Question Posted Monday May 28 2007, 1:45 pm

welll, i'm dating this guy who is 17& a junior& i'm 14& in the 8th grade, next year in novemeber he will be 18& a senior& I will be 15& a freshman.
Do you think this age difference is wrong?

& so i'm allowed to see him I told my mom he was 16 turning 17. I really like him alot, i'm just afriad of getting hurt.
like last night I was with him& we went to a playground& we layed in this tree house& looked at the stars then I fell asleep on his cheast and he didn't kiss me, he'd only kiss my forehead or my hand because he didn't want to rush anything, then he mentioned that his favorite movie was spiderman, so as I was leaving to go back home and he was laying down on the floor and I went over his head& kissed him like they do in the movie, the upside down kiss.
do you think I should have done that?
I really liked last night, alot. <3

It sounds like he's a decent guy to be taking things slow with you. Just remember that a guy of 17 is probably going to want more than you may feel ready for. Make a decision now about how far you are willing to go, and plan what you will say and how you will react if he wants to go further than your limits. And don't give up your plan for a guy who will be leaving for college in a year.

I think he is serious about your relationship :]. most guys want to rub all over you , but he seems down to earth. it's a good thing ;] i bet he liked the kiss , he realized you actually were listening to his interests.

Hey.

I'm 14 and my fiance (yes fiance) is 21.
Remember AGE IS ONLY A NUMBER.

I think the whole upside down kiss was really sweet. If you liked it, and he liked it then there was absolutly nothing wrong with it.

He seems like a great guy.
Don't worry about it.

I honestly don't think the age difference is a big deal. He's not pressuring you to do anything, so it's not like he's using you for sex. Just remember that he's a senior, and will be going to college in a year or so. Be prepared for that.

The SpiderMan thing was really cute. He probably loved it.
