I have been using limewire www.limewire.com for about 1 year now with no problems, sometimes a high firewall can knock it off but it's really quick for downloading. another good one is wwww.ares.com, you have to pay for this one but it comes recommended.

Warez at warezclient.com or itunes.com It's continuous if you put it on your playlist. I believe you can plug big speakers into the laptop.

The download program that I use is Soulseek. (www.slsk.com I believe the website is) it's best to use if you're into obscure bands because there is bound to be someone who has those songs.

Depending on your media player, depends if you have continuous play. There ususally is a function that you can click called "repeat" and you can repeat your playlist.

For a party, I wouldn't suggest putting it on continuous play, I would rather choose songs that matched the mood of the crowd. But that's just me.

You can't really hook up giant speakers to a laptop, but if you buy speakers with good enough sound quality you should be fine.

Dont download bearshare. It gives you spyware.
iTunes is probably the safest bet so you dont get the RIAA on your butt.
Limewire if you dont care.

www.limewire.com

This is especially helpful if you have iTunes or some sort of media player. If you don't want to have to do anything during your party for music (which you probably won't) download a ton of music and turn it into a playlist. Play the playlist, and make sure it's a few hours long. Make sure you have a good mix of songs that are popular. And don't stay with the rap and pop music, there's more than just that that people like.

Hope I helped!

A great thing to use is iTunes. And you don't need an iPod to use it. You simply go to www.itunes.com and download it. The songs are $0.99 each. THe also have almost every song. Including, ones from years ago. Personally, I love it. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck

Limewire is good. You can download it for free and then download the songs from Limewire. As for the other stuff, it depends on what you are using and what you set it to. If you have any friends who work in AV at your school, you might try asking them for help.

To download music to your laptop I suggest iTunes. It's $0.99 per song, and they have virtually any song you would want. For free songs I'd suggest Limewire. To download them you will have to be on the internet, but once they are downloaded you won't have to. You could also download music with Limewire and play it on iTunes. In iTunes you can also create a playlist to play the songs you want continuously, or use the smartplaylist and party mix features. Party mix will randomly pick songs from the iTunes library and play them, you can also remove any upcoming songs that you do not want to play. Or choose a certain song you do want to play. And you can get speakers depending on what type of laptop you have. Hope I helped. :-)

go to limewire.com and download the program it is free and has absolutely every song you could possibly think if on it! You then choose the songs you want its so simple! Once the songs have downloaded onto the default media player on your laptop they stay there and you don't have to connect to listen to them. Also you can make it continuously play all the songs and yep you can plug speakers into the headphone socket on your laptop! aint technology grand??!!
