weed day?
why is april 20th national pot day? kids got arrested at my school today and they had drug searches in the parking lot. i didn't know it was a "holiday" though until this past monday...what's so signifigant about the date? why is this national pot day? thanks!

Well, 4/20 is the code word for pot, first of all. And its the average time people get off of work and school to smoke pot, 4:20 pm. I don't what more I can add to it, but at my school it was a pretty big thing , alot kids came to school stoned, like thats different from any other day...

Ugh, I just found out it was national pot day on 4/20 when my neighbor told me yesterday. I think it's a total waste. Drugs suck! Yeah, anyways. I'm pretty sure April 20 (420) was chosen as national pot day because in slang, 420 means lets go get high. hope i helped!

That's crazy. My school didn't have any drug searches at all. I don't think it's a real "holiday", like as in Easters, Christmas, Boxing Day, etc. It just gives the "stoners" and others a reason to smoke weed on this day.

4/20 is a national pot day because in the past they decided to make april(4) day(20) the national pot day, it's a really retro thing..at our school we didn't get a drug bust but we had a lil grey bus parked infront of the school, pot day is a big thing in my town it's written 4/20 everywhere like literally, but it's nothing bit it just gives a reason to the stoners to do weed

hahaha well our school didnt get checked but a friend told me it was. honestly i think its hilarious. it prolly dates back to the hippie days or somthin. i doubt it has anything with government holidays if u know what i mean. <3
