hey well i got my period in the middle of march (it was my first one) and i still haven't got another one! is there anythin wrong with me? i know it usually takes a while, but does it take this long? plz help
Hey, don't worry! This is totally normal..it may even skip for up to 6 months or maybe more..and during your first 2 years, your cycle isn't going to be even..plus, you wouldn't want it anyway right? I know you're probably stressing over this..but don't because it's totally normal..don't even think about it or else it'll stress you out and delay it even more. Good luck!

I wrote in about a month ago, asking for advice about a friend of mine that treated me badly (called me names, made me look stupid in front of others, etc). I finally confronted her about it, so now we don't talk anymore. I'm so much happier; but now I have a few more problems...
1) She always stares at me! And when I walk down the hallway (and she's in a classroom), she is always by the door (like she's waiting for me), but she never talks, she just stares. Is that normal, because it sort of freaks me out.
2) I REALLY want to go to a camp, but she might be going too, and I really don't want to run into her (because then she'd beg for forgiveness, and I don't think that she would change, which is why I didn't give her a second chance in the first place). Should I go or not, and why?

Haha I've been through this before! She's JEALOUS! She's thinking about you and she misses you! She wants you back! She always took you for granted, but now that you're gone, she realizes that she's nothing with out you! (Trust me..I KNOW IT!) About camp, GO!! Have a great time without her...she'll be super jealous! That'll be the payback she deserves because she use to treat you like that! go go go..and have TONS of FUN!

OMG no it is totally normal..Like I've seen people on tv that didn't get their first kiss until late 20's!! AHH..but yeah nothing's wrong! Use like a lightweight lotion. I use Vaseline. (the lotion, not the ointment!) It works really good..Or just go for some of those good smelling ones form Victoria Secret..or dry Dessert (by Jessica Simpon)..It's fluffy and delightful! Hope I helped!

Umm If I were you, I would wear a cute mini skirt with a nice tank top...Something flirty and fun, yet not too casual. Or you can just wear a cute top with a pair of nice jeans! Just don't over do it! Hope I helped!
we'll call her leslie...we used to be best friends, until this year, i made a ton of new friends(being involved in a lot of stuff helps) and well she doesnt get involved in anything, and she complains about people all the time and talks trash about people, and is obsessed with really retarded things, like TPing is like her favorite thing and she keeps asking me to go TPing or spray painting with her, and well shes kinda childish...we're both 16 but im the only one who has the liscense and if we hang out i always have to drive and gas is really expensive, and overall shes just really annoying. how should i let her know that we're not really best friends anymore?
Slowly drift away. It won't be easy..but it will be worthwhile in the end. Hang out with your friends who aren't annoying. She'll get the message when she realizes you don't want to talk to her anymore..yeah, it may be harsh..but there's no gentle way to put this...and yeah TPing is kind of childish..maybe she'll learn to grow up when she isn't depending on someone else anymore..and yeah gas is really expensive..you don't have to waste your money for someone you don't really want to hang out with..hope i helped..

Ok my parents have been divorced my whole life I don't even know who my dad is. Well my mom has serious problems with finding guys. They usually beat her or cheat on her. I've had about a dozen stepfathers and all of them treat her like shit and she doesn't deserve that. Well my newest stepfather Richie has been with my mother for 2 years now and she is really happy with him. I've never seen my mom this happy before. He is soo nice to her. But the thing is he has a son (my stepbrother) who is constantly hitting me and raping me. I tried talking to my mom about it and she said that she would talk to my stepdad and my stepbrother. She did and then it stopped for a little while but then he did it again and it was even worse than it was before. He had a couple of his friends over and they thought that it would be fun to beat and rape his 14 year old step sister. I talked to my stepdad and he told me to stop making things up. He told my mother that I was making things up and they sent me to a shrink. Needless to say my stepbrother continued to do these things to me. I confronted my mother again and she told me to talk to my stepdad. I did and he told me that I was lying and that even if I wasn't I needed to get over it because we are a happy family and we all have to make sacrifices I told him that that was wrong and he hit me! Now he's been hitting me too when my mom isn't around. I don't know what to do. She is soo happy and she deserves to be. I don't want to ruin this for her. My question is should I just deal with this so that she can be happy or is there anyway that I can get help without ruining this for her?
OMGGGG No, you don't have to sacrifice YOUR happiness for someone else..I mean, I understand your mother is happy..but I don't think that she would be if she knew what was going on..All you need is proof..somehow convice your mother that this is actually happening..or tell someone like a counselor at your school..He is NOT SUPPOSE TO BE RAPING YOU..It's wrong. You need to get serious help right away because what if you end up pregnant or something??? If he tries to rape you again, fight back..all guys have a weakness area..seriously..do not let him rape you!!! Now, about your step-dad, it's very wrong for him to beat you...catch him on tape or something...tell the police..he can go to jail for abuse. As for your mother, she is probably denying the truth because she doesn't want to believe it. MAKE HER. Tell someone you can trust about this. You need to get help. okay so my hair is black and i wanted to die it brown but whichever product i tried didnt work out.. only my roots turned out medium brown and then once it gets towards my tips.. it starts to fade into black. but what am i doing wrong?

why is it that when i'm at school, i sweat alot alot under the arms, and when i'm at home, i don't sweat at all under the arms? i cud try any deoderant and reapply and reapply over and over again at school but it never ever works when i'm at school, yet when i'm at home, i barely ever sweat or it doesn't show on my shirts err ya.. well please tell me why that is so i can try to fix my problem of sweating so much that there are sweat circles under my armpits so i don't hafta wear layers and layers of clothing anymore, thanks
Umm...that may be the problem..If your wearing layers and layers of clothes, it must be really HOT up there..try wearing looser clothing? Also, make sure you have anti-persperant deorant..I use Dove..it works great! good luck!
Ok my hair just always feels so... i dont know like not as nice. Like everyone elses hair is so shiny and like reflects the sunlight. Its just so silky. Mine just feels more yucky i guess. Mine isnt like that. ugh. DOes anyone have any good suggestions like good conditioners or anything? THANKS SOOO MUCH!! I really need help! Ps. I take a shower every day if that helps
Ok this is what i do: I bought this purple bottle called catwalk at trade secret/tony&guy..it was like like $15 dollars but totally worth it!!! It made my hair 10 times stronger and got rid of split ends..and everyone like commented on how my hair was so soft and shiny! But if you're not willing to spend that much, then go to target or walmart or something..i'm sure they have like special serums to help..(ex: Aussie..i heard that makes your hair super soft!) hope i helped!
I'm new this year at my private school, and it's really strict! I mean, REALLY strict. Anyway, every year they have a picnic at the park, with water balloons and good food. (Finally! A time to dress casual at school!) but I just found out that girls have to wear skirts...at a picnic?! I don't know what to wear when I go, and how I can stay comfortable and look good too. It also has to be something I can get dirty because we're gonna have water guns and stuff. If you have a sollution on where to shop, thanks!

Ok if you want good makeup for an average price, go to like walmart or something..get covergirl or loreal..there's lots more!! *i suggest waterproof* If you're willing to spend, go to like sephora (if you have one there) or like a department store or something..get brands like mac, christian dior (that's what i use!), urban decay, hard candy, tony and tina..Also, makeup usually fades by 11:30 anyway..all I do is reapply..:-d hope i helped!

My mom was born in a foreign country, and their thoughts on things are a LOT diffent from the United States, and her thoughts are LOTS different than what I want to do. For example, she refuses to let me date, so I have to keep all my feelings for boys bottled up in my diary. She doesn't let me wear shorts (only capris) in the summer, so I end up burning up in my classrooms. I really need to tell her that these things might not be allowed where she grew up, but I don't live where she lives, and I need to have a LIFE! How can I tell her?
I totally understand where you're coming from! My mom used to NEVER let me wear short skirts,shorts, etcccc...(she still doesn't approve of it..but she doesn't say anything about it..) Tell her that things here in America are wayy different than in her foreign country..don't be mean though..Start out small and give reasons why you should be able to do that..she can't hold on to you forever..Also, you may take this advice and try it out on her..and she may not agree at first..but I have a feeling things will work out for you..Hope I helped! I've been trying to be a good singer lately. I went for lessons but they did absolutely nothing. I've been singing everyday after school for the past 3-4 years. It's the only time I can because I get embarassed. We had a school musical and when I had to sing to tryout, I choked. But before that, I sang for this girl that wanted to hear me and we both agreed I did good. So bottom line: How can I become a better singer and get over being afraid.
Oh wow..you're just like me! I loveeeee singing and it's just feels amazing to do it!! ummm maybe you should do choir or something..that will open you up more..I also practice singing in the shower!..(haha who doesn't?) Also, try to get over your fears because everyone thinks you're really good, right?--There's nothing to be afraid of! Just relax, take a deep breath, and sing your heart out!
