I finally updated my picture, I thought it was time for an update on it so I picked my favorite picture. After all, my previous picture was almost 2 and a half years old!
My name is Ryan. And I will answer most everything you want to ask to the best of my God given ability.But I will not sugar coat any answer and I will give MY advice. I don't care about my ratings, so don't think giving me a 1 for an answer you don't want to hear will scare me. And if you already know what you should do about a sitaution, don't come to us here at advicenators asking for a second opinion. And here below is a list of questions you should NOT ask on advicenators. Granted some of them may vary and be acceptable, but overall don't ask the below questions on Advicenators.
**Don't ask questions like "OMG i heard this song on the radio with "insert pointless pop lyrics here" and i wanna know what it is so what is it! Thanks!! I rate 5sssss! hearts". This question can be simply googled with the lyrics, or you need only ask a friend
**Don't ask "ok so there is the hott guy/gal in my class and he/she like got me a *insert gift or simple trinket here* do you think he/she likes me?" This is the most common question here on this website sadly. Unless it is vitally important and actually pertains to a feeling of true feelings, don't ask it. This is most asked by teens. And what teens need to learn is "love" is not thinking a guy/girl is sweet and hott and nice. I know love, and it is so far from all those things. Remember Cicero when he said "Out of all the emotions, love is the most violent. Love is madness."
**"Ok so me and my boyfriend had sex last night and we like used no protection omg he came in me do you think i am pregnant?" Ugh. Stupid teens and their hormones. IF YOU HAVE SEX YOU ALWAYS RUN THE RISK OF PREGNANCY, UNLESS YOUR STERILE. And if you don't know anything about sex, you shouldn't be doing it. Even if you "love" your partner, half the time this is a disallusion and you will end up hurt. Sex is for marriage.
**Or asking what's "in" for fashion, or what they should wear out tonight. Or what is "cute" and what looks good. Pick and choose for yourself what you like, think for yourself instead of trying to let other people do it for you. Stand up and be yourself.
These are the most common questions I have seen on Advicenators. Now there are a few questions that are very good questions and deserve the 3 rating and the best answer possible. But they are usually blocked out with the kinds of questions listed above. If you want to ask something, check the following off that I am listing.
1.Does the question pertain to anything important or trivial?
2.Is proper grammar used?
3.Is the question long and in one paragraph?
4.Is it a question that you yourself can answer?
5.Is there enough detail?
Following those 5 guidelines, you can write a good 3 point answer. That about wraps it up.
I spend alot of time online and here on advicenators, so if you ever need anything then just send something in my inbox or IM me. I'm not opposed to helping people at all, in fact I love doing it. I just want some people to wake up from asking a stupid question.

What the hell is wrong with boys? I don't understand them. When I don't talk to them, they say that I'm being unfriendly. And when I try to tell them and talk to them bout emotional stuff, they run away thinking that I'm in love with them. And when I try to tell them bout more emotional and philosophical stuff, they tell me that they dun understand wat I'm talking bout. Can someone please freaking tell me what wrong am I doing? I'll assume your a teenager. And I will go from there.
Most teenage boys are jacks and jerks. And being one of them and being on that side, I can say that. Most guys will not take any responsiblity or provide any second consideration to most anyones feelings, which is partly why I consider this generation screwed and doomed.
I wouldn't be pissed at all boys, because you don't have a reason to be pissed at all of them. Only the ones you've tried to talk to are being that way. Perhaps you should find boys that will actually be a friend to you and listen to you?
I will tell you right now, I listen to girl troubles each and every day, and I am a guy. And I don't consider it any trouble, hassle, or anything else wrong. I'm just being a friend and half of the girls I talk to will wonder why I am doing such a thing, because no other guy will. It's sad, because it should be a norm, but it isn't.
Your not doing anything wrong, you just caught a bad rift and got born into the doomed generation. But for all of it's shortcomings, there are boys out there that will listen and actually talk with you on things you want to talk to them about, without running away screaming. Not all boys are like that, and please remember that.
It seems any concept of gentlemanship and chivarly has passed from this world, and I am left in the wake. Bah.

You don't love him, let's start with that.
How could you love someone you don't even know and talk to? You don't, and that is simple and stated.
Try finding someone you KNOW to vent your sadness and love on, instead of lamenting over a guy you never knew. It makes no sense to linger like that.
Just move on and find someone else.

*Edit* It is painfully obvious to tell if you love someone or not. Or rather, how to distinguish love from everything else. That is how I am able to say on half my answers I give to people "you don't love them" because from what they've written, they don't.

I've had a crush on a boy since I was in third grade. Now I am going into sixth when school starts again. I asked him out in fourth grade and he said "Yes I will go out with you." Everyone found out thou. A month later he came up to me and said "You know we are just friends." Then I would say "Ya, I know."
I love him not like him. He is a christain (And I am supposed to marry a christain). And I was going to go up to him and say," Why did you say we were just friends when we were going out and if it is because everyone knew then we can go back out starting now and no one has to know.

Jeez, how the hell young are kids getting to begin their relationships? Freund discribed interaction at a young age, but this is ridiculous.
I will clarify some things for you.
*He is young and so are you, any relationship at that level will end in hurt, hands down.
*You don't love him. Love to someone who is only in the sixth grade isn't love, you only know love to your family, and to no one else at this point, despite what you think.
*Don't bother "dating" until one or two years from now. Then the age level is a bit more appropriate. I mean...half the kids in your class havn't even hit puberty yet...
I rest my case, leave it be for now and just be friends until you are old enough to grasp the concept of a relationship better.

My friend thinks she's pregnant.
She wants an abortion.
She had sex a week and a half after her period. Its been quite a while since she got her last period.

Either way, she will have to tell her parents, whether you get the abortion or not. The truth will come out sooner or later.
Honestly, I don't know how anyone could consider abortion. She made the mistake of having sex and not wanting the possible result. Why should the baby, if any, suffer because she made a huge mistake?
If she is pregnant, she is going to have to tell her parents and to be quite honest, I would advice againts abortion. The psychological effects later on in life have shown to be quite devestating. Living with the guilt of taking a life (yeah, it is a life, it feels pain and can interact with it's environment) for someone so young could be overwhelming.
Give the baby up for adoption if she is pregnant and if she isn't, let it be a lesson not to have sex unless she is ready to accept responsibilty for the possible outcome.

If he has never cheated, why are you worried? You shouldn't be. Hanging out with girls when you have a girlfriend..there is nothing wrong with that.
You shouldn't worry, you said he has never cheated and I will assume you trust him, so don't give it a second thought.

I might be pregnant, Il find out in a couple of weeks if i miss my period or not but im so stressed out about that fact that i might be pregnant this could cause my period to be late. You keep the baby and accept responsiblity for getting pregnant.
Abortion is simply out of the question, the ability to kill an unborn child shows no love whatsoever, nor any good sense of morality..
And yes, your going to have to tell your family. You got yourself into it, and the only ones who will be able to help you will be your family. Though they may be mad, I don't know any family who will completely turn their backs to their child in need.
After birth, you could put it up for adoption, but that is your choice. You made the choice to have sex and therefore you became at risk for pregnancy, you live with the actions you chose, and that is all you can do.

ok well..... i am not sure to believe in evolution or religious ways cause i mean if you look at the videos from the eighties like Aha 's "take on me" video ...the women and men look different and i actually believe in evolution because i look in pictures from long time ago and only SOME people look different from present day people and some look like they are from our time..so.. i also want believe that we came from god because we all look different..and we are NOT attracted to EVERYONE...because we all look different right? i believe in both...so..this is so confusing please help lol.. i cant take it!!!! Evolution after the point of creation.
Meaning, God made the basics, and through his design, things evolved.
I don't see how people can be so set into evolution. Evolution from nothing is basically some cells "magically" came together to form higher grade cells, which in turn formed complex life. Life is way, way, WAY to complex for that.
To me, I have no doubt evolution takes place, we see it every day, but I also have no doubt that God is there. I simply cannot believe the whole theory of evolution, but I will believe the part I know to be true.

I saw on the news that there was a missle launched or something and that one is planned to hit the United States. I think it was from Japan? Im really scared right now. Does anyone know what this is? Also, if it ever does hit, what would happen to us? (link)

No threat whatsoever.
The missiles were a simple demonstration of their will to develope and deply conventional and nuclear missles. It was partly in response to U.S. talks to stop their nuclear program. The only thing the missile tests proved was to show everyone else what they could do.
The missiles were, in a sense, duds with no means whatsoever to explode. And even if they were supposed to explode, they exploded 35 seconds into flight.
Technologically speaking, the only place in the U.S. the North Koreans could hit would be on the Alaskan coast. And that is with a low grade ICBM (Intercontinental Ballistic Missile. But you have to remember, their are U.S. Army bases in both South Korea, Japan, and numerous islands in the pacific that are well within a strike range for even medium range SCUD missiles.
Either way, the test only proved North Korea is just out stupid. Nuclear capability on the scale they would eventually try to use it for only gets you enemies, never power. The North Koreans are only nailing their coffins if they think they are going to use their coming nuclear "power" for some revenge or conquest.

*edit* I don't know where Starbrightbaby got her info, but North Korea hardly has the technology or capabilities to even come close to hitting the White House. It would take a very, very powerful missiles to make a trip that long, so I HIGHLY doubt the North Korean really expected to do it, especially since a good blunk of North Korean military hardware is outdated Soviet made military hardware. You might try specific searches.
Such as googling "the price of (insert item here) in Romania". Or you may find websites that are specific to Romania, say a Romanian website that details their prices on homemade and manufactured shirts. From there, the prices should be near the same.
Just look around, it is there, all you have to do is find it. And if you happen to find anything interesting, let me know because I am trying to travel to Romania for the summer after I graduate.

Well, you have a computer with the internet.
You now have billions of things to do. Find some games online to play. Or if you would rather be active, go outside and just enjoy it yourself.
Go out and make new friends, because it sounds like the friends you have...aren't good friends at all because they will be friends with you during the school year, but yet won't talk to you in the summer.
Just my 2 cents. There are literally hundreds of things to do outside and billions of things to do on the Net. Pick something that you want to do and go with it.

Ebay and Amazon.com still carry stocks.
It is an absolute shame they discontinued the 4th gen iPods (iPod mini, 20gb, 40gb, etc). They were the perfect design and had decent software.
Usually on eBay you can get a 4th gen mini with click wheel for about $125-$150, which is a very good deal. I myself am getting ready to buy a 4th gen 20gb iPod off of eBay for about $150.
The type of iPod you get fits your personality. A 4gb iPod barely held all the music I wanted it too. You may not listen to as much music or you might. Plan ahead and get the right amount of gb, because picking and choosing songs and artists is no fun. How much music do you listen to? Plan for that.
And as a note about the nano's, I hate them. They are way, WAY too tiny. They can break extremely easy due to their size and there were issues with software when they were first released. Whereas an iPod mini is just the PERFECT size for your hand and a 4gb iPod holds more than the Nano's. The maximum amount of gb a Nano gets is 2gb at about $200 (which is about...500ish songs).
Now figure, $125-$150 for a 4gb iPod Mini that holds 1000ish songs, campared to a more expensive iPod Nano that holds half of that. There really is no comparison. Better buy, more music, and a better iPod. My advice to you is shop around eBay and Amazon.com for 4gb iPod mini's and save yourself a good $50 and get more music.

I am a 15 year old girl in Australia. My boyfriend is getting really serious, He has started talking about how he's going to ask me to marry him sometime soon and i'm getting really freaked out. When i tried to tell him how i feel, he got all upset thinking i don't love him. I really do, but he wouldn't listen. He got sp upset he started hurting himself a little and when i apologised and everything he finally calmed down, he told me he could have killed himself, and he kept using that against me, Until i was crying.
Later he told me he was sorry and shouldn't have said any of that stuff. But every time i try to talk to him about how i feel, he threatens me with suecide. I can't do anything because i am scared he will do something really bad. (link)

I am assuming, for the sake of argument and age, your boyfriend is/is near the same age as you.
How he could even fathom marriage when you are 15 is just...amazing. He knows no love if he is willing to hurt himself and threaten you with his suicide if the conversation turns to something he doesn't like.
The relationship is bad and so is his conduct. Agreeing with TheTeenGirl I second you getting an adult involved and getting this settled. I am sure you like him, but at 15 neither of you are even close to ready for a commitement like marriage. And to me, personally, I think you need to end the relationship, for both your sakes. Even if you do like him, I highly doubt you will get anywhere with him.
Get someone involved and make him listen. You shouldn't be bound by his selfishness and rudeness. To even threaten to hurt himself like that because you just want to talk about your feelings is just pathetic. Get an adult involved and settle this before he even can think of hurting himself.

I agree with them 100%. Love is something shared between two people, very RARELY is it ever one sided. Sure it can be, but there had to be something there before for it to be.
In any case, you need to tell him you like him. Bottling up that kind of emotion can be serious on your health and on your body (I know this, just trust me on that)
Even if it makes things akward, you need to tell him. Your never gonna find out anything if you just sit and keep everything to yourself. Your not going to find out how he feels and all your left to do is wonder what might have been if you just keep everything to yourself.

Seek professional help immediately.
After 4 years of cutting and your reliance on it, you are addicted to it. You need to find a professional to help you so you can stop. Medication, talking, and will are the only things that will help bring you out of this.
Your friends and boyfriend are mad at you about this because they care about you. They want to see you helped. You havn't stopped or seeked helped, so they are growing anger. Caring can go down to that level.
Please, please go see someone about this and get yourself treated any way. You can fix your self esteem and depression issues then and there too. Just please go get help.
And don't just do it because I advised you to, but because your friends and boyfriend want to see you helped to.
Please find help, and I'll say a prayer that you get it.
