i need to learn italian, im going to rome during spring break most likely. i speak french, not fluently but enough that the french can understand me. from learning french i can read some italian but i cant understand it if someone speaks to me. since i know french will that help with learning italian? also what is a really really good book or book on tape so i can learn italian?
sk8rgurl answered Thursday September 13 2007, 4:33 pm: I speak italian and french. And yes french will most likley help you with italian they can be similar in some ways. My little sister is learning for the first time and she uses FSI fast italian c.d roms. There pretty helpful
