Im a 13 year old girl and I think around my age is a good time to start wearing tampons well maybe next year. are they easy to put in and do they hurt? when did you guys start wearing them or when do you think is a good time to wear them?

I am assuming you have already started your period. The first few times, you might find it a little tricky to put in, and it could hurt a little if you don't know what you're doing. You can start wearing tampons during your period at any age.

We got together last year on the 26th December and today she said that she cant take the emotions of a serious relationship when she is this young. She sayd that we're are both to young but she still loves me. She said to wait until she is older (16-ish) or has left high school (18) I love her so much. I will wait until she is ready. Frankly, I wouldn't wait around for her. You both know you're young and chances are any relationship you have isn't going to last. Just play it by ear. If you're still single by the time she's ready, go for it, but if something better comes along, don't let the opportunity pass by. She doesn't want to be with you now, so there's no guarantee she's going to want to be with you later. Don't put all your eggs in one basket, kid.

Is it possible you didn't take the outer skin off? It's rough, and you aren't supposed to eat it, though I feel that is common knowledge. If you did remove it, maybe you had a cut in your mouth and some acidity got into the wound. Maybe the pieces you cut were just too big, and your mouth was too small (oh my God that sentence..).

Hi Im Gracie and Im 13. How do people know that God is real? I think I believe in God, but Im not sure. I pray sometimes, but when I do, I dnt feel anything. Its like Im talking to myself, and sometimes I feel a little weird. My dad says he believes in God but he's not really religous. he only goes to church because his girlfriend Katie makes him (shes SUPER religuous). No one can confirm the existence of any God or any other deity. Faith is just believing there is a God, despite the lack of physical proof. We can't really tell you if you're going to hell for not believing either. None of us can tell you anything about the afterlife. Some die hard religious types might make convincing arguments, but you have to figure out what you believe for yourself. And frankly, you probably aren't spiritually deep enough at 13 to figure it all out.

The most important person in my life passed away this week, and I plan her funeral if I can get a ride.

She was a teacher I had my freshman year of high school. And I'm not exactly sure what to wear, mostly shoes.

I already plan on going out and finding a black dress to wear. If I can't find an appropriate one, a dress that starts off as a light grey and works it's way down to black with a black cardigan.

Jewlery; I plan on either wearing this long gold/black dream catcher necklace, or a short choker-like silver owl necklace.

Now shoes, I have absolutely no idea. For my grams funeral back in 08, I wore these black converse-looking flats my mom approved of. But flat absolutely tear up the backs of my feet. I was thinking maybe black wedges? I considered heels but I didn't want them going through the dirty and me falling all around.

I always have my toesnails and finger nails painted, and I planned on painting them a very dark, almost black purple.

Any tips, anything I definitely SHOULD NOT wear?

I am so sorry for your loss. Recently, a classmate of mine passed away. I wore a black skirt, black shirt, and black kitten heels to her funeral. I'm used to walking in heels so I did not have an issue. I'd say go simple with the jewelry. Both pieces sound sort of elaborate, so I would skip them entirely. As for shoes, the wedges would be appropriate for this occasion.

Okay so something is going on with my hormones, background information about me is I am 16, female, eat right, exercize right, my periods aren't regular sometimes they skip a month or so, and no there isn't a possibility that I am pregnant AT ALL , I've always been like this. Mood-swings are pretty common during your period. As long as it does not greatly impact your day-to-day life, it's nothing to worry about. However, if it does, you could have Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PDMM). Basically, this disorder is a severe case of PMS. The symptoms are much more harsher, and often include extreme mood-swings. A doctor can prescribe you birth control to treat PDMM, if you are, in fact, diagnosed with this by a medical professional (and not an Advicenator).

Nautical, floral, and pastels are always in for spring. Like another poster said, feathers are big right now. Maxi dresses are popular, as are patterned shorts. Sperrys are really popular for footwear, but at 13 I don't recommend buying a pair. They can be expensive, and your feet might grow out of them within a year. Opt for some cute strappy sandals instead.

Unfortunately, there really isn't anything you can do. Self-confidence comes from where the name implies: oneself. She has decide she's pretty for herself. The best thing you can do is remind her that she is attractive and be supportive. As she gets older, she'll eventually learn to accept herself.

No, you cannot make it go faster. Ask your mom or another woman in your family when she first got her period. You'll probably get yours around then.
