i'll be honest i'm not the most prettiest girl ever but i do have a great personality and alot to offer a guy. but alot of guys dont know i exsist. (and the guy i like doesnt really notice me). how can i get a guys attention and to notice me, before i get a chance to show the real me? ya know...something to get noticed first...

That will NOT work.
The best and most attractive thing a person can have, is confidence. Smile at the guy you're trying to get the attention of, and maybe even give him a little wave. When you're walking past him, don't look shy and awkward. Look confident, and keep your head up. Make sure to smile =]
Or, have a mutual friend introduce you to a guy. Like, have a friend you both know introduce you so you at least get aquainted, and then begin a conversation sometime.
OR, if you really want to get a guy's attention. Just go and talk to him. He won't bite! Just walk up to him and say, "Hi I'm (name), what's your name?" Again, make sure to smile and act friendly (but not too friendly) with him.

The best advice:
Just be honest with him.
Relationships come and go, that's just how they work. It's much better to be honest with him now, rather than giving him time to get even more attatched to you, and hurting him even more in the long run.

well i forgot one of my friends gave me a peice of gum at school and i did'nt eat it cuz i did'nt to get caught (we cant have gum in school) and i put it in my sweatshirt pocket. and my mom washed it with the gum in the pocket and now its all stuck inside. does anyone know any ways to get it out?
This might sound crazy, but I learned it in fashion class and it worked for me:
Take the hoodie, and put it in the freezer. Freeze it until the gum is frozen hard.
But make sure when you take it out, the gu mreally is frozen.
Then, scrape the gum off and voila!
Gum is GONE!

Here's the deal. This isn't one of those stories where I ask advice for my friend. It really is him. Alright, well a little while ago I went to my cousins house and I met his neighbor whom I clicked with immedietly. We had this instant atraction that was werid because Iusualy wouldn't go for guys like him. I'm a good girl, because of the choices I make, and he's more of the bad boy who's been through alot. So we liked eachother a little bit, but he lives about an hour away and I have a boyfriend, and he had a girlfriend.The feelings faded how I wanted them too. When we got to know eachother, he told me that he cuts. I got him to stop and he promied me that he'd never do it again, but only because he loves me and that he wants to make sure that I trust him. I got him through alot of stuff and I became his "hero" as he says. A little while after that he told me that he missed his ex and that his life meant nothing to him anymore and I had to convince him to not take his life. I don't say anything inconsiderate and I talk to him about his feelings. I know how to play. He thanked me for the help and everything was fine for awhile. Then, yesturday, he told me that he broke up with the girlfriend that he currently had because they lived far away. I asked him if I could help and he said no, because, "It scares me how much I care about you, and I can't take loving you anymore." I didn't understand what he meant by this and I tried over and over again to ask him but he never gave me the explaination that I wanted. I thought we were over what we had, but maybe he doens't like me anymore. I asked if he still had feelings for me and he said yes, but I just really don't know. I asked him if he broke up with his girlfriend because of me and he said that he didn't know. I'm gonig up to my aunts house on monday and I'm gonig to see him because he is my aunts neighbor. I'm just afraid that things will be different and that I'll make him feel weird. We had somthing, I'll admit. I love the boyfriend that I have right now and I don't want anything to rekindle with my aunts neighbor. I want to be there for him, but I don't wnat to fall for him. I had a big problem with this last time and it almost caused me and my boyfriend to brake up. This kid means alot to me, and he changed me as a person and I see life alot differently. I just recently lost one of my best friends and he helped me get through. Now I want to be there for him. I can't have him take his life or hurt himself. Please...please help me. I sound desperate, but what would you do if you were me.

This is a very tough issue. I'm not exactly sure what to say, but I'll try my absolute best.
If I was in this situation, I would for sure not lead this guy on. It would only hurt him more and cause more trouble than neccessary.
Second of all, have you told somebody about his problems? I.E, how he used to cut? I would tell somebody, probably your aunt or the boy's parent because cutting is a serious issue that rarely just disappears and gets pushed aside like this. Also, the fact you think he may take his life if you hurt him. You should NOT put this burden no yourself. You need to tell somebody.
Next, I would talk to this guy. I would let him know that he changed you and made such an impact on you, but you just don't love him in that way. Tell him do not want to jeopardize things with your current boyfriend. Let him know you don't want to start a real relationship, because if things end badly, you do not want to lose him, etc.
But over all, I would tell a trusted adult that your friend seems to be suicidal. I hope helping you does save his life. Best of luck.

Hi, I am 16 years old, I am 5'5" and i weigh about 117 pounds. I want to weigh at least 125 pounds and this calculator said that I should be eating at least 2000 calories a day and i should gain one pound a week. I figured I should write down tomorrow what I eat and calculate how many calories I have had in the day to see how much I eat in the first place and adjust accordingly. What sorts of stuff should I do to create a list of things to eat everyday, because thats a lot of calories. Any tips or suggestions are welcome.
Just make sure not to start binge eating fat filled foods. If you want to gain weight, do it in a healthy way. Check food labels, and eat nutrient dense foods. Aka, foods with more nutrients than fat. Try google for more tips =]

I have this guy and we have gone out 3 times. I broke up with him again because he has alot of friends that are girls and I feel that he treats me the same as them. Also some of them like him and he flirts with him. Well we broke up and he wanted to get back together with me. Everyone was like don't go out with him again!!!!! Well one day we were talking about "us" and I asked what would we do different going out than being friends because we don't do anything special. He said I can think of something but he wouldn't tell me. I got mad at him and we got in an arguement. We made up but I told him we should just be friends. We are friends but I askd him what he was going to say and he says it doesn't matter anymore and won't tell me. I do want to be with him but what can I say to tell him what I want. How do I get him to tell me. He knows I still like him and he still like me. Also sometimes he just flirts with his other girlfriends and acts like i'm not there. It makes me mad cause he just ignores me. at least 3 other girls like him.
On again-off again relationships don't work. Trust me, I'm speaking from personal experience.
What also factors into my belief that this relationship won't work, is the fact he won't tell you whatever it is you want him to tell you. He should be able to tell you anything, and not feel the need to hide it from you. I know this sounds terrible, but maybe he's just saying he thought of something that might be different if you got back together, so you will get back together and he can say he has a girlfriend or something along those lines.
Again speaking from personal experience, whenever a guy says he knows something will be different this time, all it means is it really won't be different. If that makes sense. Like, he says he'll try to make it work, but he really just wants to get back together with you, and not neccessarily for the right reasons.
Maybe you could make this work, but I really wouldn't reccommend trying it though. =/

out of nowhere my ex texted me last. i didn't even know he still had my number because i surely didn't have his. it's been 2 years since we broke up and it was a mutual decision after he found someone else. he's still with that other person. how do i respond to this? is he just trying to catch up as friends?
Casually respond back. He was probably thinking of you and thought, "Maybe I'll text to see how she's doing". It's probably just catching up as friends and seeing how you're doing.

i have a 4gb ipod nano.. i recently tried to sync it and it didnt work cuz i had too many songs, not enough room. idk what i did but now all my songs.. all 815 of them.. are not on my ipod ANYWHERE, and when i took songs off and tried to update it again, it says that it can't sync ipod because all playlists trying to be sync-ed are not longer existant. what do i do ?! i tried restarting my ipod and that didnt work either..
4 gb iPods are supposed to hold up to 1000 songs, I believe. I could be wrong though.
This is based on 4 minutes per song.
Though, the reason yours can't hold more is because some songs are longer, and if you have artwork for each song. This takes up more room.
Next, my suggestion is to go into your iTunes lbrary and delete some songs. Try to get down to about 800. Then, replug your iPod in and see if it syncs.
ALSO:
If you have pictures (not artwork, actually photos) on the iPod, those take up some room, too. Go through and delete some of those (if you have them on your iPod) then try syncing it again.
If this doesn't work, open iTunes, plug in your iPod, and select "maually manage songs" or something really close to that. Then, do what it says, and try manually managing your songs.
If none of this works, then either:
- go to apple.com and click support.
- go to the store you bought it from or a local Best Buy/electronic store.

First of all, I believe 6th graders are too young to be using this site.
But to answer your question regardless...
The best and most effective way to get a bully to stop, Ignore him! You see, when you ignore him, you're showing that his calling you names doesn't bother you. When he thinks it doesn't bother you, he'll get bored and stop.
But if you must acknowledge them, say something like, "Ok, whatever you say." Then smile and walk away. This is kind of the same technique. (showing it doesn't bother you, bully getting bored, etc.)
If this doesn't work, tell a teacher or an adult you trust.

me and my boyfriend has been together for a while now, and we lost our virginities to eachother. and it's almost been a month before my period is supposed to come. and right now, we're both scared because he thinks i'm pregnant right now. but i'm not really sure if i am. because we've used condoms and we've changed it over and over again too. and it didn't break or leak or anything. we were very careful during sex, and i haven't been throwing up or anything, i felt like it.. but that's maybe because i'm kind of sick and i've been coughing hard that makes me wanna throw up. and my stomaches gotten kind of bigger, but how is that possible for less than a month? it's probably because i've eaten alot of junk food or something. my period comes at random times, supposedly it's supposed to come around this week or next, but i don't even have my warning yet. maybe i'm just worrying too much that my period hasn't come yet... i'm not sure.

Your best and safest bet is to go see your doctor.
BEFORE you tell me "No way, he/she will tell my parents." No, they won't.
If you tell your doctor to keep any information obtained during your visit private, he will not notify your parents.
Like I said, go to the doctor, and tell him/her that you have been sexually active and think you may be pregnant.
