O.k i'm 14/fm and live in Texas. I want a b.f. so badly, but none of the boys at my school like me cause i have braces, and i'm 5ft 2inch. I've had boyfriends, but they were'nt very much true b.f.'s. I'm always told by a friend or something that i'll never have a true b.f. that actually likes me, cause they eather say i'm not pretty enough or i'm not smart enough. My dad says i'm pretty, and i get all a's in my classes. How come guy's still don't like me. Maybe a guy could answer this question for me. Thanx lots.

You're 14... so most guys around your age range are gonna be shallow. But I'm almost 17 and I have braces... but I also have a few guys who like me and a bf who loves me. You'll find someone... it just takes time sometimes to find them. But these guys who just say that they won't date you because you have braces are shallow and they are not worth your time. Find somebody who will love you for you. It's hard and it takes time... but hang in there

I'm 16, i get told i'm pretty, 5'3, 120lbs, brown hair and eyes, sophmore, friendly, funny, and i love just about everyone... ok well thats the 411 on me but theres a huge problem with it: I'm sick of being single! Ive been single for waaaayyyy too long now. I want a real relationship that lasts! I used to like this one guy who just got out of a really long relationship, so that obviously didnt work out so well... then i started liking this other guy who goes to another school (i still kinda like him now too but things are confusing) and i THINK he likes me too. He's let me drive his car w/o my permit, he's taken me to this romantic park that i really wanted to go to so i metioned it to him and he surprized me, he didnt smoke for a week because i dont like it, he's spontaneously stopped by my house to pick me up, he takes pics of me on his camera and he left a message on my phone last week saying that he was looking through them and seeing me made him happy so he thought he'd call me... basically hes done adorable things like that! but the problem his he has a gf that he got after i started having a thing for him... i heard about it before he talked to me about it and he said "do you think i was sober when i asked her out?? no.." and "youre better than her, thats why i'm more worried about you being mad right now than even being with her" but yet like 3 weeks later he's STILL going out with her. I have a feeling he likes me, but since i'm not a skank i wont do all the things that his "gf" will do with him (i wont do them especially because he has the gf now). I think that he's falling for me and my personality but he's still with her because he wants some.. but i dont want that at all! I want a boyfriend who will love me for me.. i dont want to get played!!! what should I do?? PLEASE (link)

I had this same problem for a while too... but you don't have to be a "skank" to do things with people. I mean if you're just not comfortable because you've never done any of that stuff... then tell him that. And if he's worth it then he will understand and help you out. Just tell him that it will take you a little longer to get used to things... and you just want to take things a little slower. It sounds like he really likes you... but if he's not gonna be with you just because of the sexual things... then he's not worth it. So if he's willing to take it slow with you and get rid of his other gf... then he sounds like a winner... otherwise just keep looking.. it's all you can do :/

Hey, i have had this girl as my girlfriend for a month and 3 1/2 weeks. But, we have not kissed yet, the main reason is, because we both have braces, i am affraid of all the roumours of linked braces that are going around. I get my braces off in June or July, and i am having her over tonight with a few friends for a movie night, should i got ahead and kiss her, or should i wait til i get my braces off and play it safe? I don't know how old you are... but since it's been a month and 3 weeks... I say go for it. Your braces will not get stuck together. If you're pretty young then I guess that's not a long time to wait for kissing... idunno. I usually have already kissed guys before I go out with them. Anyway... about the braces... I have braces and my bf got his off like a month ago... but before that we never had problems. If you're teeth even touch then you're doing it wrong. Your teeth shouldn't touch.

I think you might be using the wrong word maybe... if he's whipped then you would have to be the "whipper" and always asking him to do things and he does em. I think you might mean clingy maybe... because that can get obnoxious. But the thing is it's not like there's a test or anything cuz it's not a disease or anything or a real thing. But umm... whatever he's doing you should talk to him about it. That's the only way he'll change is if you tell him whatis bothering you and explain it then he can work on it.

I heard from a sourced that there is a really cute dude that likes me. I personally dont know If I should take her word for it since we have different taste. wait so you're not sure if you should take her word that he's cute? or that he likes you? Because if you don't know him then how can he like you? But idunno... you can't usually take anybody else's word for things. I've had so many of my friend tell me that some guy likes me or something... and then I find out later that they don't. Just try to figure out who this guy is and see for yourself if he's cute. If he is then hey call him up :P

Im 13 years old. A lot of the other girls have boy friends and all but ofcourse i dont. ive never even had a first kiss or went on a date with a boy. Its not like im ugly because im not really. i just dont know...it just feels like that time is never going to come??.. (link)

I didn't have my first until I was 15!! I felt so behind everybody... but I talked to a lotta people once I was in high school and there were a LOT more people who still hadn't had their first kiss... I'm 16 now and a lot of the people my age still haven't. So really it may SEEM like you're the only one... but you're really not.. it'll happen eventually. I never thought it would for me either and it did. Just hang in there you're not alone and you're still 2 years younger than when it happened to me. :)

Ok you see I like this guy a LOT!! I mean a lot and he is shy and gentle and very sweet. I have the feeling that he likes me too because we flirt a lot during one of the classes I have with him but for some reason he won't ask me out. You see, I have never been on a date before and I really want my first date with him. I don't want to ask him out because when I'm older I want to remember that on my first date a boy I like asked me out instead of me asking him out!!I know it may sound weird but PLEASE, I really do love him and I really do want to go out with him!! Today I saw his face for the first time in almost 4 weeks because of winter breaks and he got sick so had to miss a week and he was absolutely gorgeous!! But I don't love him for his looks I love him by being himself and a lot more other reasons I cannot explain in words!! The problem is how do I get him to ask me out!! OH, NO what if he doesn't like me, I mean I think he likes me because he flirts with me but not with other girls and he always smiles!! By the way I'm 13 years old and a girl. (link)

he might not wanna ask you out because he if afraid that you don't like him either... so just try telling him how you feel and maybe you will get to talking about going out and he will ask you. What I usually do is I write a note to the guy in word telling him how I feel and save it and then online or something a few days later copy and paste it without reading it again because you will get second thoughts about it... so just do it! I know IM is kind of a lame way to do it... but I'm too shy with feelings to do it any other way. So if it seems like a do-able things for you then go for it! I'm the shyest person ever when it comes to telling someone I like them... and this has always worked for me.
