It's called an ankh if that helps. I'm not sure exactly where you can buy it offline (maybe Hot Topic, Spencers, Claire's, Renaissance fairs, in the city other shops at the mall), but Amazon has these:

All your questions can be answered here:
http://makeupforlife.net/2006/07/how-to-apply-false-lashes.html
http://makeupforlife.net/2006/08/false-lashes-qa.html
http://makeupforlife.net/2009/02/how-to-apply-false-eyelashes-on-the-bottom.html
Basically, they are not that hard to put on once you get used to the procedure. They are tricky at first because the glue can get sticky and everywhere. They are worth it. You should still wear real mascara on both eyelashes, real and fake to make them blend in together and you should curl them too. There are different kinds of false eyelashes, ranging from natural-looking to dramatic ones with feathers and jewels. You can get natural ones and ones you can wear clubbing at any drugstore or beauty store like Ulta or Sally's. If you want those crazy ones, go to Sephora.
If you don't want to apply fake eyelashes daily, there are some good mascara brands:
Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes Mascara
Christian Dior: DiorShow Black Out Waterproof
Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara
Imju Fiberwig Fiberwig
Majolica Majorca Lash Expander
Best mascara base:
Shiseido Mascara Base
Best eyelash curlers:
Shiseido
Shu Uemura

Q: Does anyone know why my parakeets nose might be looking dry. I have 2 and one's nose is nice and pink and the cockatiel's nose is looking pretty pink but a different shad (as it's always been) So do you think maybe she isn't drinking enough water or something or is it too hot? Any ideas? Thank you.

The colorful strip where their nostrils are located are called "ceres" and it is normal for them to shed/peel every once in a while like we shed our skin.
And yes, their nose color changes. Usually, you can't tell the gender of the babies until they mature. Females ceres usually get brown/pink and males violet/blue.

Q: 16 Female
All my life, I've had wavy / straight hair. After blowdrying, I usually straighten it and it only takes one or two minutes. I know that excessive blowdrying and straightening really stress out my hair, so throughout the year, I sleep with wet hair and in the morning it's curly.
Unfortunately, by the end of the day, it's pretty much wavy or even straight. It's really annoying, so I started using John Frieda's Frizzease products to help "define my curls." I was reading in Seventeen about the best mousse and the best spray gel, and I am confused as to which one would:
- Aid my hair in curling up more if i were to sleep on wet hair
- Keep my hair curly throughout the day
- Not create a "crunchy" or "hard" texture on my hair
Which one do you suggest for my hair type: Tresemme Flawless Curls Curl Care Extra Hold Mousse OR Garnier Fructis Style Curl Shaping Spray Gel?

If you can spend the money, Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray is excellent:
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_2p1oMXAzVsM/SIbYorHggWI/AAAAAAAAANI/fb2iVT7-C6s/s400/041108_bumble_400X400.jpg
I think you can only buy it from a salon^ though. Sea salt provides natural, soft waves. You can even braid your hair loosely before you sleep.
To get lasting waves, spray your hair with a heat protection spray like:
Tressemme Heat Protection Spray
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_LvZW2IdyYRA/SUf6RyKKWdI/AAAAAAAABZ8/5Upd1aZc3Js/s400/tresemme-spray.jpg
then use a diffuser like:

Twist each individual lock around your fingers and scrunch away!

I'm not too sure if there's anything you can do about it much. Losing weight overall would help. Wear pants that are not as tight (don't want a camel-toe) or find some way to cover it up. Maybe it is the hair that is the problem, seriously, it works if you shave because sometimes it's what's causing the awful "bulge".

You can get around that by highlighting and contouring your face, making it look slimmer.
Photos "flatten" out a person's face. it's hard to see angles 3-d wise so faces look wide. Pictures can be deceiving.

For example, you can make something cute yourself that's sentimental and won't break the bank. A letter in a bottle is really cute and you can put little candies inside it. Then buy him a model car kit.

Q: I have 18 days left with my boyfriend before I go to college and I don't want to spend every day sitting in his room watching tv. I enjoy those days but when I'm sitting in my dorm remembering my summer I want there to be more than just hanging out and watching tv.
So what are some fun things to do?
We like...
-fishing
-eating/cooking
-making stuff
-he would enjoy anything that has to do with a car
-i like museams and artsy stuff
-taking drives on quiet back roads
-adventures in general
-sightseeing
It seems like we do the same stuff all the time. Fishing and traveling..or traveling to a good fishing spot are a few things that are sort of the break from the ordinary. But we need ideas! We both want to do something that we'll remember and be talking about for a while.
Thanks!

Q: Hi,
I don't know how this is going to sound, but I'll try my best to make it clear.
Basically a guy kissed me the other night and I dont know what happened to me! I completely froze! I mean everything BUT my lips funtioned. I couldn't get myself to kiss back or anything, and I wasn't nervous. When he kissed me, he kinda put his whole mouth over my lips, so could that have been the reason that i didn't have a reaction to him? I mean I like him and everything, but why wouldn't I be able to respond?
I'm confused! Has anyone ever had this happen before?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Hahaha yes this happened to me. It's kind of hard to kiss someone back when your entire mouth is immobilized! He's not supposed to devour your face. I mean, if he were doing it right, you'd know and be able to kiss him too. Or you were frozen in shock and you didn't know it. Next time you'll be prepared.

Q: I wanna know everyones' opinions on age differences in relationships. Mind you, this is out of total curiosity, as a friend of mine and I were discussing this the other day. So I just want to know what you think, like, how big of a difference is too much, and what not.

As long as there are two consenting adults, and I agree that many people would probably say around age 30+ is when the age gap does not matter as much, around 5-10 years difference, maybe even more, because the two will probably have their life in order (career, priorities) and know what they want, and are ready to settle down. Otherwise, for all other age groups, I'd say one or two years, unless it's the 17/18 yrs old mark you gotta be careful about being legal and all that.

Q: In these past 3 days my left boob sometimes hurts and I noticed that it is bigger than the right one (which is normal). I don't think it is due to my period as I got it 19 days ago. My neck and part of my back on the left side also hurt. Could be a muscle strain, a breast cancer or just my left boob is growing?
When I touch both boobs hurt a bit, but only the left one sometimes hurts without touching it.
P.S. I am 20 years old.

I just want to say that you should do breast self-examinations regularly to be safe. That way, you know when there is an irregularity that needs to be checked out. Do you feel a lump? Just wait it out for a week or so, if it's a the muscle strain it will go away, and if it still hurts, go to the doctor. It could be due to a number of things that you mentioned. Good luck.

Q: I do not know what i wrong with me? For the past 2 weeks I have been extremely wet. like the kind a female has when she climaxes or is horny. Idont even be horny or is thinking of sex. it drips down my thighs and is rather uncomfortable and embarrasing. Can a vagina ever be too wet? is it normal? I went to the gyno and he say i am healthy. I just has sex yesterday with my boyfriend, he really enjoyed it but I could not climax. there was no friction. I need help? my boyfriend says its a good thing but i do not think so. How can i "dry up" my vagina. Wiping it doesnt work. it just happens again in 3-5 min again.

You probably have vaginal discharge, which is a normal vaginal secretion. It's your body's way of cleansing itself. It will pass. If the gynecologist said it was healthy, then it probably is. Why didn't he/she explain to you why it was normal? You should wear pantyliners (like thin pads) on a daily basis and carry around feminine wipes to wipe yourself every so often to help combat the problem.

Q: Hey, I have 2 questions.
ONE : Do guys like when girls swallow their cum ? Is that like a turn on or something ?
TWO : If you do decide to swallow, is there any chance of getting prego, or is it a 0 % chance ?
THANKS :)
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
1) A lot of guys actually prefer girls to swallow because it's like the girl is accepting a part of them, you know? But ask your guy for his preference.
2) 0% because only vaginal penetration basically is how you get pregnant.

Q: I have a "weak personality" as my parents have asked me to change. I get bullied and manipulated easily. In a group of friends, I easily turn into a butt of all jokes. I'm easy. I'm too nice, laid-back, and not very confrontational unless pushed too far.
I'm so weak that I even let a bitchy illegal female servant (under the employment of my aunt and the subject of my anger towards myself) boss me around and got me into trouble for 2 years. Until she got what she deserved when she got caught by immigration.
After her arrest last week, I figured it was the last straw for me. During those 2 years I couldn't fight her. She was illegal and under the employ of a relative. If I reported her, she would've backfired and told the police about my aunt on hiring her. My loving aunt could be jailed for that. Oftentimes I've thought of exacting revenge on that bitchy servant. However, I never had the balls to go to the immigration police because the bitchy servant has a deaf-mute son to feed back in her country. I didn't want her son to suffer from my petty anger. But why is it that it's still gnawing at me; I should've known how to stand up for myself.
I always use karma as an excuse to not be confrontational. But why does it feel like I'm wronging myself.
I want to be a bitch, someone who's tough and knows when to be mean. I don't want to be easy.
Whenever I tried being mean and confrontational, I feel guilty and I can't sleep at night knowing I hurt someone's feelings, even if they wronged me first.
How does one become a calloused, mean, bloodsucking bitch?
Does it mean that just because someone is nice and non-confrontational, then that person is a doormat?
*I apologize for the adjectives I used. I'm just angry today. :(

Standing up for yourself does not make you a "bitch". Having to say no to people and take action is all a part of growing up. It's not like you do so-called "mean things" purpose just to spite her. You are worried for your aunt. There is no malicious intent behind your actions. It's not doing anyone any favors to just sit on the sidelines of your own life, watching it pass by if you don't speak up. If you think about it, every situation is basically a compromise anyway. Someone is bound to reap more of the benefits than the other. It's a good thing for you to realize now. You need to "man up", so to speak, to get the most out of your life.

Q: Here's how I see it; humans are evil. (I know vampires do not exist, but I like them anyway) Vampires kill humans to eat. Humans kill cows, goats, sheep, pigs to eat. If vampires are evil, then so are humans. And wolves because they ate that wild boar (or whatever they eat). And snakes for eating that mouse. And sharks for eating that fish.
Humans are a lot more evil because you don't see vampires (in ANY book {besides Nightworld, no not even that...}) raising humans for food, but you see HUMANS raising COWS and PIGS for food.
Yes, I do like animals, but humans also kill each other. Humans are destroying the pl anent. We aren't going to have any more vegetation in the future, however near that may be.
Sure, there are some evil vampys in books and movies who want to take over the world or destroy it, but there are also humans who are evil too.
So, are vampires evil?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Razhie is right.
To further expand upon her comments:
First of all, define "evil". Also, for that matter, define "good". Evil is relative, not an absolute. And evil on what standards? Morals and ethics are man-made. Everyone has their own individual criteria for drawing the line between good and evil. Whether you think something is evil or not is your own opinion. It is what the majority (society) dictates to be supposedly "right" or "wrong", not that the majority is is always right in all cases, but that's another argument for another time.
You say that humans are evil. By that argument, you are also calling yourself evil. All organisms need to eat to survive. Are you arguing with the very basis of life? It is just the way that we organisms are created. We either eat or be eaten. The meaning of life is to reproduce and it cannot be done without involving the sacrifice of one life in order to sustain another's. Not pretty, but nothing you can do about it. Do you suggest we go against life's plan and just stop eating everything altogether so we wouldn't be given a label that we created ourselves? That would mean the destruction of all civilization.
Yeah, we are omnivorous, but that fact alone does not mean we are evil. We eat plants too. So what do you think about vegetarians and vegans? Are plants not alive? There is no hierarchy of life forms. Not one living creature is better than another. Plants are living too. You neglected to mention them. Plus, if you think about it, plants are the ones who get it the worst. They have an even lesser chance of fighting back than animals. Moreover, animals eat plants and other animals too. Does that make them evil? It's the cycle of life and has been ever since the first life form came into existence. Okay, humans raise animals to eat, but they wait for the animals to grow up first. The animals are given a life before becoming food, not that that justifies the means.
If you're wondering, no one is an expert on vampires, which are fictional. Notwithstanding, I would think that vampires would have a harder time in controlling themselves from sucking a person's blood. That's probably why they cannot "raise" humans for food. They might just drink the blood of babies from the get-go since humans have a longer lifespan and it takes too long to wait for them to grow up and mature. And just because a vampire's lifestyle requires bloodsucking does not necessarily make them evil. If they were killing just for fun, for the hell of it like it's some kind of sport instead of for food, then, that, by humanity's standards, would be considered evil.. for that matter, humans hunting for sport is not very good in itself either.
Humans are the ones who pollute the planet, true. But there are also humans trying to save it at the same time. Nothing is as black and white as it seems. No one is completely evil or completely good. There is both good AND evil in all of us. You can't make a sweeping generalization and say that everyone is the same and ALL 100% evil. Take Twilight, for example. The Cullens only drink the blood of animals and abstain from human blood because they do not feel that it is right and it is the best they can do. They only drink to have their fill. They are not gluttons who drink to excess and waste any remains. They don't feel any joy for doing so.
There are good and bad humans and vampires and there are those in-between. You keep rating everyone the lowest score of 1. What are you really asking here?
