Hey Everyone :) I'm Kate and a level 2 mod on here. I've had this account since July 2004, so I've been on here since I was 13! Wow ... crazy for me to think how long ago that was. I will admit I don't check in as often as I once did, but being away at college, being in a sorority, and having a job when I'm not at school is very time consuming. I still try to help out as much as possible, and if you send me a question I WILL answer it. my boyfriend is always hangin out with kids who are 2 or more years younger than us. his friends are kind of immature...so they are always comin up to me sayin.....oooo have u kissed him...oo hes gonna dump you...adn all that sorta stuff its really annoying i know that they are joking but... i mean if they are his freinds why would they say that he was gonna dump me. its not like he spends way more time with me than them, bcuz he doesnt...its the other way around...

Hey. I thank everyone in advance. I'm an advice columnist on here, but I need advice.

Here's my problem:
I used to be BEST FRIENDS with this girl, Nicole. We used to do everything together - camping, swimming, movies, ext. About 8 months ago - we got in a huge fight, and ended our friendship. It was entirely my fault. About 4 months ago - we started talking again. She said she forgave me, and that we could still be friends. Since then - we've talked about 10 times. The problem is: I really miss her being around. Everyone in my family says they want her and I to be friends again. What should I do? Do I call her, or IM her more? Or should I just forget about it? I have more friends, but I really miss her. Thanks for all advice. I'll rate.

if u truly miss her, talk to her on IM, ask her if she wants to hang or go shoppin like u've done in the good ol days (if u've dun that b4)

tell her that u miss hangin wit her

if she blows u off, then she's not worth it
if she hangs wit u, then u'll start to get closer how u used to be, tell her that u miss your old friendship, and u wanna work things out so u can be as close as u were a year ago

only do it if it's to please your self, your a perfect size

plus it's REALLY EXPENSIVE, your 18, u have your WHOLE life ahead of you, if u want to get implants do it for yourslef, not for him, remember terrible things could happen

my friend justin, well his mom got implants, and now they're lopsided, one of the jelly things popped, and now it's gunna cost her $5,000 just to fill it back up, and fix it

even if u were to get implants, wut are u gunna get, DD's are too big, u'll get stretch marks and hurt ur back, unless ur gunna get like a c34 or sumthin there isn't much of a point, don't do it to please him, u mite not even end up with him

you could, cut die or highlight your hair
or if u have bangs, grow them out, strait hair is sorta in, so if u have wavy hair, you could get a straightener, i got one that works good for about $15, it was an after X-mas sale tho

clothing wise, it depends
are u normal weight
underweight or overweight

if ur normal, then by nive cute fitin clothes, like, if ur into stripes, u can get horizontal(make u look wide, but also make u look like u have big boobs lol) or vertical(makes u look skinny)vertical also works if ur overweight

u can get cute skirts, or cute shorts

and when u get jeans, get one's that have cool lookin belts, u won't just get boys u'll get lotsa friends that wanna kno where u shop

if ur on a tite budget, then places like goody's and sears also have sum nice clothes

around here khols is havin a HUGE sale, well idk if their still havin a sale, but they were

even wal-mart has sum okay shirts(i don't buy wal-mart jeans or shorts, i don't like them)

but if u have a goody's near u, that place has nice clothes

if u aren't on a tite budget, then Hot Topic, Khols, JC Pennies, Belk, Any department store
Any mall near u, and sum people would say the 'punk' look is in!!

when they see that u r not such a bad guy then they won't mind, just be yourself, and be respectful of their wishes

This is not so much a request for advice as an asking for feedback on a random gripe...
I've only recently noticed, after years of what seems now to have been denial, that most everyone loves being unhappy, simply because it is the easiest and most familiar way to exist. After several attempts at being a good friend to many people, it is apparent that my helpful thoughts are shunned, and my existence ignored should they find any reason to be angry at the world. After speaking with a close friend of mine on this subject, their reply to my disgust was 'No Shit, people hate the truth and happiness, because they know that these things are better than what they have always had, and will most probably ever have.’
This upsets me greatly, because it has always been my policy of sorts to tell the truth and be as helpful as possible...Though I noticed as a child that even my mother gave me strange looks for this.
My question is: has anyone else recieved hatred in return for honest attempts at being helpful, or something similar?
I feel as though I've been blindsided by this concept, it is extremely confusing.

when i was in 4th grade my dad came to my school and told me he was leaving forever. My dad is a very abusive person and threatend a lot of stuff on my family. Its been 5 years and hes back. My mom is afraid she wont meet any guys again. So my dad is living at my house and he yells at me a lot when my moms not home. Im scared of him bcuz he might still be abusive. My mom doesnt understand and i dotn know what to do. i get in a fight with him every day. Please help.

well in 2 or 3 weeks when skool starts up again, unless u live sumwhere like up north when it starts in september, then go see ur skool counsiler
tell her your afraid to be at home because your dad is abusive, or your scared that he mite pick up his old ways and beat you or sumthin like that

or you can call up a grand parent or an aunt and/or uncle and see if u can stay with them

or if u have friends that would let u stay
(i have friends that have stayed with other friends for yrs at a tyme)
