Q: Well to start off, its hard to admit-but i guess its time i say it anways. I'm most deffinatly a socially awkward person. I mean, i'll have a close net of friends- but everything about me screams awkward. Hahah, all the conversations are so ridiculously awkward i just laugh afterwards, because i completely blew another chance of making a friend. How can i fix this?
Another thing is my lack of emotion. I looked up some things on it,and i feel almost as if i'm empty.(depression?) Theres some pressure on my chest that just makes me feel weird when i breathe,and i daze out all the time. It's gotten so bad i barely have the want to finish this sentance. I just lifeless most of the time,and dont feel like doing anything. I actually mentioned to my mom i thought i was depressed, but she blamed it on the seasons changing. Even though i've felt like this for awhile. The main thing is,i don't know what emotions are really. My mood all the time is just,blank. Boring. Bleak. Most people at this stage would probably feel like they want to just crawl in a hole and die. But not me, no. I want to do dangerous things. Extreme things, like skydiving. The way i see it, if i die, oh well, if i don't-move on to the next extreme thing. I just want to go crazy and do everything. But- i don't have energy. I wish i did, i just can't bring myself to even talk to people that much anymore. Ahh i'm very confused at life at the moment. If you have any advice on this subject i'd much appreciate it, i just want to feel something. How? Rah, hah this is the corniest thing i've written-ever. Thanks for reading,though !

Dude, I agree.. this definitely sounds like me. You'll meet people totally into your "awkwardness", don't worry. Haha I liked reading this. I'd definitely be your friend. That was one of the most honest things I've ever read. I'm sorry you feel this way, I wish I had the solution. There are so many things I wanna do but I'm just way too passive about it all. Do I even care? What's the point of it all? If you focus too much on those you'll go crazy.

What do we truly look like,
Tha mirrors image or the cameras?
I would think

Q: Okay so my mom and i have always had a semi-close relationship. But she just got a facebook... and she wants me to be her friend on it. I have no problem with the fact she got a facebook, but i kind of need my personal space when it comes to these things. I dont want her to read what i say to my friends and such.... its not that they're bad. It's just that i'm really uncomfortable with it. I told her all of this and she's making me feel extremely guilty, and telling me that i'm SUCH a good daughter for not accepting (sarcasm).

I have a solution. Accept her friend request but you know you have the option of letting certain people not see aspects of your profile? You can just make it limited to her but still be her friend. Like, block the pictures/videos/wall/info part, whatever you need to.

i used to cut but recently i've been having urges to do it and i find it hard to ignore them. have any suggestions on how to make the urges stop? i've tried scraping my arm with a pen so it doesnt leave any marks but that doesn't seem to satisfy the urges.

Ideally, you should see a counselor if the urges keep popping up again. At least you are willing to stop, which is the important part, but you can't just substitute another way to inflict pain on yourself because you are perpetuating harm to yourself, just in a different form. It's a vicious cycle that is not doing you any good. This is not exactly the best solution but if you can just cut down little by little each day with something mild and not go "cold turkey" all at once that may help if you can't just switch into doing something else completely and you don't want to seek outside help. Or, carry a stress ball around with you and squeeze the hell out of that ball if you get the urge.

Ok, so I've always had weird skin. My face is SOMEWHAT light, my legs are kind of dark, and my arms are really dark. I wanna even that out a bit. It'd be easy to tan, but I'd rather not get skin cancer, thank you very much, and frankly, dark skin wouldn't work for me. So I want to lighten my skin. I'm kind of a freak when it comes to weird chemicals and stuff, so I don't want to buy any of those bleaching creams or whatever (plus, I don't have the money). Anyone know any NATURAL ways to lighten skin? I've heard of using lemon/milk/potatoes, but I'm not sure how (I'm sure you don't just slather the stuff all over your body).

You can only get as light as the skin you were born with. Like, you can remove a tan but if you were born dark you can't really get lighter than you were originally.
Do not use products with hydroquinone or mercury in them bc that will damage your skin in the long run.
I personally use Shiseido whitening products for my face (they are high quality and a trusted brand) and for my body I use this papaya soap from the Philippines that works but slowly. The brand is Likas.
I've heard rice water or lemon juice works.
