I don't remember when, I remember it was within about a month ago, but I went out without gloves one night and I didn't put on lotion. Then, when we've been out for about 2 hours, I was in the car and I noticed that my skin had a bunch of tiny pink cracks and you could see that they were fresh. They stung when I touched them. So, when I went home, I put lotion on to soothe it. Then, a while later when it sunk in, I washed my hands with really hot water that stung (now I know it was a horrible mistake) and after that I noticed that I had burned my hand with the hot water. So, the morning after that I woke up and my hand was still bright red and I was worried so I put a little bit more lotion on it. It stopped hurting, but it was still red. Then in about a week's time, I noticed my hand slowly turning from hot, red and sensitive to warm, covered with tiny scabs, and dry.
So my questions are;
What should I do to get rid of all of the tiny scabs?
Should I just wash my hands with only cold water?
Should I keep putting lotion on it every morning?

This actually happened to me a couple weeks ago. Wash your hands with cold ish water and use thicker lotion. I would actually would recommend something like Vaseline. Nothing water based.

Ok so all of my friends have boyfriends. I am lonely. Boys always talk to me but I cant tell if there interested. I like a really cute boy but I don't know how to make myself pretty enough to ask him out or visaversa. (link)

If you really want a boy to like you. Do not ever try to be prettier for him. I spent seven years trying to be a different person for the boy i am in love with. It wasn't until last year that I realized that I only had tyo do one thing. that to him. Boys won't show if there interested until they tell you, and if you think that every boy that talks to you likes you, then most will stop talking to you. just make friends with a good amount of boys and when you really feel something, tell them.

i want to earn some money but i can't get a job because i'm only 13 and i dont know who to babysit for. i dont know whether putting up fliers around the neighborhood would actually work. i babysit my own little brother all the time but my parents never pay me or give me an allowance. Okay. First get papers from a hospital so people will no youre certified. Two, do NOT make you're fliers by hand, adults like suffisticated people looking after their childern. and lastly, make sure you no what you're doing. Last you want is to be accountable for a hurt kid.

I have a TINY crush on my cousin too. But hes not blood realated to me. just a close family friend. Try not to think of him as a crush, but more of a good friend and then it won't be weird to talk and have fun. R

Trust me. Fighting will wear off. Me and my sister fight all the time. Fights are pretty much the stronghold of a healthy sibling realationship. Soon you'll realize how important you both are and you'll love eachother.R

I'm around 13 and I REALLLLYYYY want a cell phone!!!! So I am willing to pay for it all, I have my eye on a lg neon 2, I found a good fido plan for 100 min, unlimited texting, unlimited weekends and evenings for 25 dollars a month! Don't pay for your own phone. I learned the hard way how much it cost. unless youre making a good hard salary haha, don't try it. And plus, phone are just like house phones. R

They will the first time. but do what you thinks best. don"t follow the crowd because sometimes they are really hard to get up all the way and if you go in a pool or something you might leak. :( not good. So try it about a weekbefore you do anything that you need it for. R

ok so i am a 13 year old female and i was really upset with my mom because she kept on yelling at me and overreacting when i was trying to make cookies. so she started yelling "stop! you arent making cookies aymore put everything back!" what really annoys me is that she had to concern herself with something my sister and i were trying to do on our own. so after we were forced to put everything away, we walked downstairs and i said "god you are such a retard" to my sister and i know i shouldnt have said tht but i was sooo angry. so my sister was like "i'm telling mommy" so my mom screams at me to come upstairs so when i do, she goes "sit in that f***ing chair and study" and i said "fine i was going to do that anyway" and so i sat down and she runs over and i flinch like any normal person would and curled up into a ball and she starts hitting me and pulling my hair and she smashes her face against mine and screams at the top of her lungs over and over again "don't give me a f***ing attitude do you f***ing understand me?!!!" so i said yes and then went upstairs and started to cry because i was so scared but then i figured "why bother caring. she does this all the time! it was worse last week whe i stood up for my dad when she was being a complete b**ch and she told me to go f*ck myself and gave me the finger and drove off so why be scared now?" but the truth is, i am scared. i have no trusted adults to talk to and friends who always just say "some people have it worse than you so shut up" i have nobody to reach out and i refuse to call hotlines because they will take me away or they will trace my number if i call as anonymous. im so scared because it seems like my whole life is a mess. im struggling with my mom and my sexuality. i told my friends i thought i was bi and one of them told another girl that i did not want to know and she told a bunch of others. it feels like i can not trust anyone anymore. please help me. i just want to curl up and die. Why do others call me stuck up cause I'm shy?
I'm not around family and friends. I'm just sometimes quiet around people I never talked too or I'm quiet when I'm tired. Sometimes when I first meet people it takes me a while to come out of my shell cause I think I'm going to get judged . I'm happy and smiling all of the time. That’s just how I am, a happy person. Since elementary school I've heard girls say that I'm stuck up or "I think I'm all that". I honestly feel like I'm the nicest person I never talked bad about someone even behind their backs. There's no point if you think about it, you never know what someone's going through. I'm not a bitch. It won't get you anywhere in the future. Can someone tell me why people do call me stuck up cause I'm shy? I really don't get it

I'm 13 and I really like this guy ( I think I'm in love with him) and I know i like him for who he is and everything because we used to be really close friends but ever since he got a gf not so much. Well its not good to separate him from his girlfriend, but here i go: around him but don't make it look like all you want is to be his girlfriend since he has one already. talk to his friends while he's around and make eye contact, smile (not gigantic though), and look back at his friend. Talk to him once and a while. Listen to what he has to say and if he doesn't wish to speak any longer, don't be a pest. R

Gee. Weight can always be. snaps from a sister? Not as easily. Trust me, life moves on and weight and looks can't hold you down. I have learned that guys don't like girls for looks as much now. They fall for girls who like themselves. So smile and do not be depressed. I feel you :). R

Yea actually there are. One of my friends are. At first they pretend to joke about kissing you or a different person of the same sex. Then they start showing a friction towards people of separate genders: Usally, the signs are visible but these are ones you might see. Hope this helps. R

Youre not ugly! and don't try to hardthen you'll come across as desparate. guys only start liking girls who don"t show that they like anyone or try to hard. don"t wear to much makeup. Guys can't stand it! and wear your hair down once and a while and make sure you don't smell bad. R

crafts alwways works. read to them and mix in education aspects into the play. play math games and vocab tests. for example play a game cal "eraser" with flash cards and however wins gets prizes. lame buut it works. and the parents will love it
