A father finds his son praying at night. 'God bless Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma. Ta ta Grandpa.' The father finds this odd, but doesn't think too much of it. The next morning the grandfather dies. Well, personall I don't think you should have sex until you KNOW you're ready for it, not when you want it. Guys are going to see thats all you seem to want and take advantage of you, i've seen it happen. I also think that your mom would feel pretty bad, come one you're 13. I think you should wait a while, until you're a bit older. If you really want sex that bad, I honestly think you should try masturbating. Its safe easy and fun. No one gets hurt. Think this over for a while. Don't rush into it.

ok well i really want my hair chemically straighted but all ym friends say it is really really bad for you. i kno its kinda true but i hate my hair! like whatever i do it wont get straight. becasue i have really wavy hair its not curly its just like wavy and i hate it! i have a really good straigtner but it still dosnt get my hair straight. so i was wondering how chemically straigtning works.

Well, I'm black and i get my hair chemically straightened about twice a year. it depends on how much you do it and how strong the perm is. My mom or hairdresser usually does mine, so the prices may vary, but I can tell that it only hurts if you've been scratching your head all day, then it burns. If you keep up with it, for me personally, it can last up to 4 months, but your hair may be different from mine, so results may vary just a bit. You should ask a professional for more details.

I remember that song it came out when I was in like 6th or 7th grade. The band is 9 Days and the song is "Story of a Girl". Its a shame, that band was a one hit wonder and the song the got famous off of.

Calm down. I'm a junior and I understand how you feel. You just have to keep up with your school work. You can't give up now, you've made it this far.I'm not going to lie to you and say that it gets easier, it does get hard, sometimes, but anywhere worth going doesn't have short cuts. When you graduate, it'll all be worth it. Trust me. Just keep your head up and follow through. It's inevietable to grow up. You just have to take it all in stride.

I read books and write. I also play in the rain, because I really enjoy it and thinks its fun, but if you want something more mature, reading books, watching your favorite movie, inviting friends over. Even building a fort in your living room would be fun...Sorry, I can be immature at times, but to me all these things are fun.

I know that most of the people that ask a random weirdos question are being stalked by a random weirdo, but I really like this one girl, and well, I am a girl too. I know it's weird though, but every time she sleeps in my study hall I watch her and fantasize. She woke up one time and saw me and got freaked out...and called me a weirdo. That's not weird. I usually fantasize about guys, but thats another styory *lol!* You might be bisexual, but than again, what's in a name? A rose by any other name would still smell as sweet, right? So, what, you like this girl, at least you've come to terms with it. But try not to stare too much, I, myself have been caught doing that and have gotten uncomfortable as well. If she asks why you were staring at her, just act like you were looking into space and you have no idea what shes talking about. you're not a weirdo, don't worry about it, everyone stares and gazes and thinks about their crush.

In our school we have Microsoft Word, and on my computer i only have microsoft works word processor. I need to bring a saved essay to school on a disk but it doesnt open in microsoft word because its microsoft works. (gets confusing), so i need to download microsoft word on my computer for free so i could bring my essay to school and work on it. Does anyone know any sites they will give me so i can download microsoft word for free? I tried searching on google but i need specific sites cuz im dumb. Anyone who helps..thanks alot!!!! (link)

I don't think you have to download anything. I had Microsoft works instead of Word. All you need to do is when you open the file, click down below and selsct all word files...I didn't explain that well, wait...when you put the floppy in and open the file, at the bottom it says what kind of file, its either below or above file name. It will say file type. Click on the little button thing and select "All Word Files" and you should be done. And if for some reason that doesn't work, then I'm sorry I couldn't help you. But I hope I helped.

I wouldn't advise it, just because he can't get you pregnant doesn't mean he doesn't have a sexually transmitted disease. Also, do you know for sure if he's sterile? Personally I would still use a condom just in case he DOESN'T shoot a "blank", even if he didn't have an std.

Okay so I met this guy (we are both 16) and we hit it off. spent like 10 hours together he was totally flirting holding hands cuddling and he would just stare at me and would always sit next to me and he tried to kiss me and such.. (it was a church retreat. Guys are weird, I had the same thing happen to me. I know how you feel, confused and unsure and you think you did something wrong, right? If not, thats ok. Um...he could have just been like...using you, I want to say, but thats not the word i want to use, but its close. Maybe hes even afraid of commitment, like I am. Its ok to be mad about it, but don't be entirely upset with him, perhaps he was scared, not by you, but of a relationship, most 16 year old guys are...or 17...but this isn't about me. I think maybe this guy really did like you though. Its nothing you did wrong, its just that teenage boys are frightfully weird, in most cases. Don't dwell on it too much. If it was meant to be, you guys will meet up again and hit things off, if not...then *shrugs shoulders* theres someone out there for you.

ok so here is the deal everyone knows i am Bisexual like everyone at my school knows. and i knew i was gunna get crap from people. But it has gone to far people are startin to make fun of me like way more and it gets more intense everyday. Not to mention people make fun of me because i watch wierd movies like "Hook" or "Aladdin" I mean sure i am male. but still why does it give people the right to say mean stuff i am also colored and people are being racial talking to adults doesn't help very much. what can they do. and i am out of ideas ignoring them doesn't help.
I know that being Bisexual is bad and i am trying to be straight and i am gettin close to just likeing females. and it seems that god isn't here for me i pray everynight hoping for a better life. and for god to send somone to know who i am. al i need is a friend. my dad lives in switzerland. and i never get to see him only in the summer. and it feels like my life is going down hill. my dog died we had to put him down. that still gives me tears. and all my friends seem to be going against me. because of rumors going around that i am dishonest. and what not i only have 2 friends. and i just don't know what to do it seems like i have run out of options.
can you help me like to find someway to get noy only my mind off but at least pray for me.

I don't know what your religous views are, but being bisexual isn't bad, not in my eyes. Those kids have no right to make fun of you. You have done nothing wrong, those kids are being ignorant and immature. You should never have to apologize for who you are, as long as you feel comfortable with it and thats who you truly are. All those friends who left you because of the rumors aren't very good friends or they aren't friends at all, more so the latter of the two. You shouldn't have to put up with that.
I don't know the situation with your dad living in Switzerland, but if you really want to talk to him, I suggest that you buy a phone card or somehtign and call him up, it may not be the same, but its a start, at least you'll be talking to him. As for finding new friends...try searching for gay, bi, and lesbian communities in your area. That way, you'll be around people like you and you don't have to worry about any slurs being yelled at you for being who you are.

Well, I wouldn't really blame your mom so much. Your brother is old enough now to make decisions on his own, independent of your mom. You may disagree, but think about it, your brother made all of those decisions himself, right? He decided to do it, knowing what would happen. My own brother almost had charges pressed against him by our mom, but thats a bit different becuase he's 28, but your mom could opt to put him in counseling or have him put in juvenille. Some states are different about their laws. Here in Michigan, a kid can be kicked out of the house at 17. If you really love your brother and care about what happens to him, sit down and talk to him. Have an intervention if you need to. And if you've already done that and it hasn't worked, its not your fault or the family's fault, you can't force him to listen to you guys and to take your advice. To give him a jolt of reality though, have him spend a night or two in jail to see what its really like, then maybe he'll stop stealing. If you want to find him somewhere to go for the time being though, call up family memebers and friends and see who is willing to take him in. Look for half-way homes or boys shelters that he can stay at until things blow over. I hope things work out for you and ypur family.

Actaully, I just found a bass guitar for $15 at a yard sale and its in good condition. Your best bet, a garage sale or yard sale and of course pawn shops, you'd be amazed.

I just got my period again today (not the first time) But I have a wicked bad cramp. Like I came home from school because it was way too unbearable. Any ways on how to make it less painful other than take advil or w/e cuz i already did. (link)

I use a heating pad. It makes me sleepy, but it also relaxes me. Excercise also helps. You also may be lacking iron, so make sure you eat things like leafy green vegetables, some people say strawberries help. Salmon is another good food to eat as well. But if your cramps get unbearable like mine did, go to the doctor, they gave me motrium 600, it kind of worked, but mine were REALLY bad.

Well, I know alot people who have gotten the shot, remember nothing is ever 100%. The injection is 99%, just like the pill. Its not dumb, its better to be a fool for 5 minutes than for a lifetime, right? If you need anymore info, asl your doctor. And yes, there is still a possiblity that you could get pregnant.I would still advise you to use the "back-up method" if you plan on having sex, just to be safe.

I get those. Those are called Charley Horses. I don't know what they are caused by...actually a one of the reasons why they may be caused is due to lack of potassium. Make sure you eat a bannana every once in a while to keep them at bay, thats what I do, and it works. If you exercise alot,you may be more prone to get them. And if the pain persists, go to the doctor, they should know what to do.

Well, 4/20 is the code word for pot, first of all. And its the average time people get off of work and school to smoke pot, 4:20 pm. I don't what more I can add to it, but at my school it was a pretty big thing , alot kids came to school stoned, like thats different from any other day...

I'm not sure if you have a Sally's Beauty Supply out there, their pretty popular here in Michigan. Actually, I got my last flat iron at Meijers, it works wonders. Just try to look for a beauty supply place in your area, search on the internet or ask around at school or with some friends.

im asking this question for my friend...
one year ago, when my friend and her family were away, some little girl was walking through the alleyway. my friend's neighbor's dog is really big and scary, so the little girl ran, and jumped my friend's fence to hide from the dog, and as a result, broke her arm and needed surgery.
one year later, my friend's parents get a letter in the mail saying that they will be getting sued because it happened on their property. IT'S NOT EVEN THEIR FAULT. can they fight against this? (link)

Yeah, it wasn't their dog. The parents are just looking for someone to sue. The girl can sue the owner of the dog but not the parents, and if she does sue the parents, there is a slim chance she would win, but in today's society, you never know.
