would it be better for a brunette to go to a red shade? most of my friends are saying red instead of blonde...what do yall think is better?

Red is better because with your hair being brown, it will look less fake!!! Blonde looks so fake on brunettes!

keep it brunette! i think it's always best to keep your natural hair color cz then you don't have to worry about the roots showing up and stuff. but if you really wanna dye it, DO NOT do blonde. it usually turns out an orangie color that looks completely fake and gross.

If you want to go red then go with the color like Lindsey Lohan. I thinkt that color is cute. But brunettes totally rock!! Im sure you will look cute eather hair color. ♥

Don't go brunette. Unlike what everyone else said that is the color that is now so common and unorignal. I would go a darker red or dark blonde. A dark blonde will get you less rude comments and dark reds are really pretty.

it really depends on what you want, if you really want to be blonde you should go for it. if you have really dark hair the bleach won't make you blonde-blonde, it might a go slight orangey shade, but it might just go a dirty blonde. i think that being a redhead would be more original and it goes over brunette hair better. again, it all depends on what you want most.

if you're a dark brunette then blonde probably wouldnt be good because it wouldnt match your eyebrows and it just wouldnt look right to other people! if your hair is a light brown then i think blonde will look fine. you're friends probably know better though because they actually can see you & they know what will look good so id go with what your friends say and try red!

Everyone is blonde. That just gives people to call you stupid if you say something dumb. Go red most definately. Red is much prettier than blonde. You don't see too many red heads lately.

Right now at least, the very red hair and pale skin is the style for models and runway designers. but you can never forget that the classic tan and blonde hair is always a beauty as well. for a brunette I would suggest a red tone but if you like both colors try going for a strawberry blonde! :)
