Question Posted Monday May 28 2007, 5:28 pm

we are writing a diary for romeo and juliet and I am doing juliet. I am trying to think of new ways to close the entries. I've used until nextime, yours truly, etc., but i need some more. i have gotten to a sad part in the story so i kind of need one to end it in a sad way. if anyone has any ideas, please let me know! thanks!

unless your teacher kincurs, i dont think that it is a big deal how you close, so you can use the same ones over.

Well, if you're at the part where she's found Romeo dead (after she wakes up from the sleeping draught) you could have her write an antry to Romeo, and end it with "Until we meet again, my love..."

Or just use something sad, like "farewell..." or, "goodbye".

good luck, sounds like an interesting assignment! =]
