hang out at your house once in awhile.
I know you would probably much rather be at his
house, but us moms like to see our kiddies once
in a while!
Just switch off your house, his house. Always make sure your chores around the house are done.
Do those things and I bet she will stop freaking out. :)

okay well yesterday i went to the doctors for my check up and they made me pee in a cup ... which they never make me do and she said it was to check for any diseases ( is an HIV/AIDS test done by peeing in a cup?) or could it be a drug test

Urine tests can show many things and problems
you may be having.
It can be tested for diabetes, pregnancy,
infections of many kinds & kidney problems.
To name just a few.
Most doctors offices aren't equipped for drug testing. It isn't something they do routinely.
The office I worked in wouldn't even do them for employee physicals because it was such a hassle. Those have to be packaged up in your presence (at least they used to be) so no one can come back and claim it was tampered with.

i aksed a question that could be answered by yes or no, and then the answerer could have gone into detail about why they said yes or no. if the answerer just said no., and left it at that, what should i rate them? they answered the question and gave an appropriate answer, but could have gone into more detail about why they said yes or no.
also, when like 3 people answer a question, and all say that same exact thing the first person said, what should i rate them? if one person answeres the question and the next two people have the same exact answer, i dont need of the same answers.

I think they should give a reason for why they said yes or no. Its really not that hard to do.
If it was a helpful yes or no, I wouldn't rate it higher than a 3 if they didn't explain themselves.
If they are just repeating or rewording answers given before them, I would rate a 2. You
shouldn't answer a question if you can't add anything new to it. Thats why all answers are
shown on the answer question page. To avoid repeating.
Be sure and check the time they answered though. If the times are real close they could have
posted at the same time, or after they read the answers given.
You can also rate them down if they type using no
capitals and/or punctuation.
Recently a young lady left someone a mean edit because she got a 3. She was thanked for her answer and simply told next time maybe she could use some capital letters. I told her that person had every
right to rate her down. Your rating is your "pay"
for answering a question. If you don't make much
of an effort in answering to make it look nice,
you get minimum wage (rating).
You should also always leave feedback. Be polite
but explain your rating. It is important to tell someone why you liked their answer too. Pay them well. :)

ok so like people always say you cant get STDs if you havent been sexually active unless you were born with them, but like is that really common to be born with STDs or is it rare? if your parents had any are you gaurenteed to have them also? (link)

Its probably not real common to be born with a sexually transmitted disease. It does happen.
If a mother has an STD while pregnant there is a good chance the baby will have it also. Some, like
HIV doesn't show symptoms right away.
I would guess that if a mother has good prenatal care, she will be treated for STDs like herpes
before a baby gets it. The doctors would just
avoid a vaginal birth for one thing.
Others like HIV are not so easy to avoid. I would
hope that the parents would inform their child if
there was a possibility.

Heres the low down.
My mom doesnt live with me and my dad.
He blames everything on me.
He calls me everything in the book.
Uses the word fuck in every sentence.
Calls me worthless piece of shit, little fuck, bitch, bastard, remarked about braces and he said fuck your teeth, says "I'm getting sick of you", "go live with your mom".
He accuses my mom of EVERYTHING.
He says that people break into our houses, just to justify that he's better than my mom.
He apologizes, but it's getting to be worthless sorries. I get it all the time.
He's stubborn and he won't listen to anyone.
He's over protective.
I'm getting sick of it. I mean I can take it.
I've been taking it, but sometimes I want to just run away to friends houses just to get away from all the shit.
What should I do?

Weather he would go to jail or not is iffy.
You could certainly turn him in.
Unless your mother is worse yet,
I would call his bluff and move out
and in with mom. If they arrest him
for abusing you, thats where you will
end up anyway.
Most abusers apologize. Nothing odd
about that.

You can date but no sex acts of any kind.
The youngest age of consent is 16. He would have
to wait at least that long. He might, but its
not real likely.
I know you like the guy, but do you really
want to sneak around for 2 years? If the age
of consent in your state is 18 then you have
to wait 4 years. Long time. Very good chance
you will get your heart broken. Give it serious
thought. :)

That is usually what BOTH newly married couples expect to happen while on their honeymoon. Not
that it is big deal these days since most people
have already been having sex prior to marriage.
Sex is part of marriage. You don't have to
have sex daily, and you can always say no but,
if one partner doesn't like sex then they shouldn't get married.
Of course you don't have to be doing it 24/7.
You do other things as well. :)

I work in the IT Dept of a manufacturing company where I upgrade users' computers. In the process I move their files and email account to the new computer.
On someone I was upgrading recently, I saw an email (it was what their email opened up to) relating to them finding a new job. It was from a friend or relative encouraging the employee to leave us & go to the new employer (where friend now works).
Should I tell my boss, or their boss, or HR? Or just leave it be? (link)

while working on a persons computer.
Just forget you ever saw it. As has been said
people have every right to look for other jobs.
It is not a crime, and you have no way of knowing
if they will take the other job or not. Either
way it should be none of your business. :)

So just recently my camera broke and im going on vacation in 2 weeks...i already sent my camera in to be fixed and it will take longer than 2 weeks to fix.
One of my best friends has offered to let me use her camera. her parents were okay with it. I really want to use it but i feel like i shouldnt becasue its hers and i would feel guilty or something. But she was the one who brought it up and said she wouldnt use it all while i was gone because she rarely uses it now except to take pictures of herself. so should i borrow it? i told her that "if anything happened to it....which it wont...i would buy her a new one with my money." and she was just like okay. what should i do? of your vacation.

All your focus is on the kids.
Thats good, but you aren't getting
enough me and us time!
If you can find a trustworthy babysitter,
or mothers helper if you prefer, have
someone else watch the kids for a couple
of hours a day. If you can't afford that
a couple of days a week would be a big help
too.
During that time you relax and do something
you want to do. Go shopping, get your hair done...spoil yourself a little. You could
also just jump in a bubble bath with a book
you've been wanting to read.
You also need a "date night" with your husband.
Hire a sitter and go out to dinner or a movie.
Spend some time alone together. Send the kids
for an overnight with grandparents and rent
a hotel room!
Most of all, don't feel guilty about it.
You deserve time for yourself and time for
your husband. Happy parents will make for
happier kiddies. :)

I developed a rash from Amoxcillian because I was misdiagnosed & actually had mono, not strep, which caused the rash. I've been put on Prednisone for 7 days. Is there anything I can do to help with this rash? It's really bad & keeps spreading. Also, how common is weight gain with Prednisone? I have an eating disorder & I'm really afraid of gaining weight, but I only have to take it for 7 days. Thanks! (link)

If you have a rash from the amoxicillin and it is getting worse or itching real bad call your doctor
and ask his nurse what you should do.
Most of the time you get a rash they don't really
do much about it. It disappears on its own.
I doubt 7 days of prednisone will do much to make you gain weight. Some people have to take it much longer for other conditions, they are the ones prone to weight gain.
I can't let it pass without saying, if you know you have a eating disorder, get help for it. Now rather than later. :)

Ok so i've been on ortho tri cyclen..for nearly a year..I usually never let my bf cum in me just to be extra careful..but about a week and ahalf ago I let him cum in me twice. I have been very diligent with taking the pill everday, but my only concern is that it hasn't been precisly the same hour everday, sometime's its a one or two hours off from the night before, but still in the same general area. I'm supposed to get my period in the next few days but i still don't feel my usual period syptoms..could it be possible that I am pregnant because the pill was not taken perfectly? you into the habit of taking it everyday. It
makes it easier to remember. Thats all.

You aren't going to be able to talk them into
this. I am surprised you think it is normal that
they would even consider it.
Even if you say you won't be having sex, lets
just say they weren't born yesterday.
My advice is to forget about it and not ask again.
Why? Because if they feel you are rushing this relationship, they could easily forbid you to
see him again.
I know this isn't what you want to hear, but the
truth of it is parents today don't approve of
teens having sex anymore than their parents did.
They usually get stuck raising the consequences. :)

im 14 years old.
and im a female.
and im in LOVE. i know i am. my mom says she wants me to live my life. and ill meet more people in highschool and is happy i feel this way and that im happy but just feels that im not going to be able to live my life. and tells me im too young. but your never too young. i know ill meet more people but i have meet enough people and i am VERYY happy with this guy and i dont want anyone else. i have told him how i feel and he tells me he feels the same way. we have been together for 2 months but have felt this way for 3 years. he hurt me 3 times thats why it took us a long time to try it agian. otherwise we would eb together for at least a year now. my friends know im in love becuase the way i act and how im soo happy and stuff and they are very happy for me but it just seems like my mom isnt but his mom is shes veryyy happy about it always talks bout me and him being together and how shes happy about it and is okay with us feeling this way. my mom just doesnt act like it and i know but my dad doesnt like him but he really isnt supposed to becuase he is my dad and im his little girl. but my mom likes him alot just shes not happy for me. and its just hard to be happy when your mom isnt happy for you. you know? that probably made no sense. sorry. i mean my grandma is. she has told me before i told her i loved him that she wants me to stay with this boy that he is a GREAT guy for me. he treats me like a guy should. i cant explain how i feel its too hard and id probably confuse you. but he is just SOOO amazing. but my mom just cant be happy for me.

14 is a little young for a forever love, but not impossible!
Don't give up on the guy if you care for him. You never know what might happen in the future, so don't

i am having a serious issue with my 20 yr old daughter! she is moving back east to live with her father. i hate this man. he has never done anything except try to beat me out the child support he was ordered to pay. plus when the kids would go to visit him, he only bad mouths me and i can't defend myself against his lies. he was not around to help support them or get them thru school. he also told both the kids that he could have done a better job raising them. they have both graduated high school with honors. my problem is i can no longer stand her. i asked her to stay here with her brother and me and help us financially which would benefit us all. she won't. if she steps on the plane i will not ever talk to her again. i am going to lose my daughter to a messed up alcoholic. i cannot and will not accept this! she had the nerve to send me an e-mail about a going away party. i want to throw up! this will be the biggest mistake of her life! how do i get on with my life? She is a smart girl. You won't lose her to her father. At 20 years old she will make and learn from her mistakes the same as you did.
Do you not remember being 20? As much as she loves you and her brother, living with you and helping you pay the bills is NOT where she wants to be. She wants independence. The biggest attraction to her father is that he is asking nothing of her.
You have to accept the fact that your child is no longer that. She is a grown young lady with dreams
of her own. Don't take this as her deserting you.
Instead see it for what it is. You have raised a
smart and independent daughter who is ready to
take on the world.
She knows you raised her right. She knows her dad
is a loser. But, he is her dad. She will see through his lies. She knows who you are.
Don't let her leave on a sour note. Go to her party and wish her well. You don't have to stay long but put in an appearance. Don't give her dad
ammo to use against you. It will be hard but
you will be okay. She is just getting on with her own life. :)
