A few thoughts I've gathered from my teenage years (and being on this site for most of them!):
1. If you Google song lyrics, the song will come up 99% of the time.
2. Dress to fit your body type, and buy the size that fits. If you're a size 6, squeezing into a 4 won't make you look skinnier. It makes you look fat when you aren't.
3. You will never regret waiting to lose your virginity.
4. There is such a thing as a stupid question, but we're all allowed to ask them.

i feel like nothing can cure this sickness i've been having for almost a year or so. I've went to the doctor multiple times. I get:

-queezy
-the food i eat comes back up my throat
-semi-soft feces =P
-if i dont eat i get dizzy and tired
-my stomach is constantly upset
-i get lots of headaches
-i have a hard time breathing
-and my bones and muscles ache alot

do anything to help me.

i'm on meds. but i dont think they will work.

help. please. before i die.

Are you anemic? Your doctor has probably already tested your blood- but iron I'm not sure if it's always checked.


You should also make sure that you're not getting migrane headaches. I get them frequently and they always make me queasy. Since you're not eating much, that could be causing your other symptoms.


Also, try seeing a different doctor. The one your going to now may have missed something.

we are writing a diary for romeo and juliet and I am doing juliet. I am trying to think of new ways to close the entries. I've used until nextime, yours truly, etc., but i need some more. i have gotten to a sad part in the story so i kind of need one to end it in a sad way. if anyone has any ideas, please let me know! thanks!

Well, if you're at the part where she's found Romeo dead (after she wakes up from the sleeping draught) you could have her write an antry to Romeo, and end it with "Until we meet again, my love..."


Or just use something sad, like "farewell..." or, "goodbye".

welll, i'm dating this guy who is 17& a junior& i'm 14& in the 8th grade, next year in novemeber he will be 18& a senior& I will be 15& a freshman.
Do you think this age difference is wrong?

& so i'm allowed to see him I told my mom he was 16 turning 17. I really like him alot, i'm just afriad of getting hurt.

I honestly don't think the age difference is a big deal. He's not pressuring you to do anything, so it's not like he's using you for sex. Just remember that he's a senior, and will be going to college in a year or so. Be prepared for that.

haha. most of us know how addicting myspace can be, and I had a myspace account for a while and now in high school they ban me from myspace because of drama that happenend with three of my enemies which involved alot of cussing and drama. I want to know the best way to approach my parents and get hem to let me have a myspace account because I'm an addict! :) ;)

If you were addicted to LSD, and your parents took your drugs away, they're not gonna give them back to you because you asked.


Take a break from myspace. It's overrated anyways. What's the big deal? Hardly anyone has actaul conversations anymore. Stick to AIM and phone calls for awhile. You'll soon realize that you were wasting a LOT of time on a stupid WEBSITE- there's more to life than a myspace page.

Hey. Basically Im depressed. About my whole life. I have different issues like school work and guys and i really do not want to go to an adult about this. I dont know if im really depressed or am i just bored. Like i havent had a boyfriend since october. I really dont know, i should be very happy right now because i won this contest, but im not. I cry everyday, and nothing big happened that i should be depressed about. I mean there are little things but seriously im so confused right now and i realy need help. I do talk to my friend but she has no adivce cuz shes going through the same thing. Please help

I don't think you're depressed. But, you're heading down that road. Don't panic, though. I think all you need is to change your perspective a little.


No Boyfriend? Enjoy it! You can flirt with whoever catches your eye. You can be friends with guys and learn a whole new pespective on life. Seriously, once you've got guy friends who will talk to you about everything and anything... you think about life differently. Once you stop WORRYING so much about having a boyfriend, life is so much easier. You're not checking out every guy that comes your way, thinking OMG MY HAIR OMG DOES HE LIKE ME?! You appear a lot mroe confident- and confidence is attractive in ANYONE.


Little things can add up and become something big. I know this from experience. I dealt with a lot of shit all at once; my mom was in the hospital/psych ward being treated for depression, and this was about 3 months after she had two major surgeries. Once I got over this, two relatives died within 5 months [one was my grandfather]. Stuff happens in life, and you're going to have to get used to it. It's hard to do this once something actually happens, but you HAVE to believe that everything will get better. Tell yourself that all the time.


Tell yourself everyday that life is good- even if that morning, you don't quite believe it. There's a bright side to everything. Your life is better than you may think; you've got friends, you're healthy, and you've got your whole life to live.


Get a hobby, start an exercise routine. Anything that shifts your focus into something to better yourself will be extremely beneficial. And take your friend along too- she could benefit as well. If nothing helps, though, consider talking to an adult, like an uncle or aunt you trust, or even an older cousin or friend's sibling. Someone else's perspective can really help.

ok so if heat rises and your closer to the sun why the heck is it colder on top of a mountain?

The air is thinner, basically. As you get farther away from sea level, the atmosphere isn't as "dense" so to speak, and it gets cold.

I am 15/f, and I have a lot of trouble finding swimsuits. I'm in between 5'3" and 5'4" and about 120 pounds, so I'm average sized I guess, with a small to medium frame. But my bra size is 34D. I hate when swimsuits are too revealing, I don't like to show too much, but I'm having trouble. The swimsuit tops with those plastic pieces in the back don't work because they are always too loose. I need one that ties in the back and up top for it to fit properly. Is there anywhere that would have swimsuits for someone with my problem? Thanks

When I'm given roses, I keep them after they die. Now I have 24 roses that are from 2 anniversaries with my boyfriend, and i have no idea what to do with them. I need some creative idea, even if I only keep a few rather than all of them.

So does anyonne have any creative ideas that I could do with the dead roses I have?

If you decide to just dry them and keep them in a nice vase- dry them in the dark. They won't lose their color.


You could press them, make potpurri. Or sprinkle the petals everywhere to make things smell good.

Hi, I have a friend who is 15/16 and she has a problem with drinking alcohol. Whenever she drinks alcohol she doesnt get drunk or tipsy she just feels sick or is sick and last time she barely had much and it was her birthday and she spent all of it in the toilet :[ .
Friends have suggested that she has a problem with her kidneys or whatever but I want to help her but don't have any advice for her.
Now i dont want anyone saying that she shouldnt be drinking at her age because to be honest everyone does it o"o but her parents don't know that she drinks often and so she can't talk to them about it, and she was thinking about going to the doctors about it but wants to be sure first that she has good enough reason to.

please help as she is missing out ;]

She could be allergic to alcohol. She should go to a doctor. Her parents don't have to know why she wants to go- just have her ask if she can go to get everything checked out. She could then ask her doctor what could be wrong.


Getting sick everytime, though, could be a signal from her body that she should NOT be drinking. You don't have to be plastered to have a good time.

does anyone know what is in tea that stains teeth? i love drinking tea but i dont drink it often because i dont want my teeth to get stained. thanks.

It's just one of those foods that stains, like coffee. As long as you brush with whitening toothpaste and maybe occassionally use whitestrips, your teeth will be perfetly white. Don't worry about your teeth turning brown from a few cups a day- that'll only happen if you NEVER brush your teeth. Tea's actually really good for you- so drink up! haha.

I Know it is not a good idea to repost but I think the way I wrote the original post I did
not write clearly for people to understand what I was trying to ask. So here goes (THE
STORY IS THE SAME: Today at work my friend Ginny (who is thin and 5 feet 6 inches
tall) helped Sharon (a customer who is around 5 feet tall). Sharon told Ginny that Sharon
liked the shoes Ginny is wearing and Ginny has big feet not small feet like Sharon due to
the fact Sharon has to shop for shoes in the kids department. HERE IS WHAT I AM
ADDING: Ginny is scared that in the future Sharon will say oh I like that article of
clothing you are wearing, it is a big size I have to shop in the childrens department.
Everyone tells Ginny this will not happen. KEEP IN MIND GINNY IS A SIZE 6 IN
SHOES AND CLOTHES. MY QUESTION: IS Ginny being fearful for no reason; and
when Sharon comes in how can Ginny avoid Sharon or stop Sharon from saying anything.
Should Ginny just say directly to her; Please lets just keep this professional and not talk
about anything personal, like give compliments or anything of that nature.

Sharon's just complimenting her. Ginny has nothing to worry about and is being overly paranoid about everything.


Why would Ginny want to avoid a customer based on the customer's clothing size? That's being discriminatory somehow, isn't it?

I have a razor cell phone, and I was at the beach and got splashed (not bad) but my phone got wet in my pocket.

It didnt turn on for like a few min, like didnt work so i took the battery out and stuff, and it took me a while to turn on.

Well the phone works, but the numbers dont like work , and i cant answer or send calls.
HELP?

Take it apart (you should be able to easily take out the battery and a memory card if you have one in there) and leave it on a towel to dry for a day or two. Your phone should be fine; I've had friends put theirs through the washing machine without the water damage indicator turning red. About that - There's a little white dot somewhere in the battery compartment. If it's turned red, you're basically screwed if your phone needs an update, because that means the warranty is void or something. Regardless, your phone should WORK just fine, good luck trying to use the warranty though.

my best friend is middle eastren and she is muslim. she is really really cool and so open minded. she's nothing like how muslims are portrayed in the media. she goes out has fun but still respects her tradition and stuff and i respect that. recently she's been worried like crazy though. when i asked her she actually confided in me and told me whats the matter... i didn't know what to tell her so i was hoping you guys can help its very serious:


she fell in love with this muslim guy and they love each other soooo much and are planning to get married soon. in islam a girl has to be a virgin to get married and the "only solid proof" of that is if her hymen is still intact. she'as never had sex before so she IS a virgin. that we both know. however, she does masturbate... and she told me she looked it up and it is allowed in islam for her to do so if it meant not having sex before marriage. so far so good. the only problem is that she broke her hymen masturbating and culture/traditional wise no religion wise she will get in so much trouble for that. if she gets married and she doesn't bleed on her first night retributions will be bad (and i mean beyond european and north american bad... i ddnt even want to ask her about them)

now ignore all that. that was just background. my question is there anyway she can repair her hymen? or fake bleeding or something? can a gyno in the states or canada do it for her (she is there to finish college) is there anyyyyway possible to get her out of accusations she is inocent of?

please help she is really panicking... and she cant talk to her parents about it even if she showed them proof that religion does permit it.....it's her country's tradition.....

I've heard of girls having surgery to "repair" their hymen.. but I can imagine it's painful. She should talk to her gynecologisht though- there may be something they can do. Plus, her hymen may not be broken after all, and she could be worrying about nothing.


How open-minded is her boyfriend/fiance/whateverhe's called? Does he know that she may have broken her hymen through other activities, or simply falling down? Your friend should have this conversation with him. I don't know much about their culture, I'll admit. But he doesn't HAVE to tell anyone that she didn't bleed on her wedding night, right?
