Michele answered Thursday April 30 2009, 1:48 pm: If you don't start taking the brown pills you won't get your period. If you started the pills correctly, by starting with the white pill, on the last day of your period, then in 28 days you should be out of white pills, then you start taking the brown. Then you should get your period.
The brown pills have really no use except to keep you in the habit of taking a pill every day.
But you must stop the white to get your period.
So, now you should stop the white, and once you get your period, start the white again on the 5th day, then take 28 white pills, then start the brown, you'll get your period, then on the 5th day, or when the brown pills are gone, start the white again.
I hope this is clear.
