Tampons. is it hard?

Im a 13 year old girl and I think around my age is a good time to start wearing tampons well maybe next year. are they easy to put in and do they hurt? when did you guys start wearing them or when do you think is a good time to wear them?

They will the first time. but do what you thinks best. don"t follow the crowd because sometimes they are really hard to get up all the way and if you go in a pool or something you might leak. :( not good. So try it about a weekbefore you do anything that you need it for. R

No, they do not hurt if you insert them right, and 13 is how old I was, If you swim or do sports, they are better than pads. If your ready then 13 is a fine age to start.

They are easy to put in and generally don't hurt if you're wearing a small enough size. I started wearing tampons maybe a year after I started getting my period, which would have been 7th grade. If you need help figuring out how to put them in, most tampons come with instructions for insertion.

I am assuming you have already started your period. The first few times, you might find it a little tricky to put in, and it could hurt a little if you don't know what you're doing. You can start wearing tampons during your period at any age.
