Ok if you want good makeup for an average price, go to like walmart or something..get covergirl or loreal..there's lots more!! *i suggest waterproof* If you're willing to spend, go to like sephora (if you have one there) or like a department store or something..get brands like mac, christian dior (that's what i use!), urban decay, hard candy, tony and tina..Also, makeup usually fades by 11:30 anyway..all I do is reapply..:-d hope i helped!

The best thing I have found to get eyeshadow to stay is MAC paints, it can be worn alone or under powder eyeshadow, its great. Its a creme to powder formula and comes in many colors or a skin/tint-ish color.

As far as getting foundation/powder to say Id say just keep looking around for a better brand. In most instences, you get what you pay for so if you go with a higher end brand its usually worth it. You can check out www.makeupalley.com for reviews of products before you buy them (hair care, makeup & skincare) its great so you know what others think before you go and splurge on it.

As faR as foundation goes, I use 'CoveRgiRl's' "clean makeup FRAGRANCE FREE NON PARFUME 30ml" bottle. It glides on smoothly, lasts all day long, and comes in *many* diffeRent shades, so you'Re bound to find a coloR that's peRfect foR you. HeRe's a tip: to get youR eyeshadow to last alllllllllll day, put some body lotion, oR PetRoleum Jelly on fiRst, THEN apply the shadow. When it comes to eyelineR... I think the two veRy best bRands of out theRe aRe "MeRyl NoRman" and "Beautique". "MeRyl NoRman", which can only be puRchased at "The MeRyl NoRman Cosmetic Studios", is pRicey [typically $8.50 - $15.00], but it REALLY IS good stuff. It goes on wondeRfully, and stays on all day!!! On the otheR hand... I happen to think that "Beautique" is INCREDIBLE, howeveR, I've ONLY seen "Beautique" at "Sally's Beauty Supplies". And "Beautique" is only .99 cents. TRUST ME.. I would NEVER EVER EVER buy cRap make up!!! I get *ONLY* the *BEST*, so please, please, please, please *DON'T* let this dollaR pRice thRow you off - you'd be cheating youRself out of the *BEST* pRoduct out theRe!! I'd PREFER "Beautique" out of ANY otheR bRand of eyelineR!! I could easily go out and buy a $15.00 pencil, but I'd RATHER get "Beautique"! "Beautique" glides on smoothly and REALLY LASTS ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL DAY!!! I simply *CAN NOT* pRomote this item enough!! And if you still have doubts... foR only .99 cents.. it's woRth a shot!! Goodluck!! I hope I helped!! =D

well ill give you my situation that you might be able to relate to: my school doesnt allow make up or handbags during the day so you cant really touch up. so try using a powder foundation which usually lasts, water proof mascara and maybelline unstopable eye liner or just something water/sweat proof. try and everlast lipcolor by cover girl. hope this helps! <3

Hey! Makeup fading is pretty normal but here are longer lasting ones:

Neutrogena Foundation/Coverup : Get the one with the benzol peroxide in it, it won't clog pores, it prevents pimples. Works amazing and works long.

Lancome Juicy Tubes lipgloss
or
Tutti Dolce from Bath and Body Works:
works great, you should reapply after lunch for a freshened up look =]

Eyeliner and Mascara : I love the NYC brand, it's cheap and lasts super long. For the mascara, get waterproof. I normally don't wear it alot though =] but it is a great brand.

Blush : Not sure if you use it, but don't. It takes away from the foundation and if too much it looks like a clown, if too little looks weird.

Lip Balm : It acts as a lipgloss, seriously, the lip balms sold at Bath and Body Works. Amazing.

I think I've covered it all, but if you have any other questions, don't hesistate to ask me! Hope I've Helped ♥

xcaseyx answered Friday April 29 2005, 12:34 pm:
i know that if you put foundation on your eyelids then the eye shadow that makes it last longer .. and try sweatproof or water proof eyeliner and also after you put the foundation on you put pressed powder over it [this is what i do] and it works really well also to keep lipstick and/or gloss on you put foundation on your lips first [sounds gross i know haha but i heard it works thats what the professionals do] hope i helped
