Hello!!
My name is Hannah, I live in Dallas, Tx, and I am a senior in High School!

I play Varsity Tennis, and absooulty lovee to read!! I love my freinds...I couldnt live with out them! People call me an "open book" because hiding my emotions is not my strong suit. When i get out of college I plan to travel the world. My first destination is Africa. I want to help people with any means i have, to make an impact on just one life would be worth the effort.

Life brings unexpected turns and events that can impact you in various ways. "Life is unfair" However, you make your own choices and only you have total control over your life. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

My parents got divorced when i was 4 and ever since have never had a peaceful relationship, soo that makes me stuck in the middle, at times it can be frusterating, and depressing, however i hope that the end result has had a optimistic impact on my character, for example i belive it has made me more mature and able to look upon a situation with confidence.

I charish every moment of life, which might sound a bit cliche ;however, in what i have experenced if you view the glass half FULL then lifes curve balls and mistakes will effect you on a lesser scale.

Okay so my bestfriend just kissed one
of my really close i liked guy friends,
and she was telling me what happened.
Well i was also talking to the guy she kissed
on myspace and told him that she said that
there dating and he was like well where not
and then i was like well you need to tell you
that you guys arent.Then i asked why not and
he said because he likes me and i also liked him
for a very long time but his bestfriend also
likes me who i used to like to and he thought
i liked him thats why he never flirted with me
before,but he said he wanted to secretly date
sense we will get so many people mad,but i dont want to secretly date anyone but i also really like him.What should i do about my bestfriend that thinks shes dating him and about me and him dating?

I am VERY self-conscious. For example, I don't like to eat infront of anybody(except my family). I don't eat lunch at school, because I don't like people around me watching me eat.

I'm a chunky kid, and I don't eat very much. But I know when i eat i can just mentally picture everyone saying, "Omg, ew, she's so fat. She should be eating those chips!" And the reality is, I KNOW that the people i sit with wouldn't say that. But at that moment, I still feel like they are.

Is there anything I can do to overcome my self esteem problem?

And don't say, "Just get over it." Because that won't work.

Your freinds should not judge you like that if they are real freinds, though i can understand what you mean.

A way to overcome that self-consciousness could be to bring vegitables and fruit to lunch and eat them....therefore you can get some nutrients into your body, and eat something in front of your friends.....to help you feel better about it there is nothing unnutritional about them soo no one can judge you by eating them.
Then slowly you can work your way up to other food items....maybe rice cakes, crakers, salad, ect. Finally you can chose other maybe more satisfying items that are also good for you...all the while you are working on your fitness as well as your consiousness! :)

It really isnt good for you to not eat lunch or skip a meal, in fact i think its better to instead eat more times during the day but in lesser portions. When people skip meals they generally tend to eat more the next meal they eat which doesnt help them as they think it is.

I hope you consider the idea. Your freinds wont judge you however it isnt good to not eat, and eating healther food items will help your selfconsiousness and health :)

Twilight. It's about vampires ( I know sounds

i check out the book "twilight" by stephenie meyer.. its about a girl falling in love with a vampire. if anyones read it that can help. i feel like i am inlove with edward. i know its weird but i get so happy when something good happens in the book and when something wrong happens it ruins my day. i feel like the life is sucked out of me when i am not reading it. whats wrong with me?

Twilight is a wonderful book!
IT is perfectly normal to be Obsessed with Edward....I am...and probably everyone else that has read the book!!! I have read it about a million times along with the other two!!!

I know i am a little late on answering this question but i couldnt resist....this book is amazing!!!! Dont feel bad if you seem to get carried away with the plot...that is part of reading

So I really love reading. :). My favorite books are New Moon and Twilight by Stephanie Meyer, and I was wondering if there were any other books like that that I'd be able to read.
I'd preffer the books to be about vampires, but I also love love stories, lol. Actually, I'll read anything if there's a love story part of it; I thnk that's what I like so much about Twilight and New Moon.

I've already read Kissing Coffins, Vampire Kisses, and Vampirates, lol.

I'll read in any age group, as long as it's not like, really girly girl young adult kinda stuff.

It is sligtly worse to eat at night latter than 9 b/c when you sleep you do not burn anything off....especially carbs and sweets.

Fruit, Vegitables, and popcicles are great to snack on at night when you just want to eat something!!

Some of my favorites are celery b/c you chew it for a while and it makes you think you have eaten more than you have. Cabage is also good. Carrots are very good for you health especially your eyes. And popcicles are great all the time!! :) Hope i helped!

i'm going to be a junior this year, and in my schedule i have two ap classes: AP Psychology and AP US History. the thing is, i only signed up for AP Psychology and regular US History, NOT AP US History. i don't know whether i should switch out of that class or not. i'm scared about the workload and i'm not even that great in history. i took AP World History last year, and i only got a 3 on the AP exam. so i don't know if AP US is going to be the same, but i don't think i can handle having 2 AP classes while studying for the SAT's.

what should i do? i know it's better to have more AP classes, but i'm not sure if i can handle all the work. should i switch out to regular US History?

Junior year is very stressful, you have competion in rank, and preparing for the SAT....AP Classes will be more demanding but at the end of the year and senior year you will be extreamly happy you put the effort into it this year!

I think you should definatly take AP U.S. History, I took it last year and it is easy---Though i belive it is less intersting than AP World History which i got a 3 on also. You can do it...as long as you pay attention and study especially at the end of the year youll be fine :)

Just remember not to mix up the two Roosevelts......That was the major essay on my test and i blew it!! haha

AP Classes help your rank points, i took 5 AP's last year and my rank ended up being really good at the end of the year, soo it was worth the work after all! Just try your best and you will be fine :)

Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold is a very sad book but also very intersting, It will start off with a horrible incident then continue to illustrate the effects on all characters including the victom. I think you will enjoy this book, it is a fun, easy read.

To "Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee of course is very sad, you probably have already read it, but in case you havent you might want to check it out. The story occurs during the Great Depression era so the language can be tricky, however, i think it is definatly worth it! This book is definatly a good book for someone in middle school and everyone.

I am not familiar with certain books boys might enjoy, though maybe "A Separate Piece" by John Knowles. It is about teenage boys during ww2 and their relationships, opinions, and feelings about the economy and the issue of being drafted. Its major themes are innocence and guilt. I read this book as a sophmore however it is very short and it goes by fast.

The container store surprisingly has some super cute accesories to go in your dorm that will be extremely convient for both you and your rommie! Also a store called Urban Outfitters has some really cute stuff to add too your room especially the throws and sheets! There is this magazine called pbteen wich also has nice furniture and decorations that will make your roomate love you. Good luck have a fun time!

okayyy...for some reason when i was reading stephenie meyer's "eclipse" i got SO confused!!! i'm confused on what exactly jaspers story was and the whole thing about him fighting...??and i'm confused about almost the entire middle of the book, like when they're going to go out and find whoever snuck into bella's room or something. and i don't get why the volturi are involved and why theres so much talk about them...i'm just SOOO confused!!! i need like a who summary of the middle of the book or somethinggg...

This is one of my favorite series! Edward is just amazing i cannot express to you how wonderful these books are!

Have you read the other two books twilight and new moon if not then it will help you understand the plot better...and plus the first is just thrilling!

Eclipse starts out with bella and edward about to graduate, in this book the main issue is that bella must choose between her realationship between each jacob her best friend (and werewolf) and edward her love of eternity (and vampire) , and decide which is more important...which can she not live with out? Werewolves and vampires are mortal enemys and therefore the two most important people in her life can never interact civially.

Jasper edwards adopted brother, lived during the civil war i belive, and while on duty he met two young vampires and one that was more experienced her name was Maria. She bit him b/c she could feel that he had an extra charisma about him and wanted him to join forces with her to take over the texas area specifacally dallas and houstin. After years of protecting their hunting territory and constantly making newborn vampires as thier army...jasper met one newborn that uncharacateristially lived longer than the average lifespan of one year his name was Peter....this man was in love with another newborn named charlott and ran away from the vampire militia that maria and jasper had built. 5 years later peter came back for jasper and explained a differnet life style vampires could live and convinced jasper to leave , after a few years later jasper left peter and charlott and began to kill again, however he soon met Alice(edwards other "adopted" sybling) and she told him that she had a vision of him and had been waiting for him to find her, then she convinced him to visit the Cullen family and view thier alternative life style as vegitarian vampires. They joined the family that included Carlisle, Edward, Esme, and Rosale.

The Volturi compse of the oldest and most powerful vampires in exixtance....they are essencially the vampire police....they enforce the rules upon the other vampires of the world, their main rule is to not let humans know of thier existance, if a newborn or anyother vampire fails to follow then they are punished (jane is one of the enforcers). New Mood explains this in detail.

Victoria the previous year lost her mate James, that was determind to kill bella, however well...i dont want to ruin twilight for you soo in synopsis she is seeking revenge.
The vampire that entered bella's room (Riley) was Vicotorias "companion", though was only viewd as a tool by Vicotoria, her true mate was gone and could never be replaced, that is why she is determined to kill bella to make edward feel her pain that she felt in twilight. Riley was in bellas room to gather objects that contained her scent soo he could give the newborns that the two created as a reflection of the previous vampire armys used to protect territory though these were given bella as a target. Riley being more mature and composed compared to the new borns made him crucial to victorias plan for him to retrieve the objects with out being tempted by thurst.
