there is no way to prevent your period.
if you are at the beach and you want to go swimming, use tampons.
so bring pads, tampons everything you need for your period and have an awesome time.
hope i helped.

There isn't a guarantee you'll get it there, but if I were you I'd talk to my mom, and get some tampons or something. Don't worry, periods are usually uneven when you are just starting and it takes a while for the cycle to become even and predictable.

Eat A LOT of glue. Have some paste eating contests with your brother and other homies hangin on the beaches. They'll be glad to step up to the plate for

2005 PASTE EATER OF THE YEAR awards contest.

Dont forget! The winner gets the superglue!

Well, it will be uneven for the first few years, but if you do get it, use a tampon. Their not as bad as they sound. I used to be like, reallllllly afraid of them, but they are actually quite convenient. You can swim in them and everything. If you don't want to use a tampon, don't wear a pad in the water! Trust me. It's very annoying and heavy and it doesn't absorb anything, just water. :( Jsut try to use a tampon and get the Tampax Pearl Plastic. They are wonderful. You can put a lil bit of vaseline on it and it will go in easier! :)

1st off, when you're in the OCEAN something about the salt water will wash it right out of your bathing suit. I know this because my sister went to the beach with a friend and that happened to her, and thats what her friends mom told her.
But anyway, if I were you I would DEFINITLEY have tampons with me. If you're the type of person that doesn't like tampons or that hasn't tried them yet then I would start practicing, if you are able to use them but still don't like them, only use them in the water and any other time use pads.
Good luck and have fun at the beach.

No, there is no way to prevent your period from coming. If it decides to start during the week you're going to the beach, just pack and bring along a few tampons. You can still swim while wearing tampons.
