Erinn_the_bamf answered Saturday May 14 2005, 6:16 pm: Some books that really make you think are:
1984 by George Orwell (sp?)
The First Five Peolpe You Meet in Heaven
A Wrinkle in Time by Madelene L'Engle
The Divinci Code (not sure of the actual name)
I'm sorry, I don't know all the authors of the books. Also I have never read The Perks of Being a Wallflower ; nevertheless, these are still books that make you think. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck [ Erinn_the_bamf's advice column | Ask Erinn_the_bamf A Question ]

fragileivory answered Saturday May 14 2005, 5:38 pm: I never read The Perks of being a Wallflower but my favorite books are by V.C. Andrews. I would really recommend the Flowers in The Attic series. A lot of her books make me think, and yes, there is some discomfort, haha.
