place is glass. So yeah. And I was there 3 days..so is that possible? Or is just the chlorine or something?

You can get sunburn/a tan through glass and it's likely that the sun's light bouncing off the water also made a difference.

If it was the chlorine, it's unlikely that just your face would be affected. You'd probably be red in other areas too.

I know you probably don't need reminding, but always remember to put sunscreen on before you go out in the sun. Skin Cancer is not a good look.

Do you guys think that it's worth it to spend $110 on a watch that you're in love with and will most likely wear every day? I will be spending my own money on this.

Thanks :)

If you really love it then yes, it's worth it. Expensive watches are high quality and can last years.
