I've never experiences this and hope I never do. Why would you want somebody licking your face? Why would you want to lick theirs?
I guess what I'm trying to get at is that it sounds really gross, and like somebody said below, I associate licking with dogs. I don't want a guy I'm kissing to remind me of a dog.

Wow lol. There is no real meaning behind it except maybe the person thinks it is hot or maybe they get "excited" by it.
In my opinion if a guy liked my face while we made out, I would send him on his way haha :)

Well, if its a little lick it could be cute, and mean that the other person is very comftorable with you, but if he just slobbers your face... ? mh, idk kinda weird ;P but thats just my opinion.
