Grandma's Suprise Party

Question Posted Wednesday April 29 2009, 3:49 pm

I'm having a party for my grandma, i want to make a few cd's to play since there are basically no children there. I want it to be fun music. Any ideas?

Yes, play oldies! I am completely in love with the Malt Shop Memories CD Collection of '50s and '60s music. If you could get your hands on it, it'd be perfect. It's 10 CD's but one will probably be satisfactory.

Check it out:

^ If you don't plan on buying the CD's, you could use the playlists as an idea of what songs to download for your mix CD's.

You can listen to any of those songs to see if you like them from [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

Hope it goes well! =]

Just because she's a grandma doesn't mean she'll like country-grandma-music. I don't know her personality, or any of her favorite singers, so I can't really help you. My grandma likes anything from Bruce Springsteen to Elvis Presley.

Ask your grandma what kind of music she likes, since it's her party. If she's like my grandma, she'll probably like oldies music (from the 50's, 60's, & 70's). You can go here to find popular oldies music: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
