Brown discharge but no real bleeding period?
I'm 18. I've had sex WITH a condom ONCE since my last period (I am not on the pill). My last period started on April 27th. This month I should have started on May 27th, and I did, but all I've experienced was a little bloody the first day (light) and it has just been brown discharge ever since.
This is not the first time this has happened. I often get brown gunky discharge instead of a period.
Should I be worried? I'm out of town until Tuesday.. but I plan on taking a test when I get home. Is it worth my trouble?
Could this be in the place of a period?

As you get older and near the end of puberty your periods can change. The brown 'gunky discharge' you're getting is actually probably just a light period. Menstrual blood can look like that sometimes and it isn't anything to worry about. I doubt you're pregnant, especially seeing as you've had this before but it's a good idea to take a test if you're worried, even if it's only to put your mind at rest.
I don't think it's a cause for concern but if you're still worried then it wouldn't hurt to visit your doctor just to make sure everything's okay.

i have that sometimes as well its just a begaining peiod it dont matter how many days u have it, its just were u still had blood from your last period and its just then came out or maybe you might be pragnet GO see a doctor test might not always be right then you will then relize if its worth to flit out or not Good luck =)
