A few thoughts I've gathered from my teenage years (and being on this site for most of them!):
1. If you Google song lyrics, the song will come up 99% of the time.
2. Dress to fit your body type, and buy the size that fits. If you're a size 6, squeezing into a 4 won't make you look skinnier. It makes you look fat when you aren't.
3. You will never regret waiting to lose your virginity.
4. There is such a thing as a stupid question, but we're all allowed to ask them.

My ears is two idfferent sizes, so if I want headphone that go into my ear I have to buy the In Canal Headphones instead of the generic in ear.

The problem is that I have bought In Canal headphones twice, and they work very well, but the wiring in both pairs has broken after just a few months. These kinds of headphones are expensive too. I don't want to be spending $40 every few months on a new pair.

Does anyone know where I can buy In Canal headphones that will actually hold up? And possibly have a money back guarentee.

Circuit City often has cheap ones.

Have you also tried getting regular earbuds, but only putting the little foam cover thing on one side? That could work.

Yeah my hair is not exactly straight but it is not curly either. it's like somewhere in the middle. Also it is very thick. What are some good ways to straighten my hair besides permanent relaxation?

Get some gel. There's lots of brands like Loreal Studio and Got2B that make guy-ish hair products (meaning you won't end up smelling like a girl)

When you get a hair cut again, consider getting it thinned out, but only if the person doing it thinks it's a good idea for your hair.

You could also consider getting a straightener. If you have one already, don't use it on we hair, and use gel or something first.

I seem to hate it so much whenever people use msn slang, double letters like ''radd &&fabb'' and also &&.

I know I'm 14...but everyone else uses msn slang ALL the time.

Is there something wrong with me because I hate it so much? I find it easier to type normally.
I understand things like w.e lol stfu etc.
bt wen thy typ lik ths it pisses the sht out of m.

Also I find people who use excessive emoticons for like words and so on.

Nah, you don't have a problem.
A lot of people are like that nowadays.
For me at least, everyone thought it was "cool" to use all that AIM slang & such in middle school, but now since we're all such good typists (typers? whatever, you get the point!) it's simpler to just type complete sentences regardless of whether it's AIM or a term paper. The only abbreviations I still use are rotflol, lmfao, and brb if I have to leave VERY quickly for something like a small kitchen fire.

Ppl hoo ttype lyk dis are just annoying, haha. You're fine :)

17/f. I have a boyfriend whom I love to death and I think the world of him. He is just great. We are used to spending pretty much every day together but lately over the past three weeks we have both not seen each other because we both have other commitments in new collages and courses and family etc. So we don't get to see each other. He bought me a beautiful present for my birthday and I just want to either write to him (we usually do this) and tell him how much he means to me and how much I miss him. I am a bit stuck about what to write though. We always write to each other and give each other notes when we see each other but I always seem to be saying the same things. What should I tell him?
The other idea I had was to make him something really special and give it to him.
Does anyone have any ideas of what I should do??

I don't think it would matter if you think you're always saying the same thing. What matters is that you're making the effort. Write about something funny that's happened to you together, what you've done since you started college, new friends, and of course how much you miss him.

As for what to make or buy, you know him best. Is he the tickets-to-a-concert type, or his-favorite-sports-team-jersey type? It'd also be awesome if, say, one Saturday night a month you went out for dinner and/or a movie, just the two of you. Or with friends, whichever you prefer. That way, you're not overwhelming each other & still have the time for other commitments, but you can still spend some quality time together too.

If you're not super-close friends, I think it's okay to date your friend's exes. Granted, dating 'your best friend since preschool's ex-boyfriend who she dated for two years' is a bad idea. But if you never dated the ex of ANY of your friends... you probably wouldn't get a boyfriend until you got out of high school.

So, since you both like each other (and you don't just want to date him to make her hate you, because that's using him) say yes. She may not even notice. If she does, explain that you genuinely like him & you never intended to hurt her.

is unweighted gpa for normal classes and hns and aps for weighted gpa? can someone have a a high unweighted and low weighted?

The weighted GPA doesn't make much of a difference.
It makes all the difference in the world when determining class rank, though.
The way most schools work (if not all) is:

Let's say you have a 90 in a level two class, weighted at 105%. You'll get an extra five percent added to your grade [90 x 1.05] = 94.5

Level one class (or AP) graded at 110%:
90 x 1.10 = 99

The level one class is harder, so you'll get a higher grade when claculating class rank. That's basically it. The weights don't make much of a difference, you either do really well in the class or tank it completely.

Okay. Well this lady came to my house to adopt two of my hamsters from the litter i had. She came with her really cute step son, but i dont remember his name! He called my house asking to hang, but i couldnt and am a bad talker and kinda sounded rude on the phone when i said i couldnt. I want to call him back, but i dont know his name and all.. so what should i do? i have his house and his step moms cell number. Any suggestion on what i should do? I really dont want to ruin my chance with him, & i wanna call him but yeah.

Call his mom's cell number, and ask how the hampsters are doing. Or if she's going to pick them up (basically ask something about the hampsters) Then ask if her son is home, and guess his name. If you're wrong she'll probably tell you, and then you can say something like "oh yeah, I meant to call him back, should I call the house?".

I keep getting like 1 or 2 huge pimples on my back but my back isn't greasy or anyhting cuz I take two showers a day, the only thing oily is my face.

How do I remove them? I'm not comfortable wearing tank tops anymore!

Use a regular face wash, or something like Neutrogena Body Clear, on your back. It helps if yu have one of those back brush thingies, which you can get anywhere really cheap. Also, even a regular body wash could help, if you don't normally wash your back, haha. Good luck!

There was a show I used to watch quite a few years ago... it was about a boy that was in school, all i can really remember is he had a crush on a girl(wow that helped) and he had a big brother that got in a car accident once, so either his brother of him were afraid of riding in a car for quite awhile after that...I wish i remembered more, and if i do ill add it one, and i know this isn't much, but i really want to know what this show is... and i just can't think of it.. thanks for any help!

my dad just bought a eyebrow/nose/ear trimmer. i understand the nose and ear part, but how does a man trim his eyebrow? do they just make the brow hair shorter?

It cuts the hair a lotttt shorter. There's one attachment for them (at least on all the ones I've seen) that trims the hairs really close to the skin. It's good for guys who don't want the unibrow look, but don't want to wax their eyebrows, either.

ok, so when i grind with guys, they put both their hands like right below my pelvis (like over my ovaries) and like hold on really tight and push in. and then they like dig into me (like their croch) as hard as they can while i dance. why do they do that? is that just the way guys dance, haha i never danced with a guy like that before. whats up with that? thankss :)

It's because they like it. Most guys do that. If you're grinding with pretty much any guy, you can guarantee that they'll do that.

so I have this huge test. and I keep on studying for it. I've been studying for the past 3 days. Yet, there's still so much more to study. I feel like I have no rest, and I'm only 15 years old...Weekends are supposed to be rest - not work. What should I do? I feel tired of studying. I feel like nothing else will go in my head. =/ I'm pretty sure I know the general idea of the test...and if I get a bad grade, I could still finish off decent in that class. I'm so lost. If you're in a situation like this, do you continue to kill yourself studying..orr..do you stop and rest and just "forget about it"? people aren't robots =/ schools should know that, shouldn't they?

Try looking at the material a different way.

Review notes, as opposed to just rereading entire chapters (espeically useful for history & such)

Look at old homework assignments and worksheets. The questions your teacher has given you in class are surely going to be on the test.

If you have vocabulary (or events/battles, in history) make flash cards. I love using multicolored index cards & a thick black marker to write the word in cool writing, it helps me to remember and just by making the cards, it helps you study.

Studying is one of those things that far too many people blow off as "not important". Granted, rereading your notes for six days straight may be a bit much. By paying attention in class, doing your homework, and reviewing for an hour or two, you're a lot more prepared than you think. And you absorb a lot more information than you realize. Judgeing by the fact that you're concerned enough to ask on here about study habits, that shows me that you're a good student who cares about her studies. You'll do just fine.

I would take a break, and tonight review just a little more, read over some notes one more time. That's it. Stop stressing so much over it & you'll do better. Plus, teachers can always tell when you studied/paid attention. Even if you don't remember every date, every single vocab word, the effort shows, and you'll get graded accordingly.

ok so i've had a crush on this guy for 7 years and i just told him recently how i feel . we talk all the time at least once a day. but the prob. is his best friend whom i have no interest in what so ever has a huge crush on me its to the point of obsession and the guy i like used to date my little sister. he is the same age as me though, he just think it be weird to be with me after dating my sister and i also believe he dont wanna hurt his friend's feelings. up till three days ago i thought we were just friends thats it but then he started say he wanted to " Sleep with me" i accidently sent the message to his friend, who says he is just messing with me. but he confroted his frend(my crush) online last nite and i was talking to my crush at the time and he(my crush) said that his friend was asking why he(my crush) was hitting on me . my crush im'd me saying that he could get himself out of trouble with his friend. he told me what he told his friend he said that he was using reverse psychology on me then laugh about it with me. i said twice well he(my crushes friend) dont have anything to worry about its not like u have feelings for me right? and he said he knows what im capable of and he likes u. WHAT SHOULD I DO ? DOES HE LIKE ME OR IS HE JUST MESSING WITH ME? PLZ HELP

Okay, this question is confusing me. I think the only way you're going to know for sure how he feels about you is asking him yourself. The fact that he dated your sister (and said before that he would be weird to date his ex's sister) makes me think that he's just messing with you. But you won't know unless you ask.

As for how to dress tomorow, wear what you normally wear & dess appropriate to the weather. You'll look stupid if it's 20 degrees out and you're wearing a miniskirt. =]

so i have to wear this collared shirt for work (which is fine, that's not the problem) and every time i wash it and dry it in the washer and dryer, it gets so much cat hair and stuff stuck to it, it's disgusting! and i don't want to look like a crazy cat lady at work. so anyway, i know i could just use a lint roller (i generally do) but why is it just this one shirt that's like this with hair? and what can i do in the washing/drying process to make it not do that? thanks!

Dryer sheets can help, as can fabric softener. Both of them reduce static electricity.
The shirt is probably made of a different type of fabric than your other clothes & therefore it acts as more of a magnet for cat hair, it's normal.

I wouldn't think that was cheesy.
I would consider that to be kind of cute.
You could say something like "Will you be my girlfriend?" or ask her "You know what would make me the happiest guy alive?" (wait for her to guess) than say "If you would be my girlfriend".
Whatever you say, it'll get the point across.
