Hey,
I have horrible frizzy, thick hair and i like it best when its straight. I.ve tried a range of products (straightening serums, shampoos, conditioners, sprays..) but nothing seems to work at all. i have one of those 'wet to straight' straighteners (£80) and if you use it when its wet it frazzles your hair and i think it ruins it (its says it locks in moisture but im not too sure it does). I've tried Sunsilk straight and sleek, Frizz ease, shockwaves extreme straightener..etc..and im going to try that Hot Straight from the advert that stars Beyonce. My bathroom is filling up with half used hair products and i want to find one that works.
Also i dont even know how to apply all of these products so they could be exactly what im looking for but i just do it wrong.
I want smooth, sleek and straight hair where it seems every hair strand is individual and soft . I want it to be dead straightand shiny so if i had it in bunched and took it out it would bounce back into straightness
If you know anything that will make this happen or ave any advice please help me..:-)

okay well thoose wet2straight hair straigheteners dont ruin your hair if you know how to use them, but dont work to well when your hair is wet. i would use a normal straightener, i like vidal sassoon, when its dry and when its not use wet2straight and then run over it quickly with a normal straightener. and as for frizzease, that helps your curls stand out, so i wouldnt use that. but if you dont have time to straighten it or you burnt your hair and cant straighten your hair for a little bit, i would use scrunching spray or mousse to make you curls stand out, but only brush you hair before you put the product in ((thats for when you dont straighten it))

Ok well i'm 16 and cute (lol if i do say so myself :D ) ok well I have pretty thick hair. Its not like obesely thick or whatever but it's thick... and its not like extremely frizzy or crimpy or anything... but it gets a bit frizzy after blow drying it and its naturally wavvy. Do you have any advice for me? I hate that it's as thick as it is. I dont even shower every day BECAUSE that means i would have to do my hair all over again and it takes forever to straighten. When I blowdry it straight it not only takes forever, but it poofs out and i have to sleep on it like 3 nights in order for it to look good. some days I even had to go to school with it greasy just because it sucks when i wash it. ugh its so annoying! any ideas besides chemically straightening it and getting it thinned out (already done the thinning and chemically straighening it isnt an option for me) (link)

okay, well if straightening your hair with a blowdyer sucks. steaighten it with a flat iron when its dry. when its wet, dont blow dry it! i would put mousse in or scrunching spray and then scrunch it to make your waves and curls stand out. dont brush it, only once before you butthe mousse or spray in. ((you can brush it when you straighten it tho)) i hope i helped!

I can never eat breakfast- one because I'm a bit lazy because I'm tired and two because I'm not a big fan of it, but I know it's unhealthy not to eat it and I know you can gain weight from not eating it because then you pig out at lunch and the rest of the day. Any suggestions [besides fruit] and please note that I'm on a tight scheduale and don't have alot of time to eat or prepare it [no cereal suggestions, please] (link)

i odnt eat breakfest either, its not that bad for you if you dont pig out, but eat a little bit more at luch, its only a few hours diffrence.but for some peoples body, you need breakfest. just grab a juice box and maybe a energy or ceral bar on your way out and eat on the way to school or work.

sounds like shes younger, and if she is she looks up to you. i would do stuff withher, thats all she wants. do stuff with her and then when she does that kinda stuf, say you will stop doing stuff with her. or tell her for wearing your clothes and stuff, to ask or youll stop. this should work, and get your parents happy becasue you are occasionally doing stuff together, and you worked it out by yourselves.

depends on how fast your hair grows, everyone gets thier hair back at a diffrent pace. and they have special nair for your face. it will have a thing that you use to apply it and stuff. id buy that for your face if i were you.

This is a VERY long story so bear with me.
My father got re-married about three years ago. The woman he married, Karen, was perfectly nice until their wedding day, when she did a total Jekyll and Hyde (sp?) and went totally psycho. She started taking my stuff, hiding it or ripping it up, but never admitting that it was her. For a couple of years now my father's side of the family accused me of making it all up. However, about a year ago now, Karen sent a completely bitchy email, the details of which I won't bother going in to, which meant I stopped seeing her and my father's side of the family. Since then she has sent many more nasty texts and emails accusing me of all sorts and threatening to take the child benefit away from my mother, etc etc etc (I am aware that she couldn't legally do this).
Recently, her 'psycho stuff' has become a lot worse. She started sending odd letters - the address on the envelope disguised as a child's writing and saying on the back of the envelope, 'from Ryan' (Ryan is my younger cousin). Inside would be photographs of me, often cut up so I am the only one in the picture, and stuck onto a background of coloured card or paper. We knew she must be sending these because she is the only one, other than my father, with the access to these particular photographs (me on holiday with my father and Karen).
So, my (paternal) Nan confronted her and Karen has admitted that she sent the letters. She says it is because my father goes to work away a lot and she gets 'bored'. I personally feel that that doens't even qualify as an excuse to do what she has done - for weeks we had been terrified of who these letters were from, and I'm still scared to go out of the house (even into my backgarden) on my own incase she is lurking around.
Karen has since written a letter of apology to my mother's parents. WHY she sent it to them, I have no idea. My grandad doesn't want to take any further action, but there is no way that I am just sitting here and taking 'I was bored' as an excuse for putting my family through all the crap she has over the years (I have only mentioned a small amount of what she has done here). But what can I do?
She begged my grandad to NOT tell me and my mother that it was her who had sent the letters, but of course we know because WE figured it out in the first place. So, I think that if I do do anything, she will think my grandad has told me she did it, or my mother has put me up to doing whatever I would do. That means she might well hurt my grandad or my mother (I wouldn't put it past her - please no-one reply saying 'she wouldn't do that' because you don't know this woman. I do).
My mother thinks that I deserve an apology, not only from Karen but from all of my father's family for not believing me in the first place, but to me, 'sorry' just wouldn't cut it. 'Sorry' isn't a big enough word to make everything she has done go away. But what can I do? I know I could go to the police but my grandad doesn't think I should take any further action and I don't want to hurt or disappoint him. But on the other hand, there is NO WAY I am taking 'I am bored' as her reason.
There is also the problem that she doesn't know that me and my mother know she is the one who sent the letters. My father also doesn't know a THING about the letters yet, and although I don't get on with him, I want him to know - I'd want to know if my wife was doing something like that.
So, in summary, my question is: What can I do? Because there is no way I will do nothing. And how do I let Karen know that I know what she did? What else could I 'get out' of her other than an apology, something I don't want as I know it would mean nothing (she's already apologised to my grandparents, as I said, but that was only to stop them telling my father).
Sorry this was so long, and thanks in advance for any help. I'm fifteen, female, and don't see any of my father's family other than my Nan, if that helps.

i would tell your father rite away. he needs to know. also i would take this to court. she needs help. she might have mental illness, or something. ypu cant let this continue. she moght do something drastic. take action before she hurts, or does something worse, to you and your family members. if your mother wont go to court, and i no your grandparents dont want to, try to convince them, otherwise just go to the police station and tell them. theyll do something. but DEFINATELY call your dad. and pray at night, God can help. ugh i hope i helped and good luck!

hi. not everyone gets their period once a month. it is normal for people especially your age to get it every few months. if you still dont get it after a while, talk to your mom. your mom would probably feel gald that you came and sat down to talk to her.

i have just bought my daughter a guitar for her 8th birthday. I never had a chance as a kid so dont want my kids to miss out,. the only problem is that i dont know anything with regards to tuition on guitar so wondered if any1 knows best course of action for my daughter to learn.

look in the phonebook under guitar or music and try to find a good music school that shell have fun at. not one to serious, then she'll just hate it.but one thta teaches you the basics, then lets you bring in music YOU want to learn. i suggest private lessons. they should cost about 14-15$

Hey, i have had this girl as my girlfriend for a month and 3 1/2 weeks. But, we have not kissed yet, the main reason is, because we both have braces, i am affraid of all the roumours of linked braces that are going around. I get my braces off in June or July, and i am having her over tonight with a few friends for a movie night, should i got ahead and kiss her, or should i wait til i get my braces off and play it safe? i dont think thats true, look at you braces and youll see that there arent that many gaps or places were you 2 can get linked together. i wouldnt judge by the braces but how you both feel about each other

a bichon frise!!! they are perfect! they are small-only about 15 pounds! they are white, the most hypo-allergenic dog(that eans most people arent allegic to them),dont shed...AT ALL!, very easy to train, and are cute! ashlee simpson has one!! so do i - -> so you know they rock! lol another good dog is a goldendoodle (golden reciever and poodle) they are VERY cute and dont shed much, but bigger then a bichon!
