I am creating a faux research proposal for a class and my stats background is very limited.
The study I am creating has to do with parental empathy and child's conduct.
Parental empathy is measured by coding a parent interview and dichotomizes empathy as either high empathy or low empathy.
Conduct is measured by a teacher questionnaire and is again dichotomized, high conduct problems with low conduct problems.
What statistical test should I use to compare these two dichotomized variables?

I'm a 13 year old girl and my friend, Max, invited me to a sleepover party in Sydney with another friend, Lucas. Us three slept in a separate room to his parents and where mucking around. Max slept in my bed cause he wanted to and we kinda half had sex. Lucas had gone to sleep and so yeah. Of course we didn't use protection. I can't get fat, and being serious, so about 2 weeks later (now) when I started to get a little tiny bump and felt quite sickish at times, I began to get worried. I haven't been able to take a pregnancy test so I don't know.
Also if I am pregnant how do I tell my mum?!?

Hi... First of all thank you soo much you actually helped me a lo last time so i decided to try again. I'm 25 and my ex and I were together for 4 years. I absolutely loved him. I thought he was going to be my husband one day.

I'm 25 my boyfriend is 23. We have officially been dating for about a month now. We both came from long-term relationships with our exes. I do not talk to my ex at all, no contact, no social media - nothing. On the other hand my boyfriends ex will not leave him alone. I am not funny! I pretty much just make a fool out of myself being all silly to try to be somewhat funny. I try to say funny things but they're not funny and it's just embarrassing. I try to just stop trying to be funny but I always seem to just keep trying. Any advice?

Punk rock project, what are your favorites?

I'm doing a project for my Music History class, and I have to do the history of punk and pick a few artists and songs to feature. Any suggestions? I'm trying to encompass the whole of punk, but for a genre that started as a subgenre itself, it has a lot of variety. There's the obvious classic punk stuff that has to be included, and the history I can do pretty much just from memory (of what I've read over time), but to have to eliminate songs and bands from my list!

I am 17 years old. I have a month old baby & we both live with my dad. the babies dad is around and he's a great dad. He takes him when I have to work which is very helpful. He's definitely gotten his life together since my son was born. He has a job & plans on helping me with anything I need help with. But the problem is my dad is constantly putting his nose in our business when it comes to my son. For example I go to work from 4 to 11 & my sons dad picks me and the baby up takes me to work and watches him till I get off. My dad doesn't like my son out that late but he's a BABY! Hi, my name is Emily, I'm from England. Ok, so I fancied this one boy at my school. He seems so sweet and just really nice. I have liked him for about a year (we speak to eachother and are friends)! I know a girl who is friends with my friends, and we are friendly to eachother but we're more acquaintances. She began to fancy him, told her friend who told him. School Project

So at school we are doing a project and the person I am paired up with is pretty quiet, and when I try to talk to him about the project, he just talks in a way which makes me feel dumb, he doesn't show much interest. He is really smart and he is pretty much doing all the work so far, I am trying to communicate, asking him what he has done since he hasn't shared his work with me. I am trying to communicate but he keeps doing work without telling me and then he would say "no I've already done that". This is all fine that he is like that, I just don't know how to communicate with him more and make him feel more comfortable working with me. I don't think we'd have anything to talk about, he's more into politics. Any tips? Thanks!

I have never had a real argument with my best friend, and I've been friends with her for more than 12 years. People say that if you don't argue with your best friend, it means you don't have a great relationship. Is that true?
Oh, and to clarify, by "real" argument I mean about anything important. We mostly only argue about silly things like the price of cheese or who will pick the game(neither of us ever wants to choose...its always like "you pick" "No you pick")
Anyways, yeah, does that mean that we aren't actually that great of friends? where did that advice come from anyways?

My friend still won't listen

Recently, I have asked a few questions about this problem I have with my friend. I'll summarize it. Me and my friend were worried because she had a depression problem and tried to commit suicide so we told the counselors. Now she is mad at both of us. She refuses to speak to us, ignores us, and when we do speak to her, she ends up screaming in our faces. I am so lost in this world, I have no idea what to do. Please help me.

We are hosting a potluck for turkey day. the person who wanted to do this is a vegetarian, and then my boss said we all have to participate (yet, i normally dont involve myself in these activities, but since i must) ive decided to make dressing. Do I have to go out of my way to accommodate a vegetarian

When I walked in to bring my boyfriend lunch, I see this girl sitting at a desk. She gave me the up and down look as I walked in and I told her I'm here to see my boyfriend. She doesn't close the door as soon I enter his office, she lingers and stares at us as we embrace and kiss..staring as if to confirm I was his gf... Just so bizarre.
I spent his lunch hour with him and this girl came in his office FIVE TIMES. In the span of an hour!!! Am I tripping or is that strange??? Every time she came in it was for some stupid irrelevant thing that could have been discussed any other time. The way she was smiling and looking at him turned me OFF. SInging Lessons??

Hi, I'm 14 (almost 15), and I want to be a proffesional singer when I grow up (I know, SO unrealistic *sarcasm*). Anyway, I took singing lessons a year ago, and I quit on my own will because I didn't like the songs I had to sing to stretch my voice.
I know that is a REALLY REALLY stupid reason to quit, and I realized it quick after. I asked my mom if I could take singing lessons again and she said no.
One, for the fact that I myself quit them, and two, my mom just gave birth to my baby brother and he's two weeks old and she doesn't want "screaming" (my singing) in the house (I have a loud voice).
My mom told me if I can find someone who has their own studio, I can take the lessons.
