braces
Hey, i have had this girl as my girlfriend for a month and 3 1/2 weeks. But, we have not kissed yet, the main reason is, because we both have braces, i am affraid of all the roumours of linked braces that are going around. I get my braces off in June or July, and i am having her over tonight with a few friends for a movie night, should i got ahead and kiss her, or should i wait til i get my braces off and play it safe?

i dont think thats true, look at you braces and youll see that there arent that many gaps or places were you 2 can get linked together. i wouldnt judge by the braces but how you both feel about each other

I don't know how old you are... but since it's been a month and 3 weeks... I say go for it. Your braces will not get stuck together. If you're pretty young then I guess that's not a long time to wait for kissing... idunno. I usually have already kissed guys before I go out with them. Anyway... about the braces... I have braces and my bf got his off like a month ago... but before that we never had problems. If you're teeth even touch then you're doing it wrong. Your teeth shouldn't touch.

Who the hell told you that when two people with braces make out they get stuck? That's not true at all! A past boyfriend had braces and I still do, we kissed a few times and we never got caught. Yeah he made my tongue bleed because he was a really bad kisser and tried to bite my tongue for God only knows what reason, but our braces didn't get linked. It's impossible for that to happen if you really think about it. I would say go for it and kiss her! But the only thing is, making out with your girlfriend infront of your friends is very rude. Friends have done that to me and I find it very rude, so try to kiss her when you're <i>not</i> with your friends. My boyfriend and I both have braces. We have never encountered a problem with them at those uhh... certain moments.
In other words, yes, it is safe to kiss her. Don't listen to rumors. I mean yes, it is possible, but it is not probable.

My girlfriend has had braces for awhile now, though I've never had braces, I've never had problems getting myself stuck. (And we've been quite fervid). I don't really think you'd be smashing teeth together, so there should be no reason to worry about such.
