A senior girl in my first period's mom passed away on Friday. She wont be coming to school for the rest of the week because of the tragic situation. My teacher was to get a "sympathy card" and get my whole class to sign it saying how sorry they are and all that. I, along with a few other people in the class, don't think it'll be a good idea. WE said so in class today and our teacher just responded with, "Lauren need to know we care about her."

We don't think it's a good idea because she would be just coming back from a whole week at home with her family grieving and she doesn't need all this pity from us. When our teacher told us what happened, all you could hear around the class room was "Oh that sucks, I can't believe she's finishing her senior year without her mom, Prom is going to suck for her, etc." I know those kind of things are going to end up in the card.

At the end of class, we just decide that we weren't going to sign the card but do y'all think there's a way to stop the whole thing?

Explain this to your teacher. If he/she still goes on with it don't try anymore. But what you should do is give her some empathy (sp?). It helps more than sympathy (sp?). What you need to do is have someone who has been through this or something like this to talk to her or write her a letter or something. Talking face to face would be best. Just sitting and talking to this person would help her. Find someone in your class that has lost someone close to them. Have them talk to her for a while or send her an e-mail, letter,ect. Hi, let me start by saying I'm young. 13f and my best friend died. Her brother was hurt really bad and i feel like it was my fault, cuz they were on their way to pic me up when a drunk driver ran into them. First off it is not your fault. The best thing do may just be to go and sit with him in his hospital room. Just sitting and being with him may make him feel better. Possibly talk about his life and what new was going on (before the accident). At some point in the conversation just tell him you are sorry if this is your fault. Then change the subject. Try to stay away from the crash. But being with him will just make you feel better. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck

It is not right to make up lies and split them apart. What you should do is get his AIM screenname (or whatever instant messenger you have) and start talking to him. Start talking about his relationship with his girlfriend. Then just say if anything happens between them you will be there for him. He will question you then say I don't want to come between your relationship but I like you. By the way you typed I can tell you are in middle school or early highschool when relationships don't last too long. So they should break up eventually. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck

ON my bus all the older kids make fun of us younger ones. THey call someone Mulletman and one girl Gorilla GIrl. They are so mean to us but if we confront them they hurt us. :*( Tis soo sad!!! What should I do?

OK, you obviously go to my school. Mulletman is Pat but I do not know who Gorilla Girl is. I know they call Shelly Cell Phone Girl too. If they hurt tell your bus driver. I know it sounds childish and they may make fun of you more but if you take it up with Mr. Bland they won't hurt you again. Or go to Peer to Peer, KTP, or just a quidance consuler (like Ms. Savard one of the all-time coolest teachers ever). I do not believe it will so soon. However, one day it will, without having anything to do with religion. What will make it come to an end will be something caused by nature. The sun is going ot explode sometime because it is a star and stars become novas and explode. Or it will come to an end because of the stupidity of people. We will either destroy the atmosphere, therefore, will have no oxygen or we will get into a nuclear war and blow up the world. However, it will not end because of crime, hate (except contries hating each other), or sexuality. Nevertheless, this is my opinion and this may differ from yours.

I'm not sure what you are asking for so I'll give you some basics.

hair: Don't wash it everyday. That prevents lice. It is a good idea to use conditioner but not too much it would make your hair look greasy. A great product to have around you home is detangler. It will get knots out. Now, for blow drying and striaghtening it will get your hair a bit dry. So when you striaghten only do it once in a while because it does usually last for a few days. Same with crimping. Blow dry you should be alright with. It is fine to blow dry everyday.

makeup: OK, in this question everyone is probably telling you to use bright colors like blue and purple for your eyes. Don't use that unless you are going to some wild party or something like that. Stick to nutrals. It will look much better. Golds, light browns, even a natural red will look better for your eyes. For blush use something that goes alone with your skin tone. For lips if you really want to use a liner don't use a heavy one. Some lip gloss or lipstick should be good.

skin: If you are in puberty don't mosterisize too much. It will cause pimples. Also try not to use blush or conceler. It will only make it worse. Every night try to use some skin care produt on your face. If you break out use pimple cream.

First off have a little talk with him. Tell him if he keeps joking around that it's over. Explain that the little 'jokes' as he probably calls them are starting to hurt. I do find this very sad. But no, the world isn't going to come to an end. They will find a new pope. First we mourn for 9 days. Then all the cardinals come together and vote on who the new pope should be. This, however, takes a while. Pope John Paul II is probably going to become a saint because he changed the rosery but he also needs to have two miracles while he is dead. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck

ok im really hungry and im home alone. there really isnt alot of food in the house but we have tostito corn chips and i wanna make some kind of dip with them. if you have any easy dip recipes for tostitos with stuff that can be easily found in the house please give me one!! i have alot of mexican shredded cheese but thats really not enough to make a good dip. i have some more stuff on hand..just any dip recipe for tortillas would work. thanks!

This is a very simple recipe but it tastes good. Take some salsa put it in a bowl. Now put a little less sour cream on top of it. It's not nessicary but if you have gacamole (sp?) put a little on top of the sour cream. Then spinkle the shredded cheese on top. You don't need much so don't freak out because you don't have a ot. Honestly you need to stop freaking out your 13. Your friend is 12 and she had 7 boyfriends? OK I saw the ratings you gave other people for saying she's a tramp and such but come on, that's pushing it really close. And you shouldn't worry about it. Think about it this way: you are really waiting for your first love and not acting like whatever guy in sight is. You are waiting for that speacial one. And keep waiting. Hey, i have had this girl as my girlfriend for a month and 3 1/2 weeks.
