An "interesting" kiss?

Question Posted Sunday August 2 2009, 11:20 pm

Hi,
I don't know how this is going to sound, but I'll try my best to make it clear.

Basically a guy kissed me the other night and I dont know what happened to me! I completely froze! I mean everything BUT my lips funtioned. I couldn't get myself to kiss back or anything, and I wasn't nervous. When he kissed me, he kinda put his whole mouth over my lips, so could that have been the reason that i didn't have a reaction to him? I mean I like him and everything, but why wouldn't I be able to respond?

I'm confused! Has anyone ever had this happen before?

Hahaha yes this happened to me. It's kind of hard to kiss someone back when your entire mouth is immobilized! He's not supposed to devour your face. I mean, if he were doing it right, you'd know and be able to kiss him too. Or you were frozen in shock and you didn't know it. Next time you'll be prepared.

I'd say you were surprised by it more than anything else. Take the initiative and kiss HIM first next time, so he doesn't have a chance to put his whole mouth over your lips again ;]

It also could have been that you really like him and froze from the shock of it. I noticed the first time I kissed my boyfriend, it was so different from what I was used to before (but still wicked awesome). Like not in a bad way, it's just really different. So freezing up might have been your body's natural reaction.

Ha, don't worry I've had that happen to me. A guy kissed me and I just didn't react then the whole way home I couldn't figure out why. For me, I realized I wasn't into him and I guess subconsciously I was holding myself back from kissing him.

However for you, maybe you didn't think you were nervous but deep down you had some nerves and that paired with his whole mouth over your lips stopped you from reacting. Give it another shot--go for it! :)
