Well the lines of fashion now really vary depending on the person's style. Like if you look at runway looks, the styles are pretty unusual.
I can't really tell you what kind of stores have the latest fashion cuz I don't know what style you're into, but I'm into classy looks so here are a couple of stores I'd recommend.
-Forever 21 (reasonable prices)
-Charlotte Russe (reasonable to pricey)
-Victoria's Secret (pricey and yes, they sell clothes too)
-Express (pricey)
-Guess (pricey)
-Armani Exchange (pricey)
-Any department store (they have a variety of different styles and the prices range from reasonable to pricey; some good stores are Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Dillards, JcPenney, etc.)

Go to the Thrift Store. They always have tons of stuff really cheap.

well some of the stores with the hottest clothes are like, abercrombie, holister, pacsun, aeropostle, dkny, n e way....you dont have to go to these stores to find these brands, sometimes you can find great deals at tj max, marshals, or even platoes closet, which is a store that sells used clothing from all those stores! i mostly shop at american eagle, abercrombie, aeropostale, hollister, wet seal, & goody's and i was voted best dressed at school so i think they are good places. hope this helped!!

no offense to anyone, but, all the stores listed are "preppy" stores. don't get me wrong, i have no problem with that. it's just that i live in the city, philly, and the hottest clothes around here are stuff by rocawear and baby phat. yeah.. urban clothes. my point is, it depends on where you are from because fashion is different in different areas.
