I don't want to go to the funeral, but "it's not my decision

Yeah, my granmother just died, we're having a funeral for her on saturday, and I don't want to be there. My dad says "Its not your decision to make" does anyone have some persuasion techniques? Or have you ever heard of a way to convince someone to do something your way?
I don't want to go. What' sthe best way to say it so I get to stay??

Boyfriend just dumped for no reason

Well how to make a long story short? OK first.. Yesterday was my boyfriend’s birthday, all his friends including me and my best friend went out for drinks to celebrate with him. When my best friend (it’s a girl) left for a different club, I went after her, because she was a bit tipsy and I didn’t want her to be on her own.
Then when my boyfriend arrived, he came up to me and just told me that I picked my friend over him and that it is over (he stated it MUCH worse). Yeah I know it was his Birthday, but he was busy with his friends. Should I just let it go? I mean how insecure can someone be if they are jealous of you friend???

It's kinda annoying about my younger sister.(We have an age gap of seven years) Back when I was her age, our family didnt have that much money. And I only attented a decent school that's close to our rented house.When I was in nursery and kindergarten,I had to use a trycicle to get to school. When my sister was born, we moved to a new house--that we owned. And we earned a lot more money too.This year,my sister started kindergarten. And she's enrolled to a big private chinese school.(we're part chinese)And her classes start in the afternoon!When I was in kindergarten.I had to wake up earlier before the sun does!And now that we can afford a car,my family can just take her and pick her up from school. Gain weight

Ok well this is a really strange question since most people ask the opposite, but does anyone know how I could gain like 10 pounds since I am really really skinny and people blame me for being anorexic? (and please just don't say eat more, since I already eat a lot and it doesn't really do anything). I pretty much want to gain weight all over, except for my abbs which i want to keep flat. Any ideas? Hi, i am 15 nearly 16 and my teenage years which i should be enjoying are being ruined. ever since i was young i have had an obsession with babies and at one point i almost slept with someone i had only just met, to get pregnant. luckily i couldn't go through with it and after a while and a great deal of thinking i managed to bottle these feelings up and get on with my life and hopefully get a degree to become a high school teacher. Ok I know smoking is bad for you and that I shouldn't do it. Im a 15/f and been smoking for I would say bout 2 maybe 3 yrs. I have tried to quit before and I can't.Now I'm trying to lose weight and I have heard it helps keep off the pounds. Is it true?(please don't lie so I will quit I want a honest answer.)

I'm falling for my best friend. I'm a 17 year old chick, if it helps. He's 16, and a male, obviously. He's incredible. He's smart, he's hilarious, he's freaking adorable, and he's sooo sweet. Look at that! He's so sweet that I used multiple o's. I never use multiple o's! He's got his problems, but I can't think of any right now. The thing is, he's always falling for one friend of his or another, and I can't stand to watch him get his heart broken over and over again. It's so sad, and it breaks my heart. So, I have this friend and she's been going out with this guy for like 3 years. No joke! They've been together for 3 looooong years now. She was like super duperly in love with him. Like, he was the only thing she could talk about whenever I hung out with her. Now....they just broke up. and she's completely devastated. She's been crying for like days now. I saw her this morning and she looked terrible. She is like, totally distraught over this. I'm wondering what I can do to help her through this. She's like, my best friend. Please help.
