This happens to everyone . There isn't really an easy way to get over him. It takes a lot of time. I know it may not be easy but think about him. Remember the good times you have. Then you need to talk to him. Tell him you are happy for him. If you really loved him you would be happy for him. He is happy and that should let you know everything is alright. Yes, it is natural to want to get over him and you should. But just remember he is your friend and wants the best for you too. However, you need to find this out yourself. Don't go brunette. Unlike what everyone else said that is the color that is now so common and unorignal. I would go a darker red or dark blonde. A dark blonde will get you less rude comments and dark reds are really pretty.

I love the intimacy of sharing a bed with my partner, but there's no denying that we get on each others nerves. I'm a reasonably light sleeper, and he snores. I also toss and turn quite a lot and take a while to get to sleep, whereas he seems to be a sleep (and snoring, keeping me awake!) within minutes.

Are we both doomed to a life of broken sleep, or is there a solution? Any suggestion on how to get him to stop snoring or to help me get to sleep more quickly would be appreciated.

My parents used to have the same problem. My mom was a light sleeper and my dad moves around in his sleep. It came to the point where my dad usually slept in another room to keep my mom undisturbed. What they did was got a new matress (sp?). It was the NASA foam kind. It does work. They always get a good amount of sleep. Also your partner should see a doctor to try and work out the snoring problem. It may be allergies. Even if it's not he can still get a perscription for mediciane to stop snoring. ok so i am 14 are there any jobs i could get at 14 this summer?

McDonald's and Buger KIng are the only jobs I know of that hire at that age. However, look around all the same. Babysitting is a good job as well if you work well with kids. You could probably be a secrtary at an office if you know many people who work there. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck

I'm never really sure what to say to the question "I love your shoes! Where did you get them?" or any other clothing item because I really don't want to say anything to incriminate me. The popular kids will laugh if you answer anything like "target", "payless shoe store", or some other department store, and the kids that I'm friends with call me stupid if I tell them that I bought them at Hollister. What is a generic answer that I can say that will satisfy everyone?

where are some good places where i can download music onto my laptop?(it doesnt have to be free)and how does this work? if i want to listen to downloaded songs do i have to go on the website or do i not have to be on the internet? im asking because for my sweet 16 im thinking of doing the music from my laptop. is it continuous play or do i have to manually click the song? can i plug big speakers into the laptop? thank you for your help...5's to everyone somewhat helpful

A great thing to use is iTunes. And you don't need an iPod to use it. You simply go to www.itunes.com and download it. The songs are $0.99 each. THe also have almost every song. Including, ones from years ago. Personally, I love it. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck

Me and my friend have been friends since Kindergarden. (currently in 8th grade) And in 7th grade this girl moved here and we've been friends ever since. But i try very hard to include both of them in all that i do.. and not ignore them. But then when she was in 5th grade here and this other girl became friends and ever since and it seems like i'm always being ignored by her. I understand that she has to have other friends and stuff but i feel like i should be indluded in some of the stuff she does. like occasionally go to her house. and when i invite her to my house.. it always seems like something 'comes up' and she never gets to come.. either that or she already has plans with the other girl. I don't wanna break the friendship.. but i just don't know what to do.. Any suggestions?

WOW. No really WOW. I am having this same exact problem with my best friend. Espacillay something that recently happened but I'm not going to talk about it if one of my friends visited my column. Anyway if you see her at school talk to her there. Explain everything you said here to her and even tell her about this question. Say to her that you feel your friendship is falling apart. This could make all the difference. Plan a date when just the two of you can be together. Make sure she has no other plans and her parent know too. That way you two can talk for a while. If all of this doesn't work you may need the friendship to fall apart. But do not let this discourage you. If she is a real friend she won't let this happen. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck

Ugh...okay I HATE my clothes. I went through this whole phase recently of "I care what everyone else thinks and my opinion doesnt matter". And that includes clothes. I wear the same old crappy polo tees from hollister and stupid jeans and stupid shoes. I just look like every other boring un-unique "prep". Well, i've finally grown out of this. I now want to start dressing like my personality which is edgy, unique, and artsy. I like rock/emo/indie music if it helps? I'm looking for some fashion tips (example...stuff like wearing your belt to the side, etc.) And some stores online I could check out to help me dress more "edgy". Also, i dont have alot of money. How can i rock out a plain polo? Any hair ideas? Makeup ideas? I hate dressing "preppy" when inside im not like that. THANKS!

Start small. Some things that are unquie (haha I can't spell) ideas are taking a long skirt and baking random cuts in it. Cut up your polo shirts into whatever you think looks color. Bright colors are the best. Some great stores to help you are Pacsun (www.pacsun.com) and gojane.com. There are perfect for what you are looking for (I am focusing on the owrd indie here). If you want use Hot Topic but spareingly. That store is kinda too punkish sometimes. More fasion tips are wearing torn up capris with long socks. It looks so awesome. For make-up use dark nutrals for eyeshadow. Liquid eyeliner is always good. Plently of mascara. Nude lips and whatever blush you want. However, always use some vasline to take makeup off. For hair ideas try scrunching it. THat is putting gell in your hands and taking parts of your hair and squeezing it. Also try straighting it and use cute little clips to tie it back. For jewlery no matter what style you have dimands are a girls best friend. For shoes wear vans or etines and draw a little on them. Or a cool idea a friend of mine had was to get people to sign her shoes. I hope I helped! If you have more questions on going towards an indie style ask me because I love indie. I’m a high school senior, and I’m playing a principle character (but not a lead or supporting character) in this year’s school musical. For most of my scenes, I have a microphone. There are only a few microphones so the principles have to share. All through rehearsal, I had enough time to swap microphones with my designated partner. However, on opening night, I didn’t, and I couldn’t get my microphone on in time. It fell out of my dress while I was onstage. I pretended like it wasn’t even there, and this angered my director.

What should I have done? Is it better to break curtain, or to break character? And what should I do if it happens in subsequent performances?

I think what you have done was the right thing. I don't see how your director got mad about this. However, if it happens again you should still do the same thing. Possibly pretend you dropped a pencil (I'm pretty sure principles carry around pens or pencils). Ask your director if it should happen again what to do. If he just say it won't happen then do again what you did last night. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck
