Q: I'm grounded for about 2 weeks about I'm off grounding April 4th.
That's when I'm gonna hang out with my bf.
But instead of him talking to me all day and comforting me while I can't do anything since I'm grounded..
He goes out and hangs out with his friends and does other stuff and talks to me on the phone a little.
He has his fun while I'm grounded and lonely and can't hang out with anyone.
I've been talking to my friends on the computer pretty much all day and talked to him a little because he was 'busy'.
Wouldn't it be right for him to comfort me and talk to me all day because I'm grounded??!
I don't get it..
Let me get this straight...

You screwed up. You got yourself grounded.

Yet YOU expect HIM to comfort you, and give up his fun?

I'd love to sympathize, but I think you're being a little self-centered. I'm sure your boyfriend has a life other than you.

That's what you don't get.

Q: around what age do guys stop getting those random erections?
They don't!

They actually have to have occasional erections to keep blood flowing to the penis. It's perfectly healthy and normal, and pretty easy to conceal/deal with.

Q: Anyone know where I can get some Human Growth Hormone? I'm pretty short, but not short enough to be prescriped HGH by my doctor.

Anyone know where I could look aroudn to get some? Or other ways to grow taller?
No. Absolutely not.

Simple vanity is no reason for seeking possibly harmful medical treatment against the wishes of your doctor. If they didn't think you were short enough for it, it means you're not.

If you're past the age of 20 or so, you've likely stopped growing, and there's nothing you can do to get any taller. If you're still a teenager, just eat healthy, avoid caffeine, and make sure you drink lots of milk to keep your bones healthy.

Other than that, there's nothing you can do. Embrace the body you were born with!

Q: ok there is this kid, lets call him josh for example. Well josh definitly likes me and there is no doubt about that and well i cant decide if i like him or not. he's a great friend and he listens to me and he cares about me and he doesn't think im pathetic when i cry and get depressed. He's a really nice guy but i can't see myself being intimate with him. He's not very attractive and sometimes he can be really dorky and he is also obsessed with the army which i am not so i don't know what to do. He has really small lips and they are sort of curved inward so i cant imagine kissing him. But he has muscles which is a turn on. Any advice as to what to do would be greatly appreciated.
im afraid if he asked me out i woldn't know what to say. but lately he's always on my mind and i want to see him all the time. I'm so confused. Please help me.
The fact that someone's lips 'curve in' shouldn't be a deciding factor!

If you get along with him as well as you say you do, give him a chance. Trust me; those little physical things that you just COULDN'T get over seem to magically disappear when you start to have feelings for them.

P.S. The dorky ones are the best ones to date. They actually appreciate what you have to offer!

Q: When you buy a trench coat, for the size do you buy one that fits just right, one a little loose, or one that fits real tight to show off your curves? And I always have my hair in a low pony tail so would it look good?
Don't get a really tight one, or else you won't be able to wear sweaters underneath it without looking like a sausage.

As for the hair, sounds good.

Q: I like a lot of types of music, and i'm starting to get into bands such as Fall Out Boy, Cute Is What We Aim For, Panic! At The Disco. What other bands are similar to them? i don't like screaming heavy metal stuff. help.
Check out the band Dogs Die In Hot Cars. They're really different, and I'm definitely hooked.

Q: okay, so i have blonde shoulderlength thinish hair. i striaghten it maybe once a week and wash it everyday or else it will get oily. i'm scared of loosing my hair, its one of my fears for some reason and everytime i see one strand fall down i panic and worry about being bald or having hardly any hair.

is there anyway i can get really thick hair that won't fall out no matter how hard i brush? THANK YOU!
Stop worrying! You hair won't all fall out.

Even though strands of hair seem to be continually falling out, there are new strands coming in all the time.

Hair has to fall out once it's past its prime. It's absolutely normal.

As for making it thicker, there's no way to actually make it thicker. You're stuck with the hair you're born with!

It may surprise you to hear it, but I envy you... I have superthick but really fine straight hair, and it's such a pain! I've been getting my hair thinned since I was two years old :S

Q: is it just me or does anyone else find hjs utterly disgusting?! i mean come one, they cum in your mouth! and when that happens what do you with it?! cause i think i would gag with i got cum in my mouth. and well thats about it, thanks.
:]
Hand jobs don't require a guy coming in your mouth; if you're with a guy who said so, he's lying to you...

As an addition to the person who responded before me, they don't 'have' to come in your mouth when you're performing oral sex, either. You can always use a flavoured condom or he can come elsewhere.

To answer your question, though, it's not that gross. You can spit it out, but I find the easiest course is to swallow it quickly. Less mess that way.

Q: 13/f
ive been going out with my boyfriend for a little over 2 months and i want to say i love you but do you think its too early? like i dont want him too freak out if he doesnt feel that way back. what should i do?

thanks. :)
I know this isn't the answer you want to hear, but you need to mature a little more before going around telling guys that you love them.

Love is when you would do anything for a person; when you can't imagine living your life without them. When you love a man, it means that you want to spend the rest of your life with him... and at thirteen, you're not capable of feeling this sort of thing.

You're probably seriously crushing on the guy, and that's great. Just make sure you find out what love actually means before you dive into it.

Q: i am soooooooo bored. wut r sum good websites 2 go on? plz dont tell me myspace.
Here are a couple I go on every day...

Q: hi, well you know how when you buy a pair of new shoes, you get a packet of "silica" in them, and it says "do not eat", what happens if you do eat it? just curious, thanks
Silica is a desiccant, meaning that it removes moisture from its surroundings. If you ingest it, it will absorb moisture from your stomach, which could make you sick.

I always have the compulsion to eat them though... I'm glad it's not just me!

Q: Is it weird that I masterbate atleast once or twice a day? why do yu think that i do this?

Im a girl by the way
Absolutely not. Masturbation is a healthy way to get rid of sexual tension that you may not be ready to fulfill in other ways.

It's totally normal for both men and women.

Q: Okay so, I'm not extremley overweight but I am "chunky". I feel like the only reasons I've yet to find anyone is because I'm fat and ugly. I cant really change what I look like, I'm getting plastic surgery for my dark circles but my mom wont let me get anything else done. And as for my weight problem, I've been on diets and I lose 30 lbs just to gain it all back again. I'm 17/female and have never been kissed...it makes me laugh when I think of a guy ever wanting to be that close to me. I'm surrounded by 100 lb beautiful girls everywhere I go, do I have to just lose the weight if I ever want to be happy?
No, you don't!

I'm 19 years old. Until university, I had only ever dated one guy. I thought, like you, that guys only wanted pretty, skinny girls.

I weigh 185 pounds, and I'm a size 14. I used to be really self-conscious; I was always trying to lose weight so I could be like those other girls.

Then I moved away to university, and all of a sudden I was meeting guys who were interested in me for myself. They liked me even though I was (I thought) ugly and overweight.

I've been with my current boyfriend for six months now, and I'm really in love with him. He likes the way I look, even if it's not the standard.

Long story short, there's someone out there for everyone. Guys grow up a lot in the next couple years, you'll notice.

It's all in learning to rock the body you have. Next time you look in the mirror, don't think of the things you don't like... think of what you do like. I took comfort in my skin and eyes. Being confident in the body you have is more important than looking like Mischa Barton!

Just love who you are, and others will love you too. Good luck!

Q: hi, 15 year old guy here. well i want to have this wrestling room in my house, when im older, with all stuff wrestlisg in it, like you see people having on tv. and i dont want to sell my playstation 2, because i have like 7 wrestling games on it, and i want to keep them for this wrestling room of mines. im i stupid for wanting a wrestling room? i want some extra cast so i can buy the playstation 3, so i was thinking of selling my playstation2, but i have all the wrestling games on it, and i really want to keep it. any advice? should i let go of this "dream room" or have it??
Don't sell a PS2 for cash to buy a PS3. You won't get very much for it, and the PS3 is really expensive.

As for the wrestling room, everyone has interests. It's pretty normal. Your interests might change as you get older, but don't give up your dream just yet .

Q: I'm not planning on having sex the first time for a couple years or so atleast but I'm afraid I will end up regretting it later on. I'm just curious about the average age girls lose their virginity.

So basically I have three questions..

1. What age did you lose your virginity?

2. Do you regret it or are you happy with your choice?

3. What age do you suggest? (Please don't say when you're ready because obviously I'm going to wait until I'm ready but I'm talking like what's too young, etc.)

Thanks
1. I was 18 years old. I know that's comparatively pretty late, but I decided to wait until I was sure I was ready to deal with the consequences.

2. I'm perfectly fine with my choice. I have absolutely no regrets whatsoever.

3. I would definitely suggest 18+. You have to be old enough to deal with things if they go wrong (STD, pregnancy) and mature and educated enough to deal with things like taking care of yourself and birth control.

Q: is that true that if you have a kanker sore and you give a guy oral sex he'll get herpes? since like kanker sores are a form of herpes.
Canker sores are just irritation caused by too much vitamin C.

You're definitely thinking about cold sores. They're a form of the herpes virus, herpes simplex.

If you have a cold sore, you can give a guy genital herpes.

Q: I want to advide from some people who have moved away from home when they were 16 or 18...or like around that age.How did it go ??? Are you glad or do u regret it ?
I moved away from home at 17 to go to university.

It's a lot harder than you might think. All of a sudden, you're responsible for things you never thought of; paying rent, utilities, grocery bills...

You have to cook for yourself, clean up after yourself and do your own grocery shopping and laundry.

If you're planning on moving out without financial support from your parents, you're going to have to work at least one full-time job to support yourself. If you're planning to go to school, get ready for some really hard work. You've got to pay for your tuition and books and transportation to and from school. All of this while trying to work your minimum wage job (because you won't get great pay at age 16).

I know that living under someone else's rules really sucks, but too much responsibility too soon sucks even more. Trust me, I know. I'm 19 and I've been supporting myself all year while going to university full-time.

So enjoy being a teenager while you can.

Q: i have long periods like a 12 days long is there any way i can make them shorter without taking pills..please help!
If you don't mind needles, Depo Provera is a great way to stop menstruating. It's an injected form of birth control. It lasts for 3 months.

I'm on it, and have been for 6 months now. I have only experienced light spotting a couple of times... no menstruation.

Q: Okay, well im 14/f and i have a size 36D boobs (im a little on the chubby side) but i dont think that matters. well, my boobs sort of sag a little and my nipple (the brown ring) is really really big. like of course ive seen my friends becuase were girls or whatever and theres arent nearly as big but they also have smaller boobs. ive watched like funny movies where u get glimses of girls boobs and it doesnt look like theres is that big either...is there like anyway i can get it smaller....if i lose weight will it get smaller with my cup size...waht do i do cuz its really weird and ugly and how do i get rid of the saggyness?
PLEASE HELP.
I'm in sort of the same situation (36DD), and here's what I've found.

Your breasts are always going to look 'saggier' than smaller ones. Unfortunately, losing weight will make them MORE saggy, or not change them at all. What will help with that is exercise. If you really work your pectoral muscles, it gives your breasts a lot of lift.

You really can't compare yourself to other girls, because everyone's breasts are different. I know it takes some work, but get comfortable with your body, and you'll realize that you're actually pretty lucky! Most of my flat-chested friends are all jealous of my size.

And trust me on this... men love it.

Q: i want a good song with like an explosion in it like something really loud and i also want another song with like glass breaking real loud
Pink Floyd's "One of My Turns" has a really loud glass breaking sound in it... it starts off slow, but then the guy singing it freaks out and starts breaking stuff.

As for explosions, sorry, can't help you :)

My Personal Forum

My name is Amanda and I'm 26 years old. I'm currently studying electrical engineering. Armed with a fairly odd sense of humour and a sunny outlook on life, I'll take on just about anything. I'm also cussedly stubborn, which has its ups and downs. Things get tough sometimes, and I've never been one to run from it.

In my last 8 years with Advicenators, I've gone from honours student to failing out of university (and getting back on top again!), from single to married, from tenant to homeowner.

Until lately, I have been struggling with a diagnosis of bipolar disorder and OCD, which had basically ruined my life and taken just about everything from me. I'm thankful every day for every experience I've had because of this ordeal, because it's helped to make me who I am today. Things like that really make you appreciate what you do have. Now that I'm back in work and school and starting to become myself again, I couldn't be happier. I credit Advicenators with saving my life back when I was a teenager, which is a big part of why I'm still here.

I won't necessarily give you the answers you want to hear, but I'll always be honest and do my best to help.
