Myspace Addict

Question Posted Sunday May 27 2007, 6:28 pm

haha. most of us know how addicting myspace can be, and I had a myspace account for a while and now in high school they ban me from myspace because of drama that happenend with three of my enemies which involved alot of cussing and drama. I want to know the best way to approach my parents and get hem to let me have a myspace account because I'm an addict! :) ;)

As you said, your parents don't want you to have the same problems with myspace that you had before. So you will need to find a way to assure them that those problems won't happen again. For starters, tell them that you understand why they don't want you to have a myspace again. Then tell them how sorry you are about what happened and that you learned a lot of valuable lessons from it. Next, ask them if you have have one again on a trial basis so you can prove to them that you've learned your lesson. Tell them that you'll let them know your password so they can check it whenever they want; or tell them that you will only use it when they are in the room. I know that might be a bit annoying, but it might be the only way they'll let you have one. And if you go for a while without getting involved in any drama, they'll probably ease up and not be so concerned about it anymore. Good luck!

If you really want one, you could always ask a friend if you could set one up at their house and use it when you visit them. Hope my advice helps! ♥ Jenny

If you were addicted to LSD, and your parents took your drugs away, they're not gonna give them back to you because you asked.

Take a break from myspace. It's overrated anyways. What's the big deal? Hardly anyone has actaul conversations anymore. Stick to AIM and phone calls for awhile. You'll soon realize that you were wasting a LOT of time on a stupid WEBSITE- there's more to life than a myspace page.
