Hey Everyone :) I'm Kate and a level 2 mod on here. I've had this account since July 2004, so I've been on here since I was 13! Wow ... crazy for me to think how long ago that was. I will admit I don't check in as often as I once did, but being away at college, being in a sorority, and having a job when I'm not at school is very time consuming. I still try to help out as much as possible, and if you send me a question I WILL answer it. On AIM, when you put up the hearts and pictures, how do you do that? I always try and get a good way to put it up, but it never works. How do you get hearts and things in your profile, and on your away message?

Typing in webdings or there was some other symbol one, but you can get hearts, heck you can get a mini picture of a beach. But yeah, there's more than one symbol font but webdings is the only one I've ever used so it's the only one that I know.

ok, so i went to my friends pool party, and it was 4 hours long, so i got soooo sunburnt that i look like a giant tomato!! and it really hurts!!! but that's not what i'm concerned about. i got like sooooo tan!!!! is their anything that'll make me get whiter again? WITHOUT surgery?!! i rate high!!!

Wow, I never heard of anyone that didn't want to be tan... kinda cool I guess.
Anywho, I've never heard of anyone changing the shade of their skin even with surgery, well except Michael Jackson... but who cares about him.
But I have a sunburn too, mine usually turn from red to tan, then they peel and I'm back to my white self. After the sunburn peels it'll take off some of the color, so that will make it less tan.

Ok, i'm going to a soccer camp, and it allows u an hour ansd a half for free time. since were not allowed to bring electronicts, i'm going to be so bored. I'm new on the soccer team that's hosting the camp, so what should i bring or do that can include some of the girls at the camp?

You can bring either a regular pack of cards, or things such as Uno and card games.
You can bring Mancala, you can bring games such as monopoly or clue or scrabble, or any other multi player boardgames or card games.

Butterfly Kisses

There's 2 things I know for sure, she was sent here from Heaven and she's Daddy's little girl. As I drop to my knees by her bed at night, she talks to Jesus and I close my eyes. Sweet 16 today, she's looking like her mamma a little more everyday, one part woman the other part girl. To perfume and makeup from ribbons and curls. Trying her wings out in a great big world. Daddy's Special Day

Today was Daddy's Day at school,

"She probably doesn't have one,"
another student dared to shout.

The words did not offend her,
as she smiled up at her Mom.
And looked back at her teacher,
who told her to go on.
And with hands behind her back,
slowly she began to speak.

"My Daddy couldn't be here,
because he lives so far away.
But I know he wishes he could be,
since this is such a special day.
And though you cannot meet him,

With that, her little hand reached up,

Doing what was best for her,

but its message clear and loud.

A room full of daddies and children,
all starting to close their eyes.
Who knows what they saw before them,
who knows what they felt inside.

they saw him at her side.

to the silence she called out.
And what happened next made believers,
of those once filled with doubt.
Not one in that room could explain it,
for each of their eyes had been closed.
But there on the desk beside her,

My guy gets mad when I'm with or talk to any other guy who I'm just friends with. What do I do?

Well it sounds to me like he's jealous. What do you mean by gets mad? I know what gets mad means, but how does he actually react? Does he start yelling at you, does he just pout and stuff...?
Have you two talked about it? If you haven't talked about it yet, then I say tell him the two of you need to talk but you're not breaking up (why is it whenever the words "we need to talk" come up people think they're breaking up?) and ask him what he would like you to do. Now I know neither of you, I've never seen how he is. But when you say he gets mad if you're just hanging around other guys, and you aren't flirting or anything, have to ever though that this guy may have some kind of problems... I mean he could be abusing you and you not even knowing it. I don't mean physically either, but it could lead to it.

i was wondering if VEET bladless shaving actually works?? and if so how long do your legs stay smooth?

It worked for me. Not great, I mean is it supposed to stay on for a certain time? Mine worked for maybe a week and a half or around that. But that's pretty good for me because I have to shave at least twice a week, sometimes three times a week or my legs get hairy.

It doesn't work for everyone though, especially people with sensative skin. Just read the directions and the warning, and pretty much everything on the bottle and follow the directions and stuff and it'll hopefully work for you.

I wrote last time how my ex wants to hook back up with me the advice was great. i talk to him and i told him how i felt and told him i was tryed of him leaving me to talk to some other gurl, and how he never sends any times with me. I seeing change in him he comes every moring to see me where it's mostly all of my girls. come to my one study hall some days to one of my class and we write notes to each other. we spend time after school with each other when we can. I stick by what I say last time, all he's going to do is disappoint you. I mean you can try to keep up the friendship, see if he has truly changed, but I most definitley wouldn't start dating him at least not for a looooong while.

Yes, it's possible that he could've changed, but somehow I really doubt that he has changed. If it happens once, it's his fault, if it happens twice it's your fault. Not like your fault, but if something bad happens more than once when it comes to guys, cheating on your, forcing you sex, doing something like that, then you should NEVER take them back because they won't change until they grow up, maybe not even then.

Is Algebra I , Physical Honors,& English Honors hard ? I'm just so worried and don't try to be overdevastingly tramatic. Just be honest with me. Is it?

Algebra 1 was the easiest for me. Honors english is pretty easy too, mainly if you pay attention, but I don't know what physical honors is. Sorry

This year, i got put into the earliest lunch period at school- i eat lunch at 10:30 am. because of this, i stopped eating breakfast, so that i'm hungry at lunch. but then, since i eat so early, i am starving my the time school is out. by dinner, i'm not very hungry, and i get hungry around 930ish. i hate my eating schedule- its so screwed up and i know it can't be good for my body. any ideas?

Well I'm out for the summer but when I was in school this past semester I had the same problem. I had first lunch and it wasn't any fun.

I just waited for the lunch line to go down, got my lunch and by that time it was about 11:00 (my lunch was at 10:45 and ended at about 11:15 or something) and that gave me enough time to eat and wasn't too late.

What you need to do is eat something for breakfast still, even if it's like one pop tart, or one piece of toast or anything small because breakfast is the most important meal time.
Then when it comes to lunch wait as long as you can to eat, but don't rush yourself and make sure you have enough time to finish your lunch.

Then if you're allowed to have food in your last or second to last class bring a small snack, if not then still bring a small snack and eat it on your way home. Or if you can wait until you get home to eat a snack then wait until then but only eat enough so as you're no longer starving so you can save room for dinner.

I am so worried, I ruined the relationship with the woman of my dreams over 3 years ago. We haven't spoken a word to each other since then. Last week I called her parents house and left a brief message and , suprisingly, she called and left me a message telling me that she will be at home for fathers day weekend. You have to be honest with her. Tell her that you still have those same feelings for her, but if friends is all she's willing to be then you accept and just friends it is.

So maybe you can say something like *Sally* I don't want to freak you out (maybe not that part) but after all this time we've been apart, I've thought more and more about you, and I think (or I know) that I still love you. That's only advice coming from a 14 year old girl. I could tell you if my ex came back into my life and we had broken up for a suitable reason, like he moved away or something, and he told me he still had feelings for me, and I was single... I'd probably try it out with him again.
So your best bet is to be honest with her. Girls like an honest guy, not a liar. So I mean yes, I guess the friendship might be at risk, because for some girls it's weird to be just friends with a guy, hopefully not with this girl though. I was going to say what have you got to lose, but thats to risky of a sentence for me.

You're way too young for him to be putting you through this. Now if it were me I would probably give the guy a second chance, but if you're already given him your second chance then you have to give up hope on him. He hasn't changed. well i went to a concer like 2 days ago and i was in the mosh pit and i got thrown on stage...
i stood up and the band had stopped playing and everyone was staring at me...i feld so embarassed. but then i saw my bf in the front row and i started singing the song that they were playing... so they started playing the song again and i was up their the whole show..
the band called me the next day and asked me and my band to come with them on tour... my band is called the audio switch.

I would most definitley go on tour if I were you. I mean there will always be summer break. Besides people might start really recognizing you. You get get a CD out, this is a definite way to start your career. I mean this is a once and a lifetime chance. You'll still have some friends with you... the band. Thats better then nothing. Plus I'm sure you can call your friends and stuff.

I just got my period like over a year ago and i'm going to the beach in like 3 weeks. My period is very UNEVEN. I don't know when to expect it..my question is, what am i gonna do when i have it on the beach..is there any way i can prevent it? please help

1st off, when you're in the OCEAN something about the salt water will wash it right out of your bathing suit. I know this because my sister went to the beach with a friend and that happened to her, and thats what her friends mom told her.
But anyway, if I were you I would DEFINITLEY have tampons with me. If you're the type of person that doesn't like tampons or that hasn't tried them yet then I would start practicing, if you are able to use them but still don't like them, only use them in the water and any other time use pads.
