I broke up with my BF at this dance we have in my city...this was only because he was dancing with other girls....(girl) and I was jealous, so I broke up with him, but I have been walking with him and I really really like him a LOTTT!!!!!!!!
what should I do???

I think you should give him a second chance, you broke up with him out of jealousy. All he did was dance with other girls after all. If you still like him then talk to him and see if he wants to get back together, but remember, don't just assume he still likes you.

My mother just got married, though we've been living with him and his daughter for a year or two. Recently I've realized what a bad person my new stepsister is (evil stepsister!!) but I have to live with her until I go to college (two years). I told her I didn't like her flat out, but I still have to deal with her on an almost daily basis. What can I do to make this less painful?

Try to be civil with her, avoid arguments and stay out of her way whenever possible. Keep your opinions of her to yourself and make an effort. If you are forced to do something together or live within close range of each other (like on a family holiday) then try your best to be friendly and to get along.

This is mostly to the females out there: What is the most romantic- meaningful gift you've ever received?

My ex boyfriend had broken up with me on the last day of term before christmas, I was absolutely devestated. A couple of days later, it was Christmas Eve and our group of friends, including him, were meeting up. Me and him were basically ignoring each other until we all decided to go back to my house. We started flirting and eventually he asked me back out, of course I said yes and we kissed. That was definitely the best present ever.

Another good one was when another ex got me a necklace from a castle. It was the tackiest, most hideous thing I've ever recieved and it probably only cost a few pennys but it was still special at the time. I had never recieved a present from a boy before, I don't know it just meant something. Now I hate it.

The best presents come from the heart, it's not about money and how much you spent on it or how much it's worth. It's about how much effort you put in to getting it, how much it means to the reciever, how much it means to both of you. Sure, girls love expensive jewellery but it usually has no sentimental value unless it has some sort of inscription on it. It's the small, heartfelt, romantic things that count.

as said on the subject i have a plugged nose and a soar throat.. the end part of my throat is really really itchy and i can't make it stop ='( and my ears hurt they feel kinda really itchy too i've been rubbing it with a qtip buh it doesn't work wut else can i do? what kinda medicine shud i take? is buckleys good? they advertise it alot.. plz help.. thx

I know how you feel, I am off school with the same as you and it sucks.

Instead of using a medicated product, try something more natural like honey and lemon. Seriously, it soothes your throat and the vitamin C is good for you. Simply take a lemon and squeeze the juice out of it, boil up some water, add the lemon and then stir in about 2 tablespoons of honey. If it is too sour add a little sugar to sweeten. Take small sips for best results, don't just drink it all down instantly.

As for your blocked nose, try using a product like Vicks VapoRub which clears it or chew some airwaves gum for a while, it helps. It also helps if you blow your nose as much as you can.

Also, suck lozenges or throat sweets to help ease your throat and drink plenty of water. Avoid scratchy foods and stick to things like soups until you are feeling better.

If you continue to feel unwell, then I'd go to the doctor and get something perscribed.

Good luck and I hope you get better soon.

I really do think I should be a doctor.

do you believe in soul mates?

I believe that you can meet someone and want to spend the rest of your life with them but I don't believe that there is only one person for everyone. I think you can be happy with lots of different people, there isn't just one person that we are destined to be with forever.

i have orangy-red hair, brown eyes and pale skin. what color eyeliner would look good on me? if you need more info just tell me! i rate 5s to answers that dont piss me off.

Brown. Black would look too weird with you hair and blue would just be a mistake. Definitely brown.

Well...I would be going to a public school...the state run ones (which I guess are private?) I guess I'd like to know how hard it is...is it really rigorous? Also...just how it IS in general...do they offer sports? Just stuff like that. Also, would you recommend England over any other European country?

State schools are the ones most people go to. Private ones are the other ones. The private ones are generally harder, the expectations are higher. I don't know much about private schools, I go to a free state school. Yes, all schools offer a wide range of sports, it's a legal requirement I think. Overall, the English school system is a good one, most schools get good results in general. Out of all the European countries I have visited, I would reccomend England. There is alot of history, culture, colour and fun here...and the food is great.

Hi! I see that you're from England...
Well I already asked you a question (about being a foreign exchange student). I still haven't made my final choice about where I want to go in Europe...but I am VERY interested in England! What is the public school system there like? I have heard alot already from the group who is going to sponsor me going..but since you live in England, you probably know better than them!

By public school system, do you mean the private schools or the normal ones? In England, the public schools are the ones which are private. I don't know much about private schools but the state schools have a good system. What exactly do you want to know about it? There is alot to tell! Any specific questions?

I just found out that I'm most likely going to be a foreign exchange student in the United Kingdom next year (my senior year of high school!) I am so excited...I will either be going to Scotland, Ireland, or England. I am not quite sure which one yet! I just have a little question...does anyone know what sort of clothes are in style there?

I live in England.

The styles are basically the same as America I think. It really depends on what kind of style you have. A lot of boys wear skater clothes and girls generally wear skirts or jeans. There is no real 'in' style at the moment. You get all kinds of styles around, there is no set one that is in at the moment.

P.S: Go to England, Ireland is small and Scotland is too cold.

I'm 14 years old, and I want my hair dyed. Like I want a drastic change SORTA. My hair right now is Dark Blonde. I don't want like blue pink colors though. I'm white, and my face is sorta red usually. I'm not really tan, I am sometimes. But not always. Whats a good hair color for me =)

I am very white and I never tan, I generally have rosy/red cheeks and I have dark brown hair. It's the think I get alot of compliments on, the contrast between my skin and hair looks good. I think you should get your hair dyed to a dark brown or even blackish colour, that would look really drastic and dramatic.

I have stretch marks on my boobs!!!!! Is this normal? Do most girls have this? What causes it, and can I get rid of them???

Yeah, when you're growing it's fine to get stretch marks. It is caused by you suddenly growing quickly and forcing the skin to stretch. Most girls get them at some point. You can't really get get rid of them permenantly but if you use a rich body lotion such as cocoa butter on them everyday, then over time they will fade until they are barely noticable.

How can you get rid of split ends without cutting each one of them off? Also, how can you prevent them? Thanks.

You can't get rid of them without having them cut off but you can prevent them. Always use heat protection sprays or products when you blow dry, straighten, curl or use any other heated product on your hair. Wash it regularly and use an anti-split ends conditioner. Just take general good care of your hair and split ends shouldn't be a problem. However, if you do get them then don't leave it for weeks and weeks until you get your hair cut, make an appointment quickly. If you leave it too long then the ends will eventually cause the whole hair shaft to split, which would mean that you would have to get a lot more hair cut off than just the ends.

Hi my friends old friends live far away from my new house and i dont go to the same school anymore. I'm 13 and i wanna know how we can stay friends for 3 more years (so we can drive to each others houses). I know it will be hard but what can i do??? Please help me!!!

If you have an instant messanging program, then you can contact each other through that, text messages, by phone, email, even letters etc. Is it possible to arrange for your parent/parents to drive you there once a month or something? Is there a bus you could get? Train maybe? Myabe there is a place halfway between your friends and you that you could meet up at every now and again? Just keep in regular contact via phone and such and arrange visits often and it should be fine. Thanks to the wonders of modern transport and technology, it is reletively easy to stay in touch with people living away from us.

Please don't delete this question, because I am actually very curious about this. Why do people join this website who aren't even serious about helping people or receiving help? People who need help come here and some ignorant people joke around and even insult these people in need. Don't you think it's time we suspend or expel these rude people? I'm sick of it myself.

The moderators have had countless discussions about individuals who cause trouble on this site. We always come to the conclusion that we must either ignore them or report them using the report abuse feature. It's virtually impossible to suspend every single user who is abusing the site, just ignore them. The people who do it are just bored and have no lives, instead of answering questions well they waste everyone's time with stupid pointless answers. Like I said, report them or ignore.

lets say u have a boyfriend but some one asks you to dance with them at a dance .. do u ?
thanks !

As long as it's not really slow dancing to romantic music, then it should be fine. If it's just a friendly dance, no close close close contact involved then it's okay. However, if it's close slow dancing then no, that's not okay.

My name is Kayla and I'm 13 years old. I started my period not too long ago. But I have skipped about 3. Is this normal for me? I don't want to be able to not have children or anything? Is it serious? Please help.

For about the first year or two of your periods, they will probably be irregular. After a couple of years or so, they usually even out although some woman always have irregular periods. This definitely doesn't affect your chances of having children.

everytime i get out of the shower my knees are all red and parts of my legs. why is this and is this bad?

It's probably just because of the heat of the water. Don't worry, it's nothing serious. If it really worries you, then just turn the temperature of the water down.

What are some good online journals??

I use http://www.greatestjournal.com and I think it's really good. You can change the layout of your journal easily without major knowledge of html, you can add other journal users as friends, meet new people, decided whether you want your journal to be private or public and much more. It gives you alot of control and is easy to use. I definitely reccomend it. Other ones I know of are: http://www.livejournal.com http://www.diaryland.com http://www.opendiary.com there are many others but greatestjournal is in my opinian the best.

my boobs are uneven one of them is smaller. i have to wear padded bras to make them even! is this normal?thanks appriciate it

That's normal. Almost all girls have uneven breasts when they are growing, it usually evens out more when they get older but one will probably always be slightly bigger than the other. This is fine and very common, it wont even be that obvious so don't worry.

NEED HELP NOW!!

Ok so the other night me and my boyfriend had a talk about about porn and I asked him all these questions... and he told me that he'd only looked at it/watched it three times on kazaa... so I made him swear on us and on my life and he did, but then today me and his friend were joking and he said my b/f just had porn on his computer so i was joking around and I said I was gonna check his computer and see and he got all defensive and wouldn't let me, but then when I did... I found like 10 different websites on his computer... They're all from a long time ago, but still he lied to me! Do I have a right to be mad at him? especially since he swore on us and my life!?!?
WHAT SHOULD I DO???

PS: he appologize a LOT and said he was sorry and he loved me "so much" but I feel like an idiot now for believing him... I need help please give me advice!!

Calm yourself. If you were him, would you really admit to your girlfriend that you had been watching porn? He was probably ashamed and embarassed about it, it's normal. Okay, so he swore on your relationship and all but I think you're taking it too seriously. Just because he swore it's not like the whole relationship has ended because he was lying. Forgive and forget, the websites were from a long time ago anyway.
