Gain weight Ok well this is a really strange question since most people ask the opposite, but does anyone know how I could gain like 10 pounds since I am really really skinny and people blame me for being anorexic? (and please just don't say eat more, since I already eat a lot and it doesn't really do anything). I pretty much want to gain weight all over, except for my abbs which i want to keep flat. Any ideas? What everyone doesn't understand is that whether you're obese or anorexic...shit food is shit food and has the same effect on us all. Also you can't just bombard your system with junk or even massive amount of healthy food if you're used to eating like a bird...you need to introduce good wholesome foods slowly and let your body get used to metabolizing their nutrients. You have to eat right to gain and eat right to lose...just take your time and make the effort wholeheartedly. Work out with weights and you're set. ]
You should be outside lesser then,stay in front of the computer days eat alot things like chips,ice cream drink cola,ice tea.
That how I gained TOO much weight :( ]
I suggest you just sit in front of your television set or play your consule game or reading. And not far from you don't forget to prepare your snacks, meals and every food you like. Don't do anything else. I'm sure you going to gain some weight.

ok what you could do is this summer dont exersize a lot mabey like once a week if you want and eat junk food sit on the computer all day watch tv just dont work out or exersize a lot..o and if it doesnt work then mabey your just ment to be skinny,because you could have a fast matabilizm...sorry if i cant help but i tried

as for advice! wow! well i dono! but if you find something that does work! please get back at me! i'd like to know too ]
1. Talk to your doctor about it and what you can do to gain more weight.
2. Go to www.am-i-fat.com. Go to the place where it says Am I fat? on the left side. It asks you to type in your weight and your height and then it tells you what range you are in and if you need to eat more or eat less, OR if you are right in the middle, perfect.
3. Start an excersicing program. This actually helps you gain weight, even if some of it is muscle. ]
Well most of those answers were a bit... odd.
Anyway I would recommend going to the gym and starting to do weights. Then create a calorie surplus (eat a few hundred calories more than you burn) and you should be well on your way.
Eating loads of fatty stuff is bad advice for a few reasons. First its unhealthy. Second there is no way to stop fat accumulating on your abs (no doing crunches/situps wont prevent that in the least). Third if you are the type of person that cannot gain weight it is unlikely that this will work on you. I have seen people who simply cant gain weight try to drink cream by the carton daily, so as to add to their calorie/fat intake. It didnt work.
Your best and healthiest bet is to start a weight training program. ]
hah.. well i know this is stupid but it actually works: take steroids, and dont lift.. then all the fat stuff goes to your stomach. ]
i used to have the same problem and i just starting eating junk food and fried foods like crazy! but please dont do that because it makes you gain weight in all the wrong places.. all you really have to do is eat tons of healthy food and work out regularly. believe it or not.. it helps you gain weight! and if all else fails eat the swedish bars from mean girls :) ]
its not the amount you eat, its what you eat. Eat anything fatty like burgers and fries.
ANd sleep more. sleep contibutes to excess weight. ANd just be generally more lazy for a while. and do abs so you don't gain too much around the waist.
OR
you can do some super tough workouts, like lot of pushups and lot running and weights. ANd eat a whole lot of steak and eggs and protien.
WHichever is easiest for you.

This is something you should ask a professional about. Talk to your doctor or see a dietician. You want to gain weight, but you also want to do it in a healthy way. Good luck! ]
