karenR answered Thursday March 31 2005, 12:57 am: Having or not having sex has nothing to do with yeast infections.
here you go:
Itching
Irritation
redness and swelling
unusually thick,white discharge
Some discharge is quite normal so unless you have some of the other symptoms I wouldn't worry about it to much. If you do, see your doc...easily taken care of.:) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]

If so, then that's called discharge and it's normal because it helps clean out your body. Here are some symptoms of yeast infections:
-Vaginal itching that is often severe.
-Vaginal discharge that is usually white, curdlike, and odorless.
-Red, irritated skin around the opening to the vagina (labia).
-Pain while urinating when urine touches irritated skin.
-Pain in the vagina during sexual intercourse.
StiLLwiShinG_1217 answered Wednesday March 30 2005, 6:28 pm: that doesn't sound like a yeast infection. a yeast infection is when it gets uncomfortable and itchy in your vaginal area. for that there is a home remedy... if you want it you can im me. or you can go to your local cvs or pharmacy and get over the counter pills that will cure it. however, in your condition, i think it's best to tell your mom and go to the doctor. discharge such as that can be a sign of something nasty, not to scare you, but something like genital herpes. so yes, a doctor is my advice. or you can consult your local pharmacist as to what to do for it as well. if you need me, im me =)
