A few thoughts I've gathered from my teenage years (and being on this site for most of them!):
1. If you Google song lyrics, the song will come up 99% of the time.
2. Dress to fit your body type, and buy the size that fits. If you're a size 6, squeezing into a 4 won't make you look skinnier. It makes you look fat when you aren't.
3. You will never regret waiting to lose your virginity.
4. There is such a thing as a stupid question, but we're all allowed to ask them.

ok i am doing my myspace all over where do i put a layout in what section and what are some websites with good myspace layouts.

This isent really a question, its more of a statement..Im from Canada, and over here we dont use AOL, which would explain why i dident know what aim was.
Back to my question..it doesnt matter to me, but I was just wondering why some people in here laugh at people when giving answers, I thought this was an advice colum.
So whats the deal with that, i personally dont care, however some people might take offence to it.

I'm guessing you're talking about serious questions and not dumb questions that should get stupider answers. If it's, say, a random weirdos question and its funny, people tend to laugh. If the person gave really good advice, you can tell they're not trying to offend you. ♥

does anyone have any idea where to get a plain guitar pick, but in pearl style?? i need them by at least the 11th of Jan. the latest.

well, I can't give you a specific store because I don't know where you're from, but any guitar store that sells picks (which I'm logically assuming is every one.. lol) should have a pearly one. The one I go to has all different colors of pearl picks, and it's in like, the smallest town ever. You shouldn't have a problem finding one. Or look online, but with shipping you won't get it by the 11th.

my hair is completely recked from straightening my hair everyday. i love to wear my hair straight. so what are absolutely amazing shampoos and conditioners and like soothing milks that i could use to make my hair look unfrizzy soft and silky? and also, fix all my dead ends. please help! i rate 5 just for answering

I've done the same thing. Pantene Pro-V shampoo works wonders, and you don't need to use the damage one to get the benefits. Since your hair is currently frizzy, I'd recommend the *Smooth and Sleek* one, it works great. Before you straighten, put a treatment in (I use pantene Smooth start smoothing leave-in treatent and Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine). Then either blow-dry on medium heat or let your hair air dry before straightening.(whatever works better for your hair). if and when you're willing to get a new straightener, I recommend the Remington Wet2Style (if you're pressed for time or have hair that tends to re-curl, like mine) or the Conair 3/4" ceramic one with variable heat settings (if you straighten your hair when it's dry or always have the time to blowdry it). I've also found that the Wet2Style makes your hair smoother, silkier, and less frizzy (which is exactly what you're going for, right?)

i recently got the verizon saumsung SCH-a850 cell phone with the text messagin plan where it $5 for unlimited. i was wondering if theres anyway to text message someone who doesn't have a verizon phone like if my friend had a cingular phone would i be able to send her a text message? or is there anyway to do that

you can text absolutely anyone, but only Verizon phones will be free. I have the same phone as you (I think) and the same plan, and I get 50 free texts to other companies (sprint, Nextel, Cingular, etc.)along with unlimited Verizon texting. So I'd check your bill, it'll be called your text allowance or something like that (Verizon to Verizon will be called UNLIMITED text). hope I helped ♥

does anyone know any music that isnt very popular (preferable alternative, indie type bands) or even singers that really no one knows about, but you think will hit it big in 2006? im looking for brand new artists that no one really knows of!! thanks a ton!

definitely the strokes.. they're in a ton of magazines now, but I've liked them since last year. if you haven't heard of Panic! at the Disco, they're getting more mainstream.. and I am in love with 30 Seconds To Mars.they're really obscure as far as I know.. Bayside definitely, they're just awesome. and yes, myspace.com is amazing for indie/alternative and you can get free downloads from many bands as well! if you want some more suggestions send me a message! ♥

hm.. I've never seen that before! try right-clicking it and looking for a "close" button. or look under folder tasks, but I'm guessing you already did.. try restarting your computer too I suppose! couldn't hurt! ♥

I have a 2 GB Nano Ipod, and I've been uploading music from CDs onto it. My problem is, that I only have about 49 songs on it and it's almost full! Why is this? Also, if you upload a song from a CD, does it take up more space than a song you upload from, say, Itunes? Thanks!

I have a mini, and I did the exact same thing. I fgured out that it's because of quality level under importing preferences, put it at 128kps. your problem is likely that it's set at a higher quality level and taking up a lot more space.. if that still doesn't seem to work, reset your iPod with iPod Updater, make sure it has the latest software, and re-import all your songs. it shouldn't take that long. If it still doesn't hold more songs than 49, I'd take it back to the store, it could be defective. hope I helped! ♥

my gf lives kinda far away and my dad wont take me to go see her. she cant come over unless shes got another girl friend with her. being that as it may that defeats the purpose. any suggestions on were i could get some time alone. p.s. 14/m and the movies wont work cuz ive alredy tried.

well, how well do you know her parents? they may not want you alone with her because they might not know you that well, and parents worry about their daughters. I know, I'm the same age and my parents are the same way. once her parents know you're a good guy, they'll let you have some time alone.

Is gatorade healthier/better than water?

well it depends on if you're excercising or not. Gatorade has electrolytes (idk if i spelled that right) and water doesnt. If you're exercising a lot it's better to have Gatorade. But water won't kill you, there's nothing wrong with it.

And of course, Gatorade has sugar in it, so if you're diabetic and can't have any sugar, dont drink Gatorade (duh).

Im 15 and I've never had a boyfriend. Im not pretty and Im REALLY shy. Most people at school have never heard me speak before and I cant use the phone because thats how shy I am.
It makes me so sad and jealous when I see couples at school or on TV. There are kids in primary school with boyfriends and I haven't even had one!!
I know that you don't NEED a boyfriend, but I really want one because I feel so lonely and stuff
I like a boy at school and I sit next to him in registration, but I dont talk to him. When he comes and sits next to me he always says my name, like in a funny way, and I smile, but thats it. Also one time in science he and his friends were playing hangman on the board, and he wrote my whole name as the words you had to guess. I dont know if he was making fun of me or what though.

This guy sounds like he really likes you! I'd try talking to him (I know it's hard, but just try!). Get to be friends first, and trust me, once you're good friends with a guy or two its MUCH easier to talk to ones you like!

and don't say you're ugly, ugly people dont exist. and if they do, they're ugly personality-wise :)

If you think positively about yourself, you'll be a lot less shy. =)

ok so there's this guy..and i like him sooooo much! we went out but then like 2 days later he broke up with me..and i thought i was upset but wasnt really until i realized that i really loved him.. because as we started hanging out more and more i liked him more and more each time and when we hang out he can get a little mean.. like he'll say stuff then pretend hes joking..like he's called me a whore and he told me my ceeto's were gonna go straight to my ass..? then out of nowhere decides he wants to hook up with me.. but the other nigh ti i/m him and i told him i didnt like the fact that he says those kinda things to me and he got like really mad and told my friends he hated me and that he never wanted to talk to me or see me ever again and this hurt me soo bad because he told me he would never ever hate me and like the night before he told my friend that he loved me and he told alot of other people he loved me and now i tried talking to him and he wont listen and i told him i was sorry and that i know i screwed everything up and crap.. but he still hasnt answered me.. and no matter how much he hates me..there will always be a little part of me that still loves him and that will never change..how can i just forget about him? how do i stop loving him?

well, it all depends on how serious he was when he was telling you these things and making fun of you. If you know he was kidding, he's probably deserves another chance. But otherwise, I'd just let it go. You don't want to be in a relationship where someone hates you, do you? Think: is he really worth it?
